4 CLIMATIC Stars!!
This is the story of 22 yr old Blaire Michaels who makes a living by stripping at Club Climax. She didn't plan to take her clothes off for money but she also didn't plan on her mother falling I'll and in need of heart valve replacement. Did I mention Blaire is also a virgin??
Jaxxon Ryder is a 25 yr old executive at his familiy's multi-billion company that just happens to have created an artificial heart valve........coincidence, I think not. Jaxxon doesn't believe in love, relationships, or happily ever after. He prefers Dominant/submissive relationships where he controls how long the relationship lasts.
Jaxxon happens to pop in to Club Climax one evening and is captivated by the dark hair voluptuous beauty stripping on stage named Raven (Blaire). He offers her $5,000 to go to the Ultimate Climax room with him where anything goes behind closed doors. Raven, being a virgin, never goes back into the Ultimate Climax room and turns Jaxxon down. Jaxxon always gets what he wants and he wants Raven. He will do whatever is necessary to have her in his control.

I was thinking the exact same thing.........haven't I read this story? Yes there have been numerous stories with a similar theme but I must say I really enjoyed this story. So why you may ask did I give it 4 stars? I wanted more of a back story as to why Jaxxon was the way he was. Ms. Kohl only gave a sentence to explain this. I would have liked more detail and possibly some flashbacks.
What did I like? I absolutely loved Ms. Kohl's very imaginative sex scenes. They were extremely combustible. I loved that the story had dual POV so I knew what was in Jaxxson's head too. If you want to know the rest of my thoughts while reading this book, then check out my status updates.
There is another book in this series called Dominate which I hope gives me a little more of Jaxxon & Blaire. The next book focuses on a different stripper at Club Climax named Honey.

WORST THING I HAVE EVER... EVER! READ!!!!

Okay, so I read this book last week some time and was unsure how to write this review, but here it goes.
What I liked:
I loved the plot line of this story. Struggling daughter trying to make some extra money--by stripping--to pay for her ailing mother's heart surgery. She earns the interest of a billionaire who happens to be at the night club she works and he wants to take her to the Ultimate Climax-where far more than stripping happens-for a hefty sum of money. The only problem, Raven doesn't go back to the Ultimate Climax with anyone, no matter how much money is offered.
But, everyone has a breaking point & low and behold, Raven's situation changes & she needs that extra cash in a hurry....little does she know, she's about to sign her life away for 14 days to a man who can do whatever he pleases with her.
There is also an interesting surprise twist that involves Jaxxon & Blaire, this might be predictable to some, but I will admit that I didn't see it coming . So with this information, we see how some drama gets to unfold.
Another interesting aspect to this story is through all the escapades--or better yet sexcapades--Raven does not know what Jaxxon looks like. I thought this was quite clever. The anonymity made for some interesting encounters, both in and out of the bedroom. Me likey.
Bravo, the uniqueness to this story deserves a round of applause.
What I did NOT like:
The biggest reason this book lost so many stars was....drum roll please.....Jaxxon!! Ugh, I did not like his character one bit. He was the biggest creeper ever!
In all honesty, I hated pretty mucheverything about Jaxxon. For one he was a total stalker. There is a fine line between a sexy stalker & crazy stalker, he fits into the latter. He was definitely not right in the head & had some major screws loose or something.
The dual POV in this book allows us to get into Jaxxon's head, and the inner dialogue is quite troublesome. I think we were supposed to see a disturbed man when looking at things from his POV, but the execution just fell short, and left us with a character who came off as a crazy stalker douchenugget! Also, many of his fucked up antics throughout the story left me feeling quite confused...serious what the fuck moments were involved while reading this.
I also really hated the part where Honey was involved in the bedroom...seriously, HELL TO THE NO, DUDE!! What were you thinking??
Almost everything else in this book worked for me. Jaxxon was its only downfall. If this book had a more developed, well rounded, & less disturbing hero, this would have probably been a 4 star read for me!

I don't write many reviews although I do rely upon them when selecting a book to read.
That was likely my mistake when selecting this book.
Not only does it not live up to the hype...it makes me extremely suspicious as to who could possibly be writing those rave reviews.
I won't really consider my rating a review as much as a Public Service Announcement.
If you value the time you invest in reading at all....stay FAR FAR away from this book.

Truth be told, the only thing I liked about this book was the
Nah, kidding aside, this book was absolutely damn filthy. If you aren't into books with lots of rough sex and dirty talks, then you might want to pass this one! And you might also want to stay away from this book if you hate an asshole of a hero who practically lets another woman strip in front of him, sucks her huge breasts and allows her to give him a hand job all the while being consumed with thoughts of the heroine. He didn't go all the way with another woman, but I definitely see it as cheating since he was already physically and emotionally connected with the heroine. The plot had a lot of damn potential, but majority of this book was the hero being an ass and a douche. And I did not like his character, not one bit.

