I want to start off with I was excited for this book. But the more I kept reading the more confused I was. This is what I will say, the plot was there. But it was the execution that was not. Let's get into what I liked and didn't like.
I will start off with what I liked. I truly loved the concept of this book. As a dark romance reader, I love a dark mafia storyline with morally grey MMCs and that is what this book was. I loved every single MMC in this book. This is a why choose and I loved all three of the boys. Each boy has a very different personality which made their relationship with Billie Jean (FMC) very dynamic. I also loved how this was a really quick read.
Ok now let's get into what I didn't like. Like I said I loved the concept of the plot. It has the making of a very great story but it fell flat. There are way too many plot hole. There were scenes where I had to go back and reread because I had to ask myself what exactly was happening. It was like a scene was playing out and then would abruptly end or we would get random descriptions for something that felt out of place. Now let's talk about the timeline jumping which made this book really choppy. The jumping of timelines was really confusing. For example, a chapter would end and the next chapter would start in a different POV from the middle of the previous chapter. It ruined the flow of the book in my opinion. And then we had chapters with a POV that should have come at a later time. The chapter that I am talking about is the one in McGregor's POV when he kidnapped one of the girls. His chapter seemed really random and came before the incident even happened in the storyline because then the next few chapters took place prior to McGregor kidnapping the girl. Do you see where my confusion comes from?
The ending was weird to me. There as no fairytale/magial/fantasy elements to this book til the last chapter when there was someone turning into an old lady making her drink a potion amongst other things. This is a Peter Pan retelling but it felt more like Alice in Wonderland so that was confusing. Can we also touch base on the supposed "cliffhanger" that was extremely emotional that would leave me crying... because my eyes were drier than the Sahara desert. Was the POV in the one who was dying? Yes it was but it was anti-climatic. Billie was kidnapped and they were going to kill her but the chapter just kind of ended. Like what did they do to her? She was confronting McGregor and then next thing you know she's on the ground reliving the positive aspects of her life and the book ended.... only to have an epilogue? Who puts an epilogue on a book with a cliffhanger? That defeats the purpose. Because SPOILER: Billie did not die! She's alive and digs herself out of a grave?
Now let's talk about all of the POVs. Yes this is a why choose so you are going to have multiple POVs which is not the issue. The issue is all of the POV changes MID CHAPTER. At one point one chapter had every single POV. At one point I forgot what POV I was in and at that point I just didn't care because I wanted to get this book done and over with.
And I want to touch on some other factors that made this book hard for me to read. One off those being all the ick words that were used. I should have known better once her vagina was called lovebox. Or their penis's being called zucchinis. And then the OVER USE of peaches and cream. Just no. I will save you from the rest of the words because I would like to forget them. I also hated the over use of Billie's name. Every sentence they used "Billie Darling." It was unnecessary and when I was reading I just skipped right over that word.
Let's talk about the tropes. This book literally has EVERY dark romance trope imaginable. Which to be honest is unnecessary and at some point I don't know why they were in this book. The tropes included: Mafia, arranged marriage, why choose/reverse harem, masked men, hockey player MMCs, OTT jealous/possessive/protective heroes, touch her and die, breath play, kinky awakening, virgin FMC... the list goes on. The MMCs being hockey players was like only mentioned once. Why? It was unnecessary to the storyline. But not only are the MMCs heirs to a mafia kingdom and hockey players but they also own a tattoo shop? I just felt like you only need to pick one of those titles and develop the storyline more in depth. Because at the end of the day I felt like it lacked depth.
There was also a lot of grammar and spelling errors that should have been caught by a simple read through. But also by beta and arc readers. It made things hard to read.
This book was chosen as a buddy read for our book club and all 12 of us had the same thoughts and feelings of this book. Many DNF'd the book. I personally will not be reading book 2. I don't care enough to know how this story plays out.

