An Outstanding Book
This book was phenomenal with the storyline this author brought to the table. If you love tough, hard women in your stories then Blue Jay/Haven is just the woman for you. At a young age she was trained to be an assassin with uncanny abilities but has nothing else in her life but the people at The Nest who give her various job.
Alpha is a veteran who has tried to live with what happened over seas and now just two years ago his daughter was taken by the cartel and burned to death. His then wife leaves him and he has nothing but to keep up his role as the president of the LA Defiance MC.
Alpha and Haven have a one-night stand that sparks something in each of them that they weren’t expecting and Haven leaves running out of the hotel room. A week later she gets her next assignment, and you guessed it, Alpha is her next mark.
This story was packed full of lies, deceit, suspense, steam and surprises that had my head spinning. What an amazing storyline with some great characters. I highly recommend this book and I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

Okay, so first of all, how does one not read a book where someone is described as ”crazy and unhinged” in the synopsis?? Lol I was already going to devour this book because Osborn is one of my all-time favorite MC writers but reading that descriptor would have sold it regardless!
Notorious begins with a bang and continues banging till the very last book!! It is very action packed and quite frankly, I could not keep up with the twist and turns it constantly took. I was honestly more invested in the storyline than I was in the characters after a while and that’s not too uncommon for me as an MC reader because the plot-points happening outside of the main characters are just as important if not more so at times. This little story packed a suspenseful punch that had me riveted!
Without giving away any plot-points to the story yet still telling you about the book (lol) I’d say this is a story of betrayal and vengeance but also redemption, healing and hope. It’s a story chock full of drama that I can only describe as pure mayhem. It is intense in not just the development of the relationship between Alpha & Haven, but also the Defiance MC. It’s the beginning of a series so there will be lots thrown at you as far as side characters but again, you don’t really have to pay too close attention to that if you’re a true MC romance fiction lover because as Osborn develops this series and you continue to read it, they (the side characters) will all be easier to keep up with. As it mostly always is with this genre. For now, just know that Haven & Alpha are fire in a ton more ways than just sexual! Do with that information what you will! LOL

OMG
Wow, this is one of the best books I've read in a while. Grabs your attention from the start and keeps it through the end. Great characters and an amazing storyline. So many twists and turns plus action and intrigue. Just an awesome book!!!

Oh this was just SO DAMN GOOD. Alpha and Haven had me hooked from the beginning and I absolutely loved their story. My jaw definitely dropped more than once from the twists thrown in and I even cried (I’ve never cried at a MC romance 🤣)
This was a great book and I cannot wait for Mav’s story!

I'm very excited and happy with the start of this new Defiance MC series!! I think Notorious was much better than I expected and exceeded my expectations in many ways: I LOVED the dynamic between Alpha & Haven, the instant chemistry and all the plots that this book offered. Plus, I'm already in love with a lot of the Club members and I'm so excited to read them all, especially Mav, Rip & Noah!
Alpha is the most interesting president of MC Defiance so far, he has a painful past that lets me see everything behind the attitude that we already knew of this character, BUT there are also many details about Alpha that KE Osborn had kept from this character until now, and I really liked reading a different side of him, his personal struggles, his emotional scars and all the pain he carries from his past. Another thing that surprised me and I really enjoyed about him was his personality: his name is Alpha, so we can expect an alphahole, but also an understanding man, who despite he doesn't really know what he feels, he always lets the people around him see how much he loves them and they mean to him.
Haven was also an amazing character! a hired assassin with an interesting and revealing personal story, she's a strong woman, who is not afraid to say what she thinks and show herself as she is, which made Alpha fall in love with her. Haven is one of the best at The Nest, and although she loves what she does, she also goes through a crisis when she is assigned a new case: she begins to question everything she believes in, all the work she has done and her own future within the organization.
Alpha & Haven have one of the best chemistry I have read in this series, their interactions are the most fun, fiery and charming, their first meeting was explosive and from then on I I could tell that I was going to love these two a lot, especially because they both have a very strong personality and yet they manage to understand each other, complement each other, and I love that Alpha finds the peace she needs in Haven, that she sees a different future with him, and especially, a family in all the MC girls.
If you haven't read Notorious yet, I invite you to not read the next points, there are no spoilers, but I think you should avoid this part to enjoy the book and form your own opinion.
Although I really loved Haven & Alpha and the plot of Notorious I also have to say that there were certain details that did not allow me to give 5 stars to this book 💔: first , I think the closure of some situations was a little rushed towards the end of the book, I would have liked to see more of Alpha reacting to the situation in general so I could feel more connected to the story. Secondly, I think what got me most out of the plot was reading one of the characters who gives the most interesting twist to the plot not behaving according to her age and finally, what I liked the least was Haven & Alpha's reaction to Livvy at the end of the book, I think she especially shouldn't have taken sides or had that attitude, particularly because I think Livvy was right, but also because I think she gave to certain character a bad advice and Liv was only trying to protect her.