This one was a serious disappointment for me. What started off as a promising twist on a romance, turned into a trite and clichéd novel about strippers and stalkers. Harsh, I know, but my opinion none-the-less.
Climax is about a young woman who is a stripper. Her stage name is Raven. She is young and smart and a "good girl" virgin. So why is she stripping? Because her mother is sick and she needs the money for medical treatment.
So one night while Raven is pole dancing...in walks Jaxxon. With two xx's because he is that sexxy!
She sees him and there is just something about him that catches her eye. She finds herself inexplicably drawn to this mysterious man she has only caught glimpses of in a darkened bar... So when he pursues her, she turns him down. What, you thought she'd say yes? Ok, so maybe she does. Here is where it starts to get creepy. She agrees to sleep with him for a LARGE sum of money. But she is afraid to tell him she is a virgin. WTF?
So when they finally do the deed, he has a rather bizarre reaction to this discovery.
Jaxxon takes it upon himself to save Raven and her mother. But the catch is, she can't know who he is. So she is only allowed to see him with a blindfold on. She has zero knowledge of him, yet he knows every minute detail about her.
He basically takes over her life, all from behind the scenes. In the bedroom, he shows her how depraved he can truly be. A few times he does some very unusual things.
So what the hell was she doing with this guy???
Raven is smart, but she lets herself get caught up in a whirlwind "romance" that could destroy her life and her mother's. So what the hell was she thinking. There were many WTF moments. The sex was good for the most part. The scenes were hot, with one exception. But I just couldn't buy this story. It was just too out there for me. Jaxxon was an absolute creeper IMO. I am not a big fan of insta-love, unless there is some paranormal element to explain it. I am also not a big fan of the one-sided relationship. He was totally sucked in by her and he fell for her but she knew NOTHING about him. She didn't even know what he looked like.
I am giving this one two stars. It was just ok for me. I finished it and that says something. I must have enjoyed it on some level. My opinion is just that, my opinion. There were many others who enjoyed this book. It just wasn't great for me. So if you are up for a challenge to your imagination, read on!

Oh me Oh my!!! I love a hot hot HOT story but I love a HOT read with a great storyline even more. Blaire is a 23 year old virgin Stripper and Jaxxon is a well known business man whose path actually passes her more than once. Blaire will do anything to save her mother and thats all I'm saying about that lol
The Chemistry between Blaire and Jaxxon is scorching hot and it leaves you wanting more!! I love the alternating POVs and absolutelt CAN NOT wait until the next book!!!

Sometimes after back to back angsty books it's nice to fall back into a lighter, but still HOT, read. This book was THAT for me. I read it in just a couple of sittings and enjoyed the tension while assured of the steamy scenes. I mean it was completely unbelievable that a relationship so based on lust could cure Jaxxon of a lifetime of fucked-upedness, but I'm glad it did. I hope I'm not "spoiler it" for anyone, but this is the most formulaic of relationship books: rich, abusive man meets virgin nobody forced to strip for her mother's healthcare costs. That's about it, except for the BDSM, which thankfully is a genre because otherwise the sex in these stories would quickly become too much of insert bolt A into slot B after awhile.

Climax by Sexxa Kohl
This is the debut novel by new author Sexxa Kohl. Can we say Oh My Gosh?? This book is so hot, I’m surprised my contact lenses aren’t scorched onto my eyeballs. If you follow my reviews, you know I have a soft spot for virgin stories. There is something about the innocent girls that will make me one click a story no matter what. But here is a little secret.... I like stripper stories too. How far apart are the two? You would think pretty far, but LOOK!!! It’s a virgin stripper! I’m in some kind of one-click heaven!
Blaire and Jaxxon are very lovable characters that you can connect with right from the first chapters. I loved the writing style. Sexxa has a unique way of making you feel like you are in the mind of the characters. You get both Blaire and Jaxxon’s POV, which I love. It feels like you are getting the whole story.
The sex scenes are off the chart hot. I can’t even tell you some of the things these guys do. You really have to just get this book and find out for yourself! Trust me, it is worth the $4!!