I just want to start this off saying what an absolute pleasure it was to beta read this for Ellis. I am absolutely in love with this world and all the characters. This is Ellis’s best book to date and I’m so beyond excited for the world to read it! The subtle hints into upcoming books were done beautifully, and have me so beyond excited for what’s to come. I love the different dynamics between Billie, Shadow, Hook and Pan. They all show their love differently and I loved seeing each of them show her how much she means to them.
We meet Billie Jean when her and her cousins are going to Carnival 2023 where she first gets a glimpse of her Lost Boyz. Shortly after she learns that she either needs to get engaged to the Heirs of Neverland Enterprises or the alliance her grandmother needs will be destroyed. If you love dark romance, why choose, dom fmc, mafia, and dark academia, I HIGHLY recommend checking this book out!
I was really excited to read this book, because who doesn’t love a Peter Pan retelling/loose retelling?! However, after finishing the book, I was confused. 😬
Let’s talk about the positives:
I loved the plot! The storyline was there and the college mafia vibes were spectacular! The story had sooo much potential!
I absolutely loved all three men! Pan was so sweet and nurturing, Shadow was so protective, and Hook- ugh love me some Hook! 😍 Billie was also a strong and confident curvy FMC who wasn’t afraid to speak her mind! We love that for her! 👏🏼
I also appreciated the pacing. It was fast paced and an easy read!
And I definitely liked how the spice was spicing frequently as she got to know her men! 🔥
The negatives:
The ending was not a cliffhanger. A cliffhanger is supposed to leave the reader at an absolute loss for words wondering what will happen. The author explained that the ending will include death and the scene will be from the POV of the character who is dying- which it did. However, it was not emotional, unfortunately. It felt rushed and there was so much potential for it to have been emotional, but the scene was lacking those internal thoughts and details! I couldn’t even tell if she was buried alive or just lying on the ground under some dirt, and did she dig herself out or were people helping dig her out, like it was just missing so many details that we needed to fully understand the situation.
I will say, with a why choose book, obviously you’re going to have multiple POVs. However, there were so many changes in POV mid-chapter. AND it switched to the enemy’s POV twice during the book, and that threw me off! I had to keep going back to find who I was reading in perspective of quite a bit which got a little annoying.
I also thought the author tried too hard to include allll the dark romance tropes you could think of in this book. I would’ve appreciated her sticking with a few tropes and really hone in on them, but everything just scraped the tip of the iceberg. For instance, this was a mafia, arranged marriage, why choose. All of those were explained in depth, which I appreciated. But then she threw in that they were hockey players- but only in one scene. And then they only went to the tattoo sho that they owned and worked at once or twice… even though the title of the book is Lost Boyz Ink (INK!!!!) There should’ve been so much more emphasis on the tattoo shop!!!! AND they threw on masks at one point and told her to run through the woods and if they catch her they get to F her, but there was a plot hole here because they had already done that prior, and taking her virginity was the sole purpose of that chase… so there was no need for this scene at all.
The terminology she used for vagina and penis were bizarre and felt immature to me, considering this is a DARK romance. Zucchini, lollipop, love box, peaches and cream, etc… I was at a loss for words when they were explained that way. I just couldn’t.
I also thought it was weird that no magic was involved throughout the book until Dr. Jekyll came in but even then nothing was explicitly explained on how his healing worked. BUT at the end the magic finally kicked in at the carnival and it was just trippy to me. I thought this was Peter Pan, not Alice in Wonderland but we had a kidnapped Alice, Madd Hatter, a ”drink me” cup, etc. and I was just very confused. Which then threw off the ending for me because I was already at a loss for words before she was even taken.
Can we also talk about all of the spelling and grammatical errors throughout?! Some of the errors would stop me mid sentence so I could figure out what she meant. I figured an editor would’ve caught those errors, so I’m not blaming the author for the lack of editing by any means!
