A great read! The editor did a fantastic job in assembling this collection. Unintentionally, it is also a window into the not so distant past and what was prevalent and important to readers in 1971. I loved the virtual tour of the world via narrative and the exercise in empathy that only reading can provide. These stories are extremely well written and the themes and ideas linger in the most easant way possible: delicious food for thought. Were this collection a meal it is nutritious and substantial. The kind of fare that you have forgotten the taste of, but from the moment it touches one's palate you remember how nourishing good food is when all you have been eating is junk food. Savir and enjoy this one!
