Exquisite Death is the third installment of the guilded sovereign series, we were told it was going to be Dark, Twisted and steamy, my favorite combination. If I had to give three words to describe this book the description would be spot on, because my god, I absolutely lived for it.
Tarian is cold and brutish who keeps everyone at arms length. Grecia is strong, fiesy and doesn't give up easy.
I loved them both so much.
The chemistry was palpable, steam intense. I felt every single emotion, I couldn't put it down.

This dark and twisted read made my heart extremely happy. It's a must read and 100% recommended.

"Exquisite Death," the third installment in Dani René's Gilded Sovereign Series, plunges readers into a dark and tantalizing world where family legacies and forbidden desires collide with explosive consequences.

Tarian Calvert, burdened by the notorious Calvert name in the secretive town of Tynewood, makes a bold decision to sever ties with his family's dark legacy. Determined to forge his own path, he finds himself unexpectedly entangled with Grecia Birchwood, a woman who challenges his resolve and ignites passions he never thought possible.

René's narrative grips readers from the outset with its raw intensity and complex characters. Tarian emerges as a conflicted protagonist, grappling with his identity and the weight of his family's sins. His journey is a visceral exploration of redemption and desire, set against the backdrop of a town steeped in secrets and betrayal.

Grecia Birchwood serves as a captivating counterpart to Tarian, her strength and vulnerability drawing readers deeper into the intricate web of deceit and passion. Their relationship evolves from a platonic partnership into a sizzling affair fraught with danger and forbidden allure, adding layers of suspense and emotional depth to the storyline.

The author excels in crafting a dark, atmospheric setting that enhances the novel's tension and mystique. Tynewood becomes more than a backdrop; it becomes a character itself, shrouded in shadows and teeming with whispered secrets that threaten to unravel Tarian and Grecia's newfound connection.

"Exquisite Death" is not merely a romance but a psychological thriller that delves into the darkest corners of desire and the consequences of defying fate. René's prose is richly evocative, evoking a sense of urgency and intrigue that compels readers to devour each page eagerly.

Furthermore, the novel's exploration of familial legacy and personal choice adds a thought-provoking layer to the narrative, challenging readers to contemplate the limits of loyalty and the price of freedom.

In conclusion, Dani René's "Exquisite Death" is a gripping addition to the Gilded Sovereign Series, delivering a potent mix of dark romance, suspense, and intricate character development. It's a must-read for fans of steamy, provocative storytelling that doesn't shy away from exploring the complexities of love and sacrifice.

I just finished reading Exquisite Death, Tarian and Grecia’s story.
My heart broke for Tarian. I could feel his pain and heartache.
Yes that’s how good Ms. Rene is with her writing. Her words come to life.
His sorrow is so strong that it’s the driving force when it comes to his personal life.
Wanting and craving Grecia. But the anguish in his heart and soul is leading him more into despair.
I can’t tell you how much I admire Grecia. That girl is strong and brave. Generous in her feelings when it comes to Tarian. She’s sassy and feisty. Gives as good as she gets. And then some.
Her and Tarian have incredible chemistry together.
The sexual tension that is between them is practically a living entity. Powerful and intense.
Their bond of friendship has also been there. And it becomes stronger and more profound with time.
I loved seeing that. Building an intimate relationship based off friendship is all consuming for me.
Because as I'm reading the story I’m wondering if they may possibly ruin a wonderful friendship.
While still rooting for them to develop something more special.
Grecia and Tarian do have a gripping bond between them. But it’s more than just their friendship.
She understands his pain and the broken boy inside of him. She feels and understands him.
Grecia sees beyond what he shows on the outside. She embraces him. Brokenness and all.
"Aren't all broken things more beautiful because of the light that shines through their fractured pieces?"
I loved that statement from her. It sums up the kind of young woman she is. While letting Tarian also see that he has so much good in him as well.
After finishing the book. My mind is reeling.
Im excited and looking forward to more of what is to come from The Gilded Sovereign series!

This was so good. It's been a hot minute since I've been in the Sovereign world. This was Tarian's story and let me tell you that you could just feel the pain, loneliness and so much anger pouring off the pages as he learns the truth about his eff'd up family life.

“𝓐𝓻𝓮𝓷’𝓽 𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓫𝓻𝓸𝓴𝓮𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼 𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝓫𝓮𝓪𝓾𝓽𝓲𝓯𝓾𝓵 𝓫𝓮𝓬𝓪𝓾𝓼𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓵𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓮𝓼 𝓽𝓱𝓻𝓸𝓾𝓰𝓱 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓲𝓻 𝓯𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓮𝓭 𝓹𝓲𝓮𝓬𝓮𝓼?”