Like I said, this book had soooo much potential, but it fell short for me. I may or may not read the next book when it comes out this fall, due to my FOMO. 🤪

It was a privilege to arc read this book! This was such a fun, different, spicy twist on Peter Pan. You get masked men, possessive MMCs, virgin FMC, why choose, voyeurism and so much more. I couldn't put this book down it was so damn good. The motorcycle scene is permanently ingrained in my brain. Same with the Shipwreck Beach scene 🥵🥵 muy caliente! It does end of a cliffhanger 😩😭 but I'm so glad that means we'll see the boys and Billie again real soon!
Billie Jean will do anything for family, especially with danger on the horizon, even if that means becoming the future bride of the Lost Boyz, Carlisle James aka Pan, Vincent Abbot aka Hook & Easton Drakos aka Shadow. The future of Neverland Enterprises. What she didn't expect is to fall in love... with all 3. Pan, Hook & Shadow all have different personalities but work together perfectly. They each bring something different that calls to Billie. Pan is the hacker that steals heart and warms it with love, bringing her comfort. Hook is the enforcer that breaks down his walls to protect the only woman to break them down. Shadow is the leader who wants his shattered heart to love Billie deeply.
This book is phenomenal. It is dark and spicy and has so many different elements all weaved togther to bring us an amazing story.
Billie-Jean is one of the best FMC'S I've read in a long time. She is smart and sassy, and she doesn't take any BS from anyone, but she is also so caring and believes in family above all else, and she is so relatable in so many ways.
Our Lost Boyz are each a little perfect in their own way, but I definitely have a soft spot for Pan 🥰 and when you read the book, you will see why!
This story sets the scen for a whole series of books and we are introduced to some of the characters throughout the books and Ellis has cleverly placed easter eggs thoughout to get us all ssuper excited for whats to come in the pixie hollow world.
This is definitely some of Ellis' best work, and I am so excited to see what the rest of the series brings.
The Lost Boys, Shadow, Pan, and Hook, have to pick a bride and know who they want. Billie Jean has a big decisions to make, the moment she sees Shadow, Pan, and Hook she is attracted to them and has a strong pull to them. They also a want her. When they realize Billie is in danger from Croc assassins they will do anything to protect her. Can they keep her safe and win her heart ? Great character and storyline Highly recommended Amazing Book. I absolutely love Billie Jean, Shadow, Hook, and Pan and their dynamic and character development. Great supporting characters and the world is extensive and diverse. This book has twists and turns and intrigue, found family, sarcasm and humor, and the spice is so good. This book ends on a soft cliffhanger. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
Actually I want to rate it as 3.5. Writing is good but I think this kind of story is abit much as there's trigger warnings. So be sure to read the warnings. Not bad but thought it was good
I thought Lost Boyz Ink was a good book until I got to the ending. It held my interest, I liked the characters and banter, the spice, etc. However, there were a lot of things going on. I felt that the book would take us one way, but end up at a completely different place. The guys own a tattoo shop, take on assignments from their fathers to protect their legacy, play hockey, attend college classes, and now they have to keep their Queen safe. Some things felt like they were skipped over, and could have been addressed sooner, or even explained better. The chapters were confusing at first because there was no introduction to what 'Pixie Dust 24/7' was until several chapters in. I felt that the idea of the college newspaper headlines. I just wish there was more clarification on what it was at the beginning of the book. The chapters that would overlap would contradict what the prior chapter said.
I felt that the book was rushed and the story ended not only as a cliffhanger but made it seem we would have a part two for Billie and her guys - unfortunately, I didn’t see anything online that states that is happening as of yet. I hope we get to have a conclusion for the lost boys and Billie Jean.
With all of that said I would give this book 3 stars, because the plot was interesting, and like I said, I enjoyed the characters a lot. The banter was cute, funny, and of course spicy!
The Spice: 3/5 Character Development: 4/5 Overall Rating: 3/5
Dark Academia? Spicy? Why Choose? Mafia? Tattooed masked Peter Pan based characters? Obsessive/protective MMCs? Did I mention the spice?
Lost Boyz Ink has it all! This was a very spicy, fun read. If you are looking a mafia style loose Peter Pan retelling with lots of fun references to other fairytales this book is for you. Can’t wait to see what happens in book 2!
