If you love vampire books, this is for you. If you roll your eyes at the thought of a vampire book, this book is also for you! When I started this book, I didn't know the synopsis, I went in completely blind. I must admit, when I realized it was about vampires (and dhampirs) I cringed - I loved Twilight, but I was 16 when I read it. However, Amanda Sinatra far exceeded my expectations in Hollow. It blew my mind! It's not your typical vampire love story "girl falls in love with vampire". This story is so different, and there is so much to it. So much suspense, you're just dying to know what's going to happen next, what Ivy will uncover. I highly recommend this book to everyone. This isn't the typical book I go for, but I am so glad I did, and you will be too!

Could not wait for book 2 to be released and oh my goodness was it worth the wait and it did not disappoint. Couldn’t put the book down as each page has you wanting more and more. The book is filled with so many OMG moments and of course, like the first book, had me ending in the last few pages with a giant jaw drop. Absolutely can not wait for #3!!!! Definitely a must read series.

I devoured this. The thrill, the questions that rose, the drama. ALL OF IT.

Who do we trust? Because certainly, I don’t trust a single council.

And that bonus chapter, diving into the next…. WHAT!?

Gypsy reminds me of Edin Sinclair because of her cheer, and excitement, and I loved every bit of her character. She’s a strong favorite.

My heart pulls for Ivy. The innocence that was ripped from her all because of who her family is. Ugh. But she’s badass, and I’m excited to find out her true strengths and see how far she comes.

"Could be worse," pointed out Noella. "Really?" "Yeah, you could be dead." "You're such a delight." I leaned my head back against the cold, stone wall, letting the cool surface ease some of my skin's tenderness. Noella was correct, and it pissed me off even more. Because being dead would mean I didn't have to feel all these emotions, but on the other hand, leaving Ivy behind in this cruel world stabbed at my insides."

Do you like paranormal books? Vampires, dhampirs, etc?

Well look no further .. I have your new favourite book!

This book was absolutely amazing.

I devoured it in a couple of days and I'm desperately waiting for the next book.

I was hooked from start to finish and it had everything I could want in a paranormal book!

I love how badass the FMC is and how she rises from her ashes. She has so much shit thrown on her and she always comes back fighting.

You get:
• Vampires/Dhampirs
• Badass FMC
• Amnesia
• NA
• Multi POV
• Blood Thirsty
• He Falls First

Don't hesitate! Go pick this one up now! Available on Amazon through ebook and paperback.

This book is amazing!!! I’ve never really been into reading and I finished this book in less than 24 hours... I couldn’t put it down! Each chapter got better and better leaving you suspenseful of what was going to happen next. I had to take a book mark and cover the words I hadn’t read yet because my eyes wanted to jump to see what would happen next. At points my jaw dropped because I couldn’t believe what was happening. Amanda is so talented and detailed with her writing. She knows how to get you thinking about the characters and what scenarios could possibly happen next. Every word I read about what the characters looked like to what they were doing in that particular moment, I could vividly picture in my mind. Amanda knows how to keep you on your toes with each chapter! She made this book so easy and enjoyable to read yet hard to put the book down at the same time. Once you start reading it you won’t want to stop trust me. I’m so proud of Amanda for going after her dreams and getting this book published. She put her heart and soul into this book and writing means so much to her. You can tell how passionate she is about this book from the moment you start reading, to the details of the cover, and the Acknowledgments she gives to everyone she cares about. If you haven’t read this book yet you need to!!!!

It took me a while to think of a review for this book, because I don't think there's enough kind words to use to explain it! This book is not one I would typically pick up, if I'm being honest, but boy am I glad I did. This book has the PERFECT amount of action, sci-fi, mystery, thriller, romance, and drama. I loved learning about Ivy's past and present, as well as her fellow characters (friends and enemies alike). Sinatra beautifully wrote this so there's always something going on. There were quite a few storylines going on, which kept me engaged and enticed to find out.

If you're like me, and typically don't go for the "vampire" books, you need to pick this up. It WILL completely change your perception of these books. The author made being a dhampir and vampire feel so natural and out of question. I loved getting lost in Ivy's world. I cannot wait to read the second book in this series to get more of Jackson!