Estoy muy emocionada y feliz con el inicio de esta nueva serie de Defiance MC!! Creo que Notorious fue mucho mejor de lo que yo esperaba y superó mis expectativas en muchos aspectos: AMÉ la dinámica entre Alpha & Haven, la química instantánea y todas las tramas que este libro ofreció. Además, ya estoy enamorada de muchos de los miembros del Club y estoy muy emocionada por leerlos a todos, especialmente a Mav, Rip & Noah!
Alpha es, hasta ahora, el presidente más interesante de MC Defiance hasta ahora, tiene un pasado doloroso y que me deja ver todo lo que hay detrás de la actitud que ya conocíamos de este personaje, PERO también hay muchos detalles de Alpha que KE Osborn se había guardado hasta ahora de este personaje, y me gustó mucho leer una parte distinta de él, sus luchas personales, sus cicatrices emocionales y todo el dolor que arrastra de su pasado. Otra cosa que me sorprendió y disfruté mucho de este personaje fue su personalidad: su nombre es Alpha, así que si podemos esperar a un alphahole, pero también a un hombre comprensivo, que a pesar de que no sabe muy bien lo que siente, siempre le deja ver a las personas a su alrededor lo mucho que las ama y significan para él.
Haven también fue un personaje maravilloso! una asesina a sueldo con una historia personal interesante y reveladora, es una mujer fuerte, que no tiene miedo a decir lo que piensa y mostrarse tal cual es, lo que enamoró a Alpha y a mi también. Haven es una de las mejores en The Nest, y a pesar de que ama lo que hace, también pasa por una crisis cuando le asignan un nuevo caso: empieza a cuestionarse todo en lo que cree, todo el trabajo que ha hecho y su propio futuro dentro de la organización.
Alpha & Haven tienen una de las mejores químicas que he leído en esta serie, sus interacciones son las más divertidas, ardientes y encantadoras, su primer encuentro fue explosivo y desde ahí me pude dar cuenta que iba a amar mucho a estos dos, especialmente porque ambos tienen una personalidad muy fuerte y aún así logran entenderse, complementarse y amo que Alpha encuentre en Haven la paz que necesita, que ella vea un futuro distinto a su lado, y especialmente, una familia en todas las chicas del MC.
Si aún no has leído Notorious, te invito a no seguir leyendo, no hay spoilers, pero creo que debes evitar esta parte para disfrutar del libro y formar tu propio opinión.
Y aunque si amé mucho a Haven & Alpha y la trama de Notorious también tengo que decir que hubo ciertos detalles que no me dejaron darle las 5 estrellas a este libro 💔: primero, creo que el cierre de algunas situaciones fue un poco apresurado hacia el final del libro, me hubiera gustado ver más de Alpha reaccionando a la situación en general para poder sentirme más conectada con la historia. En segundo lugar, creo que lo que más me sacó de la historia fue leer a uno de los personajes que le da el giro más interesante a la trama no comportarse de acuerdo a su edad y finalmente, lo que menos me gustó fue la reacción de Haven & Alpha hacia Livvy al final del libro, creo que ella especialmente no debió tomar partido ni tener esa actitud, particularmente porque creo que Livvy tenía razón, pero también porque creo que le dio un mal concejo al personaje que Liv trataba de proteger.