This just wasn't what I was expecting at all. I was anxiously waiting for this book for a while because I read all things Peter Pan, but I was totally let down. I was told it was a loose peter pan retelling in the Mafia world with no fantasy. Well, it was that until the ending. Then you got fortune tellers with magic powers, werewolves, Jekyll and Hyde magic, etc. It didn't make sense to me. Then I was confused with the whole Pixie Dust 24/7. I had no clue what that was until several chapters in. A lot of it felt rushed, and it left a lot of it unexplained. I lost interest in it about halfway through and struggled to finish it.
I received this book as an ARC. A spicy Peter Pan retelling with masked men, hockey, Why Choose and more? Yes, please! The Lost Boyz have found their bride and their equal in Billie. Together they help each other find love and healing. But, danger is lurking all around and where they least expect it. This is a cleaver introduction to this new reinvisioned fairy-tale world! Mafia meets fairytales and leaves you on a delicious cliffhanger. I'm excited to see where this magical story take us!

What an absolute pleasure it was to be an arc reader for Lost Boyz Ink 🩵🩵🩵🩵 This book brought out all the feels. I laughed & cried it was just such an amazing book. The characters were all so loveable and had their own personalities that you couldn’t pick which one you liked the most. I loved the chemistry between Billie and her Lost Boyz ❤️ and the way they all showed a different part of themselves around Billie was the sweetest thing ever!! The way they loved her and killed for her made my heart melt! 🥰❤️ Billie herself was such an fmc baddie!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I also loved the little hints towards some of the other characters in the book that sets up for more books to come 🩵
Pixie Dust 24/7 (insert Kristen Bell’s voice) 💚🪝👤 🏴☠️👑👑👑 Meet the Princes of Neverland Enterprises, the new Lost Boyz, the Heirs: Pan, Hook, and Shadow have to choose a bride, that they will share amongst themselves. As per decree on their 23rd birthdays, and they know how to play the game. They just weren’t prepared for HER. Billie Jean Darling. (Stevie Nicks has never let her down) and she is one of my favourite FMC ever. Ellis I cannot wait for book two you are a genius and please keep using your gifts.
Say no freaking more! This was amazing! Ellis worth tied in each of the elements or "tropes" perfectly...and with the main FMC named Billie Jean! My god! My favorite thing about all of this is that if you know the author you can totally hear here in some parts of her writing and I truly adore that! Lost boys ink is a mafia Peter Pan retelling ISH.. and if you like mafia and pan, you're going to love love this!
This was a very different reimagining of Peter Pan. Billie Darling was a fun FMC. Shadow, Hook, and Pan were all so unique and I liked them well enough. I just don’t feel like we really get to know the boys very much. It’s different how it has got hints of magic but is mostly a contemporary setting. The rest of the cousins stories seem intriguing. I feel like she’s still finding her “writing voice” but the story was alright. Execution needs some work
OMG I am absolutely OBSESSED with this book!!! Ellis did such an amazing job with this loose retelling of Peter Pan! The plot was amazing, the twist and turns had me on the edge on my seat while reading! My emotions were all over the place I was laughing in some parts! I could NOT get enough of the book!!! I love the dynamic between the main characters. They had me laughing so much with their banter. If I could give more than 5⭐️ I absolutely would!! 5🌶️/5 it was so hot!! Be prepared for the spiciness!!
This is a dark loose retelling of Peter Pan that is a why choose!!

This book follows Billie Jean who is the MFC and follows Hook, Pan, and Shadow these are their nicknames that they go by. Billie is invited to a carnival at Sea island. This is a very private, invite only event. Well she meets three masked men there, who as it turns out have chosen her to be their bride. Billie and her gran are invited to a dinner which is the bride culling, where Hook, Pam and Shadow will choose their bride out of 5 women. What Billie doesn’t know or the other 4 women is that the woman they want has already been chosen and it’s Billie. Billie not thinking she would be chosen as she is a curvy woman. Hook, Pan and Shadow have been training and working to get to this moment of choosing their bride which is a tradition for them and being the heirs to the Mafia that makes up Neverland Enterprise they can’t wait to make Billie their queen. Can Hook, Pan, and Shadow save Billie from the man that is hunting her down who is a rival mafia boss with a revenge plan for Billie and her family.