OMG this is one Sizzling. Hot Flashes. Sexy Erotic story of 2 people from totally different worlds . Even though Jaxxon is sexy and dominate. he also has a side even he didnt know. He doesnt like to be told NO. He is a man that gets his way no matter what until on night he walks into Club Climax and Raven invades his mind and affects his body like no one ever has. Even though Raven strips for a way to make fast money to help her mom with her medical bills, she is nothing like the other lady's there. This is a story that draws you in not wanting to put it down. I came across a link for this book I liked what I read and 1-click and dont regret my purchase . Awesome book Sexxa. Ready for Honey' story

This deserves more than 5 stars ... it was off the charts for me! Very rarely do I have a "MUST READ" .... but this lil gem will be one I for sure will be telling everyone about! I honestly didn't want it to end ... but they all have to right? No cliffy, awesome Epi....Outstanding Ms Sexxa Kohl... what a way to burst on to the scene girl...I will be a new stalker/fan girl .....yay ;)

Seemed very unoriginal; h is naive, stripper because of ill family member, drawn to the guy at the back of the strip club, contract, rich young bdsm loving H who likes to shag and nothing else, etc etc. I'm trying to avoid these kind of books that seem to just be a mesh of about 30 others. So this wasn't for me.

This is a very dark read. You will have some moments where you are in total shock. But that is what makes it so good.

The blurb doesn't really tell you what the story is about, so here's a brief synopsis:
Blaire/Raven is a stripper. She doesn't want to strip, but her mother needs a lot of money for major heart surgery. So, Blaire strips to try to raise the money.
One night while she's on stage, she catches the eye of Jaxx, a young, wealthy guy who also works/is an heir to a company that created a device that will be used to treat her mother. (It's worth noting that neither of them knew this in the beginning).
Anyway, Jaxx wants Blaire and in her desperation for money, she asks him for $40K to be his submissive for 2 weeks. She signs a contract, and they agree to the terms. Jaxx, in an effort to protect his reputation, blindfolds Blaire every time they are together, so she has no idea what he looks like. The story continues with their 14 day relationship with a bit of angst thrown in.
This story was pretty good, but very predictable. The blindfold thing was was a bit different, but otherwise the story was nothing we've read before. And of course there was instalove which I'm not a huge fan of. However, I enjoyed it despite it not being too original.

Needing the money desperately for her mom's surgery, Blaire takes him up on his offer and names her price. When the fourteen day period starts can Jaxxon hide his feelings for Blaire and vice versa or will this blow up in her face. But get this.. she has to be blindfolded the whole time she is with him! Oh SEXXA,SEXXA,SEXXA..... I don't know what to feel! This book had me lit up worse than fireworks on the 4th of July! OMG was it hot!! I had to take tiny breaks because I thought I was going to spontaneously combust! I jumped the hubby as soon as he walked in the door last night! I wouldn't mind having been blindfolded for Jaxxon.. with Dom-Ness and hotness.. shit the things he does! Just WOW I couldn't get enough of it! I am so ready for Honey's book coming out soon. Climax is a fantastic debut novel by Sexxa Kohl. It’s a touching story of an individual choosing to sacrifice herself for the sake of her mother. Albeit dark, raw and dirty, I found it to be downright sexy as hell and an extraordinary erotic romance.

This book is hot, sexy and dirty and i loved it!
It had me hooked straight away, and I was drawn into the story until the very last page.
Blaire is bustin’ her ass to try and raise the money to care for her mum, Blaire will do anything to save her mom shitty job included but it just not enough, she has to go to extreme measures to help her mom.
Blaire is a great character who is very likable.
Jaxxon is sexy as hell and a little twisted, he has a dark sexual need where his demon comes out to play.
This is not a gentle flowery romance, its dark and dirty in the best kind of way, the writing is so very good and it flows so well your able to just escape into the book for a few hours.
The chemistry between Jaxxon and Blaire is off the charts hot, Blaire seems to feed from the same dark need Jaxxon has so they fit together and the sparks fly. Even though the sex is on the darker side there is a sensuality to it, the connection between Jaxxon and Blaire is beautiful. They complete each and accept each on every level, they are two sides of the same coin.
This book is told from both Jaxxon and Blaire’s POV, which i like as you get a extra dimension to the story from both sides.
Overall i loved this book so i give it a well deserved 4 stars, a good piece of erotica.

Hot, hotter, and scorching is the only way I know to describe this book!! This is the debut novel by Sexxa and I can't imagine it getting any better than this.
Blaire has been leading two lives, stripper by night and the all American good girl by day taking care of her mom. Things change when Mr. R aka Jaxxon comes into the club and knows he wants her in his bed.
Jaxxon is rich, alpha, and oh so HOT!! This book has twists, turns, and left me breathless!! He's never been denied by anyone or anything and Blaire is a true challenge for him. I love their chemistry and the things he makes her feel are off the charts H O T!!!

Having a love hate relationship with this book.
I loved the smutty sex, the taboo (the church mastrubation scene), the bdsm elements.
However
Let's go to the bad.
As I finish this, it was an engaging read- but I'm left with mixed feelings.

from the first sentence I was hooked.
raven was everything you want her to be...a fighter
Jaxxon is just smoking hot
but more than anything the story gives u a little bit of every emotion.
I was happy but fearful at the same time. it was that intense.