As always it’s been a pleasure to receive an ARC of this book from KE Osborn and from Chaotic Influencers.
I stumbled into the Defiance world by chance and KE has never disappointed! From NOLA Defiance to Houston Defiance and now to the LA chapter- she draws you in. Also the fact that the cover models are so attractive helps- and I feel they fit the characters perfectly!
I loved the story of Alpha and Haven and their relationship. I love that Haven doesn’t back down for anything or anyone and that she’s able to find somewhere she truly belongs.
I’m already on the edge of my seat waiting for the next instalment of the LA Defiance!
Well done and I cannot wait for Mav’s story!

OMG, this book was excitement plus! I loved every bit of it and once again found it difficult to think of how things could possibly work out for everyone. I am seriously in awe of the devious mind of this talented author.
Haven is a trained assassin. From childhood, she was basically brainwashed in all the ways to kill and be the best assassin ever. Meeting Alpha, the LA Defiance MC president, by chance one night, she instinctively knew he was someone she could really like. Getting an assignment to infiltrate his MC compound, then, when the call comes in, kill him, wasn’t something she wanted to do.
Alpha had such a disastrous time prior to meeting Haven that he was instantly taken by her refreshing character. To be honest, he’d had things really tough, and Haven was a bright light in his world. She knew she had to assassinate Alpha but also knew she’d have trouble doing it.
The whole concept of training children from a very young age to become assassins is mind-blowing. There’s a lot of action and some heartbreaking moments that, as a reader, you can’t help but feel intensely, too. Likewise, there are some very humorous ones, too. “…Handsy Harry.” 🤣
My mind is still trying to absorb everything that happened in this story. It is fantastic romance and suspense, and I totally recommend this new series to everyone who enjoys quality storytelling with a lot of emotions.

This was an outstanding beginning to a new chapter of the Defiance MC. This is showing what a close knit family they truly are,and how they will do anything for each other.
Alpha is a president with the world on his shoulders and is to proud to put his problems out there for help. When he has done some dumb crap, he meets his future soulmate,and killer, Haven. This brings him to life in a way he hasn’t been since his daughter was taken and presumed dead.
Have or BlueBird as she is known, was sold as a child and trained to become an elite assassin. She meets Alpha after a job, and they have a fun and exciting night,but the next morning they part ways.
They both thought that would be that, but fate brought them back together again.
They went with it even though Haven knew getting further involved personally with Alpha was a death sentence for her.
Haven after talking to Alpha at his memorial wall realizes that the little girl she tried to help, was actually his daughter thought murdered by the cartel.
Havre goes on a mission to get her for him and to bring him some peace. She also found out who put the hit out on Alpha and together they take out the trash and reunite both Heaven and Poppy with their families.
They have a bumpy ride but they are both Ride or Die with each other.

Book one in Osborn’s new LA Defiance series brings readers Alpha and Haven’s story. The pair meet and go on to have what was only supposed a one night stand, however they’re brought together again when Haven, a trained assassin is given an assignment to infiltrate the compound of Alpha’s MC, but when it comes down to killing him, it’s something she finds herself unwilling to do.
Both have gone through their own personal version of hell, when he was in the military Alpha lost brothers, then later he lost his daughter to a rival gang, as for Haven’s she’s unable to remember what her life what like before being trained to become an assassin, only remembering the hell she’s had to endure.
Theirs isn’t an easy story, but it’s one worth reading. Action packed and filled with equal amounts of steam, suspense, truths and betrayal. It’s one you don’t want to miss, I for one can’t wait until the next book in the series.

What an amazing book this was. So, so good with so many twists and turns that will blow your mind. This was a great start to a new series and I am so excited for future books to come. My heart truly broke for Alpha and his ex wife Livvy and all they had to endure but when he discovers the manipulation that was surrounding him he certainly lived up to his name. So much drama and action happening in this book but the unexpected twists had me on the edge of my seat. I have read a few books from K E Osborne and I have enjoyed each and every one and this was no exception. Did not want to put this book down. Give this a go. You will not be disappointed.