The Good- I loved the concept of this book and the characters. Billie Jean is such a fun FMC, she is witty and playful but really steps up to be a bad B. I also loved that since this is set in GA I could hear her accent when I read her POV. The MMCs are *HOT*, each one in their own way. The spice is spicy and the characters have great chemistry. This book has a good amount of characters which opens the world up for more books in this world- although there was a lot packed all into one book. (see not so good for more info).
The not so good- From the get go I was confused on the 'Pixie Dust 24/7' blurbs at the beginning of each chapter and wished we got a more clear intro on what it was. About 1/2-3/4 of the way through we had been introduced to a ton of new characters who I was unsure how they fit in the story. This is a Peter Pan loose retelling, while I know loose implies it's not exact we had characters from completely separate stories (Alice in wonderland, Jekyll and Hyde, werewolves) all playing pretty significant parts. It got a little muddy at the end and the ending was very rushed and kind of explosive without much resolve.
All in all I would read more books in this world to find out what happens.
I was so excited to read Lost Boyz Ink. The edging on social media for this book was so good I was literally counting down the days til I would be able to read it and I'm so stinking happy I got the opportunity. I have a weakness for a good fairy tale retelling and one with masked men?> come on now, who wouldn't want to read that ? I had to have it. This book is a spicy twist on Peter Pan and I really enjoyed it and thought it was well written. This book is full of the goods, we have masked men, why chose, possessive men, virgin FMC, and so much more. Its literally a perfect mix of spice and storyline. This one had be laughing and I think I even cried a bit (don't tell anyone) because Ellis' writing made me fall in love with all of these characters so much. I loved the dynamic between Billie Jean, the FMC and the Lost Boyz, the MMCs, Shadow, Hook and Pan. I liked how Billie Jeans relationship with each of the Lost Boyz was different and unique, like she had her own love story with each of them that made each one important in their own right. I wasn't ready for this one to end, but since Ellis left us with one foot hanging over the edge of the cliff I think its safe to say there is more to come. I highly recommend!
This book was my first book by Elise worth and I quite honestly consider her an auto by author I needed the rest of her books like 3 months ago!! This book was a 5/5 Stars & a 4/5 spice. This book Was my second ever peterman retelling /reimagining and the first one was my favorites I’d ever read until this book it truly blew the first out of the water!!! Like come on who doesn’t love a dark romantasy reimagining. It was absolute perfection from start to finish. With love revenge, blood & sex to a why choose with forced proximity, MASKED MEN , HEA, possessive and obsessive Mmcs with touch her & die energy. This itself should wheel you in but if this doesn’t here’s an extra push “We’ll never be the good guys in any story, but we’ll move heaven and earth to make sure she is protected and cared for.” The mix of mafia and a Peter Pan reimagining was just perfect she mixed the two so well!! I can’t speak enough and put into words how much I absolutely loved this book and how much I still think about it. Don’t walk absolutely run The fastest you can to get this on e-book or paperback personally I love my physical copies!! Not to mention that the cover is absolutely stunning & would look amazing on your shelves!!!
I enjoyed this book, however I did find myself checking to see how many more pages I had left because I was getting bored. I normally don’t bash any author’s work, however I found myself thinking there needed an editor for this. It was confusing at times with the ‘Pixie Dust 24/7’ intro and quotes to give a sneak on who’s POV we were reading. I kept getting confused about whose POV I was reading half the time. The main reason I finished this book was because the plot and spice was just intriguing enough to keep me interested. I did find many points where I was like “WTF is going on in this book” There were many tropes for this book which was also confusing, and these guys are supposed to be in college yet they miraculously have time to go side jobs for their parents company, own/run a tattoo shop, and play hockey. Idk about you, but there are not enough hours/days in a year for me to accomplish all that. I’m under the assumption that the next book will have some clarifying details. This more than likely going the supernatural/paranormal route. I will be reading the next one, because like I said I am just intrigued enough to want to know what happens next.
