Forget the spelling mistakes, the bad grammar, the bad everything that came to this writing. The story at the beginning started great. The more I read the more the author seem to of lots her head with this one. She literally added every single thing possible to this story. The main plot was solid. Guy in love with wife sister. Guy doesn’t like wife she loves him but divorces him. That SHOULD Have BEEN THEY STORY. Thats it. None one this kidnapping stuff. This revenge stuff. This is how you know this is just someone making it up as they go along. They actually don’t have experience of being a writer. I understand this is the type of content these website are used for. Chapter added a day. But they can still be amazing stories. Don’t need to be rushed. This book can’t be rated it became that bad.
Started out great..it popped up on tik tok and I got hooked. Found it online for free so I continued to read. Felt it was dragged out more then it needed to be. But that being said, I found it decent.
Lol, this sucked. But I thoroughly enjoyed the bad writing, grammar, horrendous misspelling, stupid airy plot etc etc. — all for the guilty pleasure of experiencing deliberate TEAR-JERKING moments, like a deep fried spicy street food that you know is not going to sit escape well.
This is pure and simple CLICKBAIT. You want to feel emotions, perhaps because you are feeling dead inside, or need a sympathy cry, this is where you go!
To start— FL'S Billionaire husband has been in love with the attractive and successful elder sister since the beginning, divorce happens (they have a kid though), nobody loved the FL—she is unwanted by Everyone, then FL's dad dies, bullets fly at the funreal, ex-husband saves the sister, FL gets hit by a bullet but is saved by another guy who is a cop, FL starts cutting off toxic people by becoming bitchy and cold, suddenly Ex-husband is jealous, FL gets a gazillion near-death experience, and blah blah blah....
Where to start?!!! If you’re like me and can’t stop reading a book once you start it, please don’t start this one. It’s a pay by chapter book and the author surely took her glorious time wrapping it up. It’s 370 chapters of repeated boring nonsense. I’m ashamed to say that finishing this book cost me ~$90. IT IS SO NOT WORTH IT! There’s so much inconsistencies, nonsense, typos, errors, contractions, and s**t that I was cussing at myself the entire time. I was choking on the repetition of words and events! If you want a VERY similar storyline that’s better written, try “Just the way you are” by “ Barbara Freethy”. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
No rating. So I started to read this on KU, but have been informed that it was stolen as the author on KU is different. So, I stopped. KU has Sybil Hudson as author, but that's not the original author. The KU version is pretty bad. With lots of errors and parts completely missing that make no sense.
I have to say it started off good, and it was decent read. I do think it dragged out. Honestly how many death experiences could one person face in a matter of months was bizarre to me. I won’t lie at the beginning there were moments Ava’s story was just so sad. But Ava needed a parental figure that spoke to her with love, her obsession when she was younger was not healthy and however she was also very much still a teen figuring out life. And Rowan boy all the love in the world and he was so blinded and bitter. They are both walking red flags, but I did find myself rooting for them. Genuinely the Ethan story line wtf? Ethan was a great character even him being the bad guy was great but that other detail in the story line was just too much. And her family man what a mess they were in the end Ava deserved better than the family she grew up with and I am glad she found Nora and Theo. However, what happened with Emma? Corrine and reaper? There were some loose ends on outside characters. But Even though the story dragged it was entertaining and I was invested. Write clearly has a vision and does her best to develop it and I respect that.

The story was interesting, but it dragged on. There was really no need for as many chapters as it had. One of the characters’ names kept switching between Travis and Trevor. Which one is it?
I also felt like the author kept adding plots to attempt to keep the story interesting! Divorce and hostility between exes, FOUR attempts at murdering someone, an injury leading to amnesia?!? Just too much in one novel.
The book is very good, lots of drama, almost no spice (maybe a kiss here and there but nothing more explicit) It's based on feelings and families. It's a nice change from all the explicit stuff that I find in almost every book that catches my eyes. I cried my soul out for quite a few good chapters (20 or 30 I think) but I loved it. Can't wait to read the books the Author wrote on Gabe and Noah ! I hope there are books based on other characters too! I recommend this book for those that want a change from the usual explicit books and not so much of a feelings type of books that they have in their TBR list of books! I am really addicted to this series and can't wait to read the next ones!

It was average. Nothing to write home about. I am mad the MC forgave Rowan (ex-husband), I honestly don’t think he’s worthy of forgiveness, Ethan should’ve gotten his happily ever after with Ava. I also don’t get how she’s willing to forgive Rowan for breaking her self esteem and can somehow justify not forgiving her adoptive parents when they are one and the same? Both treated her bad and constantly pushed her down, why forgive one but not the other?
I liked the subplots with the gangs and people constantly trying to kill her, it was a little dragged out and I began losing interest towards the end but it’s a decent read.
I thought this book was good at some points but it was too dragged out. I mean seriously how many near death experiences can one person have. I love how Ava was able to eventually standup to her family and Rowan but I think Rowan should've groveled a lot more. Honestly I wanted her to end up with Calvin. Gunner and Noah's relationship is so cute and to find out that Gunner was Emma's kid was shocking at first but after a while it was predictable. I would've rated this book higher if the book didn't drag on unnecessarily.

I will never understand how someone can survive so many attempts on their life, or how the guy spent years without realizing that he loved his wife, while psychologically torturing her. or how she forgave the guy after all that... but we knew she would forgive, the whole point is that it took a while for this and we had almost no romance or sex between them during or after the forgiveness. chaotic but it was interesting to read in free time

MUCHA inconsistencia y errores.

Don’t know why the fuck I read all this but here we are, it was pure trash from the never ending ‘twists’ to the horrendous spelling and grammatical errors. So glad I read the for free, did I used the original app to read it and had to pay I’d be so bloody pissed. The author was clearly dragging it out in every way conceivable to get more money and didn’t even have the decency to reread her work before posting.
It started out so good, I felt robbed with the amount of $$ to get to the very dull and unsatisfying ending, not to mention how long it took to keep going back for the author to post a chaper here and there. I did not feel like the author gave us a good glimpse of Ava and Rowan’s life at the end.. just a very rushed and vague ending.

I thought it was a great book...INITIALLY, she had a good idea of the narrative. But...either she got confused or whatever, because her spelling is atrocious and she has no idea oF the SUBJECTS & PRONOUNS when writing and she changes names indiscriminately!!! the worst is she lost sight of the people who read her. So, it was a pity wasting my time reading EVELYN M.M.
Definitely not my type of romance, toxic af, perpetuates terrible stereotypes, full of cliches and weird scenarios. I didn't like the ML at all and even the FL stressed me out, she was way too "nice" (dumb tbh). I finished it as fast as I could bc I wanted to know how it was gonna end, even though I kinda expected it.
I've read this book before (probably under a different title and perhaps by a different author). The fact that the synopsis doesn't say this is a republication is deceptive. Also, the other book was incomplete, as is this one. Both just end in the middle of the story, as in it wasn't a planned cliffhanger.
Drop, such a waste of brain function. Fl is stupid and ml is iselessly scum like tf she got treat so badly but still he's the end game for her and rowan if u love ur girlfriend u should have control ur dick
The book was okay, very dramatic and chaotic. It did seem to drag on a bit and needs some major editing especially what they charge for it. The cost of the book was ridiculous and not worth but I did finish.
I love the story from the beginning since I started reading it! It made me cry and felt so much excitement as I continue to unfolds about what happened next in the story.