What a book!
This was my first time reading K.E. Osborn and boy, did it get me in a chokehold from the beginning.
I was reading, and I was, “Wait... What!? No, it can't be!?” And it started right at the beginning, and you stay at the edge of your seat biting your nails.
I was so anxious, and nervous for the characters, and just wanted to kip reading, I could not put this book down because I needed to know what was going to happen.
This book is the story of Stone “Alpha” Landry and Haven “Blue Jay” Cadell.
Alpha is an ex-military that is the president of an MC and Haven is a contract killer, and their paths get intertwined after a one-night stand.
Haven is just an amazing character, strong and ruthless, but with a soft heart underneath.
Alpha is damaged by the traumas he has endured in the past 11 years of his life, and you can feel his pain and guilt that consumes him all through the book, and you feel so sad and just want to hug and squeeze him tight.
The banter between Alpha and Haven is just hilarious, and she is the ray of light that Alpha needed in is darkness. And they are so hot together, OMG they are fire, you can feel the tension between them, it’s really H.O.T.
This is a very angsty book and keeps you on edge, which for me is just perfect, because I love to feel my heart squeeze and my stomach knot. And I also loved the plot twists, that you keep getting hints, but you think “No… It can’t be… Can it?!”, all through the book.
For me, it was definitely a 5 stars read, and I can’t wait to read the next one!

I love all of the Defiance books. They are edgy, balanced and great MC reads. The LA new one, however lost its appeal. I'm hoping it wont be that way in the new one soon to be available. So what was different. As a couple, Alpha and Haven fit together, but I felt like they were together because they both liked the violence and being tough guys. Her backstory was too coincidental that she was the older sister of Chloe and Mav, and it was too coincidental that they joined LA from NOLA. Almost to much to be believed. I also though the fight with these elite assassins at the Nest was underwhelming and way too easy. How did they have this fight and not attract any other members? And then to drop the whole bad guy back on his military snafu went too far for me. I just didn't care for it but will next one when its out as you normally cant go wrong with Defiance.

Alpha went to hell and back. He suffered because of selfish people. The absolute evil that befell his little girl. What she endured was horrific, but also prepared her to be stronger to face life head-on. The plus for Alpha is having met Haven. She has a few surprises up her sleeve. Will they be able to deal with it? Will they get their HEA. And I see we have a new nuisance by way of the cartell. Just like Connie and the Bachelors. Oh what intricate webs you wove miss Osborn. You are a true MC author. Don't deviate from this path. Exquisite story. I can so absolutely recommend it

The start to this new chapter of Defiance leads with a bang and the action doesn't really stop. The NOLA members that come to LA make this a fantastic transition. The storyline interconnects the various characters and their individual stories so well. Great MC read and eager for more of LA.

Ooooo! Boy do we get a good story here. Alpha has had a a hard time of late, the last mission he was on in the military did not have the outcome it should have. He daughter is gone, he's divorced, and doesn't know how to ask for help from his brothers. Then we have Haven who meets alpha after a job, then he is the job. Secrets come out and all he'll breaks loose, and we have pigs named after Mexican food. All around good time! We are Defiance!!💙💚

As I dived in I was instantly catapulted into the fast-paced, hot, gritty and emotional world where Alpha and Haven and the rest of the L A Defiance get me on the edge of my seat, I am excited to see what comes nexts.

I need tequila shots and a cigarette after this. I wasn't expecting anything that just happened, K.E Osborn just blew my mind, and Alpha's story just blasted its way to #1 in my heart. I love all of my Defiance brothers, but Alpha just grabbed a hold of my heart and is still clutching it. There are the usual cast of rowdy brothers, strong women, unexpected rays of sunshine in the dark, and glimpses of the future, but this story is all about Alpha and redemption.

Who is Haven? Where is she from and where do we find her? Who are Gates and Landry? What do they do for a living? What happens on the job? Who is Alplha? Who shows up in LA? I had to bite my bottom lip when I learned what happened to Poppy and why at 35% of the way into the story, I had a HUGE Oh.... My....Gosh... moment when we see Haven go back to town. Boyo does this book get intense when Haven turns on her job and goes against the company. You have to read and see what happens. Enjoy the story! I did.

Get ready for what is going to be a damn brilliant series! KE Osborn has reeled me in once again with Notorious. From the very first page I knew it was going to be great. Haven and Alpha's connection is off the charts. They are both feisty, fierce and are not fussed if they break furniture in the bedroom.😉 These 2 are going to make one heck of a team and a force to be reckoned with if anyone tries to cross them. I need more LA Defiance and can't wait for book 2! 🖤💜🖤
