I am committed to growing in my ability to pray the Psalms and have recently read several books on the topic.
I find many books are really inspiring. Some are a little information-heavy (which is good, we need help understanding and interpreting the Psalms!), but sometimes when I set the book down I wish I felt more equipped to pick up the Bible and pray the Psalms myself.
That's why I'm glad I heard about Praying the Psalms: Experiencing Scripture-Fed Spirit-Led Worship-Based Prayer edited by Daniel Henderson and put together by the team at Strategic Renewal. This book offers a simple yet powerful approach to praying each of the 150 the Psalms.