I picked up Hollow soon after it made it's release and I literally finished it in a couple of days! It was just too good to put down. I loved that the author made the character's the way she did, they are very easy to relate to. And some kind of remind me of people in real life. I got to the end of the book and I was pretty annoyed- only because she ended it and I wanted MORE MORE MORE. It couldn't end there. So now I wait patiently (ish) to pre-order the next book in the series, Shattered. I CANNOT WAIT!!

Vampire type fantasy is not usually a genre I've been too interested in in the past. However, this book found its way in front of me, and after reading it I can say that I was pleasantly surprised and genuinely enjoyed my time going through this story. I hope there is more to come!

This book is so great! Hollow left us on that cliffhanger from hell and this one picked up right where it left off. I love that we get Ivy and Jackson's POV in this one. Plus you get to meet awesome new characters and characters from Ivy's past as well. Definitely can't wait for the next book!

What an epic tale! Dhampirs... half vampire, half human. Ivy woke up in an alley, in immense pain. There's a man nearby who introduces himself as Theodore and says he's there to help. She follows him to a cottage in the woods and he explains that he saved her life and she's now a dhampir. She has no memory of her life before waking up in the alley and Theodore tells her it's better off that way.

Theodore brings in another Dhampir names Jackson to help train Ivy to control her hunger. Ivy feels an immediate connection with Jackson but he doesn't reciprocate. He's kinda bipolar when dealing with Ivy and it infuriates her.

She's given a job with other vampires and Dhampirs at a wine factory to help keep her busy. When leaving the factory one day, she sees a missing poster with her name and face on it. She decides to investigate on her own and it brings more questions than answers.

Who is she really? Why does her grandpa have the mark of a lost species? Why won't anyone tell her the truth about anything? Who can she trust?

Major cliffhanger... Amanda, I need more! Please tell me you're busy writing the next book? 😂

I have to be honest - when I look for something to read, this is not usually the type of book that I am drawn to. However, once I read the first few pages, I was HOOKED!

Ms. Sinatra has created an otherworldly, yet oddly familiar, world of intrigue, mystery, and secrets that keep you turning page after page. Her ability to use words to paint a colorful, detailed picture makes this story really jump off of the page and come to life. Her characters are incredibly relate-able as well, and I found myself truly invested in Ivy Lane's situation and dilemma.

Ms. Sinatra's debut book is a wonderful addition to any bibliophile's library. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a well-told tale. There may be other young-adult vampire fiction out there, but this is a story that you can really sink your teeth into. Can't wait for book #2!!

I wrote a review on B&N and I feel like I wasn’t been fair to the book and it’s contents. The first page really caught me off guard. I loved the first sentence. It was enough for me to feel fulfilled enough to shred the pages, create a pulp with them, and use them as fertile compost for my basil plant. Best caprese sandwich I’ve ever made. I did in fact read the rest of the book though to avoid being unfaithful to my reviews, and I had to finish the whole book in two nights because I lost a bet in a game of beer pong. I don’t know what was worse, the two day hangover or the character development in Hollow. As I’ve said before in my other review, I can’t wait to see what comes next in the upcoming books of the series. I really wanted to plant cucumbers after the last frost next spring.

Love this book. It's a vampire teen novel, but told a completely different way. The author captures the true beauty of the setting, as well as perfectly outlining the truth of human emotion and feelings. It's honest, raw, and beautiful. Wonderful Cliff hanger, leaving you craving more immediately, as you can guess what may happen next but you truly have no idea. If you're looking for something new, this is it.

The story intensifies as we learn more from not only Ivy but Jackson and an unexpected person’s perspectives. Everything changes as Ivy becomes a vampire and she discovers things hidden from her both in her past and present. In this secondary installment of the Hollow Series, Amanda Sinatra lures you in even deeper, hanging on every page that even when you reach the end, you will find it has only just begun.

Whether you like vampires or not, this book will attract any reader just by the first page. This is a book that can easily be read in one sitting because each chapter leaves you wanting to find out what will happen next, making this book hard to put down. Like the protagonist, Ivy, there's a sense of mystery that you will want to uncover and because of that, you will be left wanting more

I'm not typically into vampire or dhampir stories. In fact, I haven't read one since the beginning of the Twilight series.

I have to say, I may be addicted to this series. As addicted as Ivy is to blood maybe. I couldn't put it down and am currently reading the second book and about to pre order the third!
