Remember Me
You may think you know the story of Romeo and Juliet but you’d be wrong. My name is Julietta Capulet and yes, Romeo and I were star crossed lovers but not for the reason you’d think. I am Vampyr. Romeo was a Vampire Hunter. It was a line that was never meant to be crossed but we did.
The night I was supposed to turn him, I was seized by my father and locked away, leaving Romeo to die from the poison he’d drank. I was heartbroken and remained so for the next 500 years.
Then Romeo returned. Or at least the reincarnation of him returned. Now all I have to do is convince him of who he is or rather was before I’m forced to marry someone I don’t love and fate rips us apart again.

Remember Me by Charlie Daye is a unique telling of the classic Romeo and Juliet story. I liked how Charlie turned this Shakespearean story into one of the paranormal, with vampires and vampire hunters.
This story is short and a very fast read. The characters are likable and are written with a lot of depth and I felt every emotion right along with them. (I have to admit I was rooting for Antonio instead of Julietta's beloved Romeo/Romero.)
One of the cons (besides the length) is there are a couple times during the writing where instead of just the story being told in Julietta's point of view it seems Julietta talks to the reader and I felt it detracted from the writing.
All in all, I thought this was a cute love story with a unique twist to it. I would recommend it to someone looking for something fast and easy to read.

Remember me by Charlie Daye… I had goose bumps as I read this book. I never did care for the ending of Romeo and Juliet. I always thought that they should have just run away together. Why go through all the trouble of faking your own deaths. Remember Me sets the story straight and gives them a second chance to try to do things right, but of course there are obstacles. Betrayal by loved ones, another man vying for her love, a lover who doesn’t remember, and he wants to protect his loved ones. Julietta is a strong willed woman who will fight for what she wants, even though it could cost her everything.

I must say this Author is amazing. Charlie Day turns a William Shakespeare story into a modern day vampire story with a great twist. Remember me is a unique and very creative story. Due to this being a short story I do not want to give away scenes in the book. The love triangle that is created and chemistry between each character is great. Again the scenes flow easily and smoothly to the next. I want more, so therefore on to the next book my Charlie Day.

Remember me is a paranormal twist on the classic Romeo & Juilet. The novella follows Juiletta, a vampyr, 500 years after her lover (and vampire hunter) Romeo's death. Unlike the original tragedy, this story provides a happy and fulfilled ending. The romance scenes are true to Charlie Daye's style and very descriptive. This would make a great novel with a little more scene development.

I really enjoyed the retelling of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet is actually one of my favorite classics. I enjoyed the twist that the author took on the tale. I was a little disappointed in how quickly the ending came about but the plot was good.

Nice twist to Romeo & Juliet. This story was different and exciting. Their were many twists that kept me reading. I loved the characters! Great book Charlie!

When I read the synopsis for this book, I was extremely excited. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a vampire junky. Remember Me has an added detail for me that had me mentally swooning even before I opened the ebook on my Kindle. This is based on Romeo and Juliet. EEEKKKKK!!! Starcrossed lovers doomed from the very beginning.
In this book, Juliette sets the record straight. For starters, her name is Julietta. She did fall in love with Romeo. They were from different families and their love was forbidden but for different reasons. You see....Julietta is a vampire and her beloved, Romeo, is a vampire hunter!!! *GASP* What a wicked twist to the classic romance.
Well Romeo was willing to give up everything to be with Julietta including his life. Romeo made the decision to become a vampire so he and Julietta could spend eternal life together in love. The night they started the change, everything went wrong. Julietta's best friend betrayed her by telling her father of her plans. Before Julietta could complete the change, her father showed up and killed Romeo. *heart shatters*
Five centuries later, Julietta is still mourning the loss of her one true love. Her parents are fed up with her mourning and set up an arranged marriage for her. Just when you think Julietta might have a chance to find happiness again with someone new.....Romero shows up. He looks exactly like Romeo and it stirs all kinds of emotions for Julietta. Of course, Romero doesn't know anything about the past relationship that Julietta and Romeo shared but Julietta is convinced that Romero is the reincarnation of Romeo. She tries everything to trigger memories for him before the mating ritual is complete with the arranged marriage. Will she do it in time???? Will Julietta get her Romeo back???
I FLOVED this book! Charlie Daye delivered one hot, sweet, and amazing tale. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it. It's well written and you can feel the struggle for heart broken Julietta. And let me tell you, that mating ritual is SEXY AS SIN!!! There is some very yummy sexy in this book! Go 1-click!!

I have had this on my kindle for a while but I finally decided to give it a shot. I just did not enjoy it. I was not a huge fan of Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare. This was just not that good. Juliette was just annoying she did not stand up for herself. She just allowed things to happen and did not do much of anything to change her circumstances.

I tried, but to be truthful I'm glad this was a relatively quick read, I don't think ai would have gotten through it otherwise. This vampyr/vampyr hunter version of Romeo and Juliet just didn't sit well with me