🫠 “We’ll never be the good guys in any story, but we’ll move heaven and earth to make sure she is protected and cared for.”
Holy smokes 🥵 This book was 🔥 Now I’m not typically a romantasy reader but dark romantasy? 😮💨 I think I enjoyed it so much because the fantasy element wasn’t the sole focus and I forgot there was a fantasy element. Such an amazing read‼️ I’m so ready for the next one 😭
👸Billie-future kings of neverland bride 🧔🏻Easton- shadow (leader) protective but also understanding, avenger 🧔🏻Vincent- hook (enforcer) grumpy, ultra protective, secret sweet side 🧔🏻Carlisle- pan (tech genius) sweetest and best with affection
Everything about this book was 🔥 character development, plot, spice, AND they get a HEA 💋 All 3 lost boyz steal a little piece of your heart but Pan is my favorite 🥰

Lost Boyz Ink is the first book in Ellis Worth's Pixie Hollow Series, a dark academia reimagining of Peter Pan. Years ago, the Mafia Kings of the East Coast merged their kingdoms, forming Neverland Enterprises. Since the forming of Neverland Enterprises with every other generation that passes, the Heirs are expected to choose a solitary bride to share amongst themselves. The time has finally come for the future Kings of Neverland, Carlisle James “Pan”, Vincent Abbott “Hook” and Easton Drakos “Shadow" to choose their wife and they have chosen miss Billie Jean. What starts as an arranged marriage of sorts in order to protect her family soon develops into a deliciously dark love story between Billie Jean and her lost boys, that was simply impossible to put down. If your shopping list includes: 💀- masked tatted men 💀- possessive MMCs 💀- Curvy FMC 💀- reverse harem 💀- mafia 💀- domme/switch 💀- touch her and die vibes 💀- voyeurism Just to name a few....
Then welcome to Pixie Hollow ... I give this book 5-⭐️ and 4-🌶 I thoroughly enjoyed it and cannot wait for book 2!
Lost Boyz Ink is the first book in The Pixie Hallow Series which is a loose retelling of Peter Pan. Mix in some mafia vibes and smut to make for a fun ride. We get to learn all about Carlisle James “Pan”, Vincent Abbott “Hook”, Easton Drakos “Shadow “ and their soon to be wife Billie Jean Claybourne-Gable. At the start of every chapter there is a little blurb from Pixie Dust 24/7(a gossip site) that sets the stage for each chapter which I loved. Are you wondering about Billie Jean? Let me tell you , she loves her family, she’s stubborn and has a no nonsense attitude. She doesn’t put up with any of her boyz demands unless she really wants to (wink, wink). If you’re wondering who my favorite Lost Boy is, it has to be Shadow!!! Because….I enjoy the darkness of him. There are a lot of characters that’s are introduced in this book and I love that we will learn more about them in the upcoming Pixie Hallow books.
This was my first true fairytale retelling and Lost Boyz Ink did not disappoint! I have to start first by saying that I am obsessed with Billie Jean and everything about her. She is fierce and hilarious, written and described so well it was like watching someone you know go through life’s trials.
Along with Billie Jean, you can’t help but fall in love with her lost boyz : Hook, Pan, and Shadow. Yes they are as incredible as their names, yes they all belong to Billie, and YES the spicy scenes between the four of them had me meltinggggg. Each boy is perfect in his own way, with his own personality and own special mark in Neverland Enterprises - but truthfully it was Hook that stole my heart, there’s just something about a man in charge!
This story is written so well for the next books to follow, and author Ellis Worth dropped the best descriptions about things and people that you are sure to see and learn about in future books.
