First loves are never forgotten.
Zoe
At eighteen, Bodhi Dawson was my everything. I believed he would be my first, and my last. But circumstances changed, and after one betrayal too many, He just suddenly disappeared. Ghosting me. I was desperate to forget about him,so I didn't think anything of it to accept a date from his best friend Caleb.
He treated me like a girl should be treated, showering me with gifts, and being a genuinely nice guy. or so I thought, and soon we were engaged at twenty, and married at twenty-two.
But I still couldn’t forget about my first love. A love that had broken my heart into a million pieces. And being best friends with the princess of the DCMC brought me back into his orbit. But he was cold and distant, not the same Bodhi Dawson that had left. He was now going by the road name Chains, discarding his Bodhi persona forever. Becoming harsh and unyielding.
I persevered with my marriage, and for the first few years, I was happy, but I never thought the one man I believed loved me more than anything else in this world, would turn into a coldhearted monster.

She was always meant to be mine.
Chains
At twenty-one, I was a prospect for the Devil’s Carnage MC after escaping from a family life that was nothing to write home about. My new family was a rag-tag bunch of bikers, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
So, when my president asked me to do a job for the club, after which I would become a full member; I jumped at the chance. I never thought I would meet Zoe Cullen, who would become the love of my life, at a frat party.
But it was never meant to be, and I left her behind, heartbroken and hating me. Returning four years later, with my head finally screwed on straight, ready to fight for my woman. I discover she’s married to the one man I never dreamed she’d fall for.
Bitter and twisted, a collection of women became a fixture in and out of my bed. Until one day, the one woman I could never forget lay injured in a hosptal bed Seeing my opportunity to right the wrongs of our past, I made my move, and vowed I would never be the cause of breaking Zoe's heart ever again.

2.5 stars. This "hero" was slightly better than who came before him. The h was slightly better than the other FMCs as well. A decade before, the H pushes h away before joining Marines. He dumps her than asks his bf to look after her. Well he ends up marrying her instead, but he's actually not a good guy. He's a detective that has ties to the cartel. Shit happens. He's abusive. The H Chain finally goes after h Zoe. So I'm reading thinking he's quite decent, but.. He pats himself on the back when he denies the offer of going to a strip club because he knew the temptation would be too great. So basically he's a douchebag that has zero self control. Why dear author? 🥴 Then he has a moment with the doctor at the hospital. Again, why? At this point him and Zoe are together. So, my conclusion with every hero from this series is they have zero self control if a moment presents itself. They'll cheat basically. No hero can be trusted. Especially Tiny whose cheating came back to bite him on the ass in this book. His roadside hotel hook-up he had zero guilt about came back pregnant. Sage in the end leaves him, but she's the most pathetic of the FMCs. She'll fold real quick. Tiny is still the grossest.

Chains-devil’s carnage MC book 3

I enjoyed reading this author’s devil’s carnage mc series. Chains made some serious personal changes in his relationships. It was interesting and incredible to read about the others members and their old ladies. The ending is a cliffhanger with Tiny’s cheating and Sage leaving.

second chance at love

What a great action packed story. Zoe projected to the world a confident woman making her mark in a man’s domain but behind closed doors suffered for her bad choices. Chains regretted the decisions he made years ago losing the girl to his best friend. Now they finally get their second chance - or do they? Great secondary characters as well and I can’t wait for Ky’s story but it also looks like Tiny’s story is not finished yet!

DNF. After Tiny’s fuckery in the last book and this from Chains/Bodie, in Chapter 1 -“Bodie: Little one, we had a great time, but I think I gave you the wrong impression. You were great pussy, and I’m happy to have popped your cherry. But I’m movin’ on and have to leave town. It's better this way, before emotions complicate things. Have a great life, I know you’ll make somethin’ of yourself. Bodie x”

Yeah, stick a fork in this H, he’s done. And so am I with this author.

EVERYONE IS LOSING THEIR SPLEEN!

I love these stories, but every character that has had surgery loses their spleen. I’m starting to think this hospital has a black market ring for spleens going on. No one in the MC will haves spleens by the end if the series. About to start book 4, I’ll bet $5 someone loses a spleen.
