Accessible, moving, and engaging from start to finish. Though rooted in the Wesleyan tradition, this is a great primer for Christian theology. The narrative framework is incredibly effective and sets Lodahl up for some really transformative readings of scripture. Will definitely be returning to this one.

This is an amazing piece as Michael surgically dissects God's story into our every day life and opens up our eyes to the very things we consider religious or for a select few only to further realize that this is not just but a story but a gift, prevenient grace for all of us irrespective of who you are or where you've been. Here, no one is better that the other.
The fact it was also dedicated to my school (Africa Nazarene University) is far much than a gift...