I absolutely loved this book and how dark and intense it is, definitely wish I was prepared for all the emotions though, I felt all the feels!
check triggers vibes: serial unalivers masked men mafia why choose pierced tatted fairytale reimagined
this book was hot!!!!! it follows Billie jean who gets engaged to protect her family at all cost. she is to wed the princes of neverland enterprises Vincent (hook), Carlisle (pan) and Easton (shadow). they were all such perfect characters i dont know which i liked better. once they set eyes on her they knew she was their queen. but trouble arises with twists and turns. i am left wanting book two already to see the wrath of Billie occur. 10 out of 10 recommend
fave quotes: Im getting hungry , my darling Billie, dont make me wait too long " " good girls get rewarded" "when darkness comes and all feels lost, my boyz are the only thing that can bring me back to the light" "you've turned what was in disarray into a kaleidoscope of colors" "my hair was tugged and all the zucchinis were licked" (this one made me chuckle)
Billie Jean may be their Queen, but Ellis, you are ours!! Well done!! I loved loved loved it. I cannot wait for more from the Pixie Hollow crew.
These are some high quality, swoon worthy men! Pan, Hook and Shadow. Whew. Oh, spicy spice, just have some spare panties with you when reading.
These three are so willing to try and give Billie Jean everything she needs to make herself comfortable I her new surroundings.
They each want to have their own unique relationship with Billie Jean as well had being in a poly marriage.
They form a strong bond early on and realize that they have picked a force to be reckoned with. Billie Jean values family over everything and the guys are now her family. She shows them she is strong and capable when it comes to defending herself and standing up for them.
This book was chosen as part of a buddy read. I was excited to read a new book by an indie author I was not familiar with. Unfortunately this book fell short.
There were several grammatical errors that could have been fixed with simple beta reads or proofreading. Along with several “icks” that I couldn’t get past.
The over use of the characters name “Billie Darling” had me skipping over it. Throughout the chapters it was hard to follow with the different POVs even within the same chapter and scene. Referring to making love to her “love box” and to their penis as zucchini’s really just felt icky and poorly written.
I DNF’d this book which is not usual for me as I can normally push through anything but there were so many others I would just rather read!
This is a 2 ⭐️ review for me! I hope that the author takes the reviews to heart and that she is able to Improve on her next books.

I am such a sucker for a fairytale retelling! This book was such a fun read. I love the writing style, it feeling basically like a friend just telling you a story. Why choose is one of my favorite tropes, add in the boys being mafia royalty and hockey players, with a masked chase scene! OH YES! Billie Jean and her Boyz are everythinggggg. I loved all their different personalities, and how Billie deals with all of them differently. Also loved watching Billie Jean become a queen, after learning the truth about her Gran and falling for her men. The side characters are so fun too! I can’t wait to read more about them in the future. I also loved that at the start of each chapter you get a little blurb from Pixie Hallows gossip site.
“Maybe something inside of me is broken but I'm not scared of some lame ass masked men in hoodies.”
I had the privilege of ARC reading this book in April. It was a fun read, it’s a Peter Pan retelling. There’s 3 MMCs l, Pan, Shadow and Hook. Hey are set to become the next “rulers” of their family’s “organization” they run and rule the east coast and with every good mobster book you have rivals and their rivals are the Croc Assassins. I was extremely excited to read this book as it was incredibly hyped up on all the social media places. In the beginning I was confused as to who everyone was, and got a little lost. That made it hard for me to actually get into it, but I kept trudging along. There is a lot going on in this book - gram is a mafia boss, grandkids all have hard childhoods, the boys are hockey players who also own a tattoo shop, race cars, & are part of a mafia, someone is out to unalive Billie… After I got over the confusion part, I enjoyed this book. I liked how Billie found her self esteem and confidence, how she helped the boys take off their outer layers so to say, and their relationship. The ending seemed a bit rushed, and was a cliffhanger. I do plan to read more as it is released. I just hope it’s a little more organized and detailed.
