I loved this one!! It’s really cool to see Morrigan evolve. She’s finding out so many things about her family and about the new life she is living. I like that she’s getting some magic and feeling a little more confident about certain things.
I love how things progressed once in Starsgard. All the new characters introduced. And Bec is just the sweetest little addition to the story!
There was more one on one time with Mor and Hawke which I loved.
I noticed a bit of foreshadowing possibly (I might be wrong but I’m wondering if Mor’s books that were given to her by her father’s friend may be more important that we realize… maybe)
And all the new marks on Morrigan towards the end? I’m super curious to learn about those in the next book! Oh and the Valkyries! I can’t wait to see what chaos will be in the next book!
Very well done! I highly recommend! Just make sure you read Empathy first!

Compassion by Siri Pielski is a captivating continuation of Morrigan's journey in the Hidden Fates series. This installment delivers a well-crafted blend of suspense, mystery, and romance.
With this book, Pielski skillfully expanded on the existing characters, offering them depth and development that kept me intrigued and engaged. The introduction of new characters (such as De'Lyons and Bec) also adds fresh dynamics to the story.
Morrigan's perspective takes a more center stage in this book, providing a deeper dive into her thoughts and emotions. The plot is filled with intriguing twists and turns, which left me eager to uncover the underlying mysteries. And the inclusion of a foursome added an extra layer of spice to already scorching-hot relationships.
While not as jarring as Empathy's cliffhanger, Compassion's ending effectively sets the stage for the next installment. Overall, Compassion is a solid addition to the series, earning a well-deserved 4-star rating.

Compassion by Siri Pielski is the second book in a continuing series, and boooy is it good! This paranormal retelling of Cinderella is hands down the best fairytale retelling I've read so far. 🤌*Chef's kiss* The world building and fascinating storyline is incredible. I am absolutely in awe of Morrigan💕 and how much she's grown and accomplished over the two books so far. ⭐"At some point, choosing kindness becomes easier than choosing violence."⭐ I can't wait to read the rest of this series!

What a great continuation of this story! I love the main character and watching her slowly grow with confidence in all aspect of who she is as a woman and a leader. She is charming and vulnerable and relatable!
The spicy scenes were definitely spiced 😂. Would I have loved more? Of course! But im glad it was not the whole point of this story. The world building is amazing and I never felt overwhelmed while meeting new character!
This book series is a must read! You don’t want to put it down and you never feel bored! Siri! Great writing! Now to wait for the next one!

Excited to see what happens in the finale!
This was a great sequel to book 1! We get to learn so much more about the characters and see Morrigan gain more confidence as the continues to learn and grow. There is a high amount of inner monolog, but it fits well with the story and the characters themselves. I'm looking forward to the last book in this trilogy!

Another amazing installment to this Cinderella retellings series. The work building, the character development…just everything is amazing and nothing short of what I’d expect from this author. I honestly cannot wait until the next book.

I really enjoyed this book, it picked up right where Empathy left us, the story kept me hooked and every time I thought I’d guessed what was going to happen next I was proven wrong! Incredible writing and yet again I find myself eagerly waiting for the next part of the story 💜
