Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and Abby Knight Salvare and her crew at Bloomers Flower Shop are hard at work preparing for the busiest day of the year. Rumors of a curse surrounding the theater run rampant in Abby’s hometown of New Chapel, Indiana, but she refuses to believe a curse was the cause of Richard’s death.

As Abby digs deeper, she unearths a tangled web of secrets and lies that threaten to close the theater forever. With the help of her husband Marco Salvare, the hunky ex-Army Ranger who owns the local bar, Abby races against time to solve the mystery before the killer strikes again.

As the temperature drops and the threat of a major snowstorm looms, Abby and Marco must navigate their own relationship while untangling the threads of the case. Can they catch the killer and put the curse to rest? Or will the town of New Chapel be forever haunted by the ghosts of its past? I've read all of the books in the Flower Shop Mystery series. While I still liked all of the characters, I found this entry to be less interesting than most. I also caught several word errors. It did not seem to be edited as thoroughly as it should have been. However, as I have enjoyed the series, I am looking forward to the next book due out later this year.

was thrilled to find one of my favorite series a new read. Abby gets involved in a theater production that includes a death- no surprise. lots of suspects. Kate Collins did a great job of keeping me wondering - and I was surprised at the end loved it

Florist Abby Knight Salvare is in the middle of her busy season, leading up to Valentine’s Day and her small flower shop in small town New Chapel, Indiana is buzzing with activity. So how does she have time to investigate the death of a local theater director and owner, Richard Rose? She doesn’t, but Abby can’t resist snooping into this latest tragedy as she doesn’t believe the falling chandelier that killed Rose is an accident.

My thoughts: I compare this book to homemade white bread, not good for you but not necessarily that bad and thoroughly enjoyable.
