Seeking a legend is one thing. Claiming him will be a whole different animal.
Wolf shifter and blacksmith Sten Sørensen has been hunting for proof of King Arthur’s existence for a long time. Now that the clues finally seem to be coming together, nothing will throw him off the scent.
All he needs is someone who can confirm the sword’s provenance when he finds it. “I know just the guy,” said his American cousin. “Best metal man in the northern hemisphere.”
Also the most uptight, annoying know-it-all Sten’s ever had the misfortune to want in his bed.

Wolf shifter and forensic metallurgist Guillaume St. George is the best. If some giant Norwegian blowhard wants his expertise, he will have to accept it.
And agree upon a payment as big as his roguish grin. Guillaume is going to need the promise of that reward to remind him to keep this trip strictly professional.
Because if there’s anything that makes him want to roll over and bare his belly, it’s a modern-day Viking on a quest.

Epic romance, two heroes at a time! My story universe features warriors and blacksmiths, rescue swimmers and hockey players, treasure hunters and time travelers, and quite a few shifters. My favorite kind of hero: a grumpy f*cker who’ll do anything for the man he loves.
3.5 Stars. There was a bit of mixing genres here. You have a more sci-fi time travel thing along with fantasy & paranormal. Most of my questions got more or less answered. Still unclear on how
This book is the final tie between the author’s present day series and her historical ones, and while I appreciate the integration overall, but did find it a bit gimmicky in the end. There was a bit of dead time where I believe we were supposed to feel a looming threat from the keepers of the sword, but the characters just kept getting distracted by romance instead with little consequence.
I like these characters and am glad that we will get to see more of them, because I believe there is much of their story still to be told. Really good chemistry overall between them, and I especially enjoyed the scene where the perspective rapidly switched back and forth to show them in opposite rooms pining (wink wink) over each other.
This was a very satisfying end to the Shift & Seek trilogy. In this book, Sten Sørensen and Guillaume St. George join forces to locate Arthur's sword. Set in contemporary times, wolf-shifter Guillaume is a metallurgic expert, working in a Canadian museum, specializing in ancient artifacts. At an unveiling event, he meets Sten, an artifact hunter, who he has previously only worked with online. Meeting face-to-face for the first time, both men are incredibly attracted to each other, but Guillaume prefers to keep things controlled and strictly professional. Sten, who works with a wealthy financier and business partner, is charged with convincing Guillaume to join him on a search for Arthur's sword in southwestern France.
After Guillaume reluctantly agrees to join Sten, the two men begin their methodical search of the area both in human and wolf form. The time spent together is healing and life-changing for both of them. Their romantic feelings heat up and become irresistible. Still both men have major secrets and neither knows what the future holds whether they locate the sword or not. This book has mystery, suspense, danger, passion, and a deep forever love.
This is the only one I’d those series I’ve read but it links with the authors other series about Arthur and his journeys. I truffled with the Arthurian series where the shift came in that series making it paranormal - it just didn’t have the same appeal.
This one sees a blacksmith time traveller (wolf shifter) and an expert in historical antiquities (also a wolf shifter) drawn together. It’s reasonably complicated for my mind seeing how everyone fits and working with the details of the Arthurian books. This was a bit too romancey with not as much historical substance as I would like. And a whole lot of running through the woods.
Still not sure about this series though I enjoy this authors writing.
Enjoyed the characters and the way it wove in other characters from different series, but I think I'm tapping out as it merges with her Arthur series going forward (particularly how it does so, which I'm not revealing for spoilers).
Very much enjoyed this one. Was trying to sort out Sten's truth/history and when the reveal happened.. wow. I wanted to hate it, but didn't. Given my dislike of that particular plot device, that's some damned high praise.
