When Samantha Kells moves to the tiny village of Serenity to take care of her grandmother, she looks forward to having more time to devote to establishing her children's clothing business. She also hopes the distance will help to ease the painful memory of her husband's death. The last thing she plans on doing is losing her heart to another man.
Then she meets Jake Giddeon, a face from the past, who stirs within her childhood memories of nostalgia, and of loss. As Samantha struggles to build a new life for herself, and for her daughter, Hannah, she must learn to live alongside Jake, the man her grandmother has come to rely on, while denying her own growing desires. For Jake leads a nomadic lifestyle, and Samantha knows that what her daughter needs right now is stability. For Hannah's sake, she mustn't allow into their lives a man who will not be there for them one hundred percent.
The only trouble is, Jake has other ideas.
Return to Serenity was originally published as a People's Friend Pocket Novel.

It was a nice story. A little bit too predictable. Tried to make it a little exciting by introducing what was suppose to be and old girlfriend, but that didn't work.