Grecia has crushed on Tarian ever since she was a little girl and when the opportunity to help him discover about his family she’s all to willing to help. They both are throughout the discovery, are fighting their attraction to each other, so how much will it take before they cross that line?

I love being in this world, so many secrets, lies, meetings behind closed doors, betrayals...you don't know who to trust. I can't wait to see what Dani has coming for us next.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

This is the third book in The Gilded Sovereign Series. It is the story of Tarian and Grecia. He is a member of the Gilded Sovereign and he has brooding down to a fine art form. He is ruthless and troubled and one mission to find out the truths of his past. His families full of lies and he needs to know the truth of it all. Grecia is his friend since childhood and she stays by his side always. I loved her she was spunky and sassy and gave as good as she gets when she needs to. These two have a beautiful connection that will leave you handing on every word in this book. Full of twists and turns and a whole lot of mystery this book will keep you on your toes.

This is the third book in this phenomenal series, and this is Tarian and Grecia’s story.
Tarian belongs to the Gilded Sovereign, and he is ruthless and troubled, while focused on finding out the truth about his past. Grecia is sassy and feisty, and she has crushed on Tarian since childhood, and she is there to help him on his journey of discovery.
This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with secrets, lies, betrayal, revelations, witty banter, trust, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, unpredictable, tragic, and dark addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Exquisite Death, the third book in the Gilded Sovereign series is full of twists and mystery, which kept me glued to these pages.

Tarian Calvert and Grecia Birchwood have known each other for years. Being friends for that long, feelings have started to surface but they've never acted on them. When Tarian goes in search of answers, Grecia is happy to go with him. Tarian feels broken and unworthy of love, but maybe he can show Grecia that he is worthy of her.

A lot of things happen throughout. Lies. Secrets. Betrayal. This book has it all. I have loved getting back to Tynewood and the Gilded Sovereign. I really hope this isn’t the end we see of the Crowns.

The story of Tarian and Grecia is one that will keep you on your toes, known each other for years but never moved to the next level for their own reasons. I love when the female characters are strong on their own and stand up for what they believe, this story was filled with just that. Their story takes us on a ride full of twists and turns along with mystery and chaos all tied up in a book you won’t want to put down. Each of these books are standalone reads in a series but you’ll want to read about each of them to get the complete experience.

"The dark, twisted, and steamy third instalment of the Gilded Sovereign Series!"

We've waited so long, but what Ms. René delivered is oh so satisfying!

Grecia, what an amazing young woman. A woman who may just be strong enough for troubled Tarian!

This is a story you won't want to put down once you pick it up! Unlike the first two in the series, this one, you can do just that!

Get ready for quite the ride! Ms. René's rollercoaster has all the drops, twists , turns, and uphill's that are exhilarating!

It's been a while since I've indulged in a Dani Rene story and I forgot how fabulous her writing is. She has a way with words that's pure magic and never fails to suck me in completely. In Exquisite Death she weaves a tale of secrets, betrayal, suspense, drama, angst, high heat, and passion. Her characters are fabulous and I couldn't help but experience all their emotions right along with them. I was on the edge of my seat through the entire book and I didn't want it to end.

The third book in the Gilded Sovreign series is packed with twists, betrayal, and steam. Grecia and Tarian are friends who are attracted to each other—I love the push & pull between them. Grecia is no doormat and even in her vulnerability, she has standards she won’t change for a man. The plot of this secret society story dropped a few turns I definitely wasn’t expecting!

I loved every single word, it kept me on the edge invested in these characters that have so much intensity in them and I could feel everything.

Tarian Calvert belongs to the Gilded Sovereigns, he is ruthless, troubled from his past and needs truths that cover up all his family lies, and one woman stands beside him no matter what, his childhood friend Grecia and let me say she is no pushover when it comes to this beautiful man.

They have a connection like no other, the banter the feels and steam coming off these two will light you on fire. I loved their story so much it was phenominal and once started I couldn't stop.

Yet again this author blows me away with her words! I love this series and this third book just proves why. Its mind blowing, heart wrenching, keeps you on the edge of your seat, and totally brilliant. Tarian is one of the Gilded Sovereigns, with a dark past. He feels he’s broken and can never love or be loved. But with Grecia, a childhood friend, he feels maybe he can have what all his friends have, love. He will have to prove himself to her and will do anything to show her that he is worthy of her. Grecia is a strong female character who you can’t help but love. While she may have feelings for Tarian, she refuses to let him walk all over her. This story is so much more than two people finding each other. It’s about a tumultuous journey that has mystery, murder and mayhem all rolled into one perfect story. If ever there was a series to read, this is most definitely it! Absolutely phenomenal!

What a read between Tarian and Grecia! These two have been on an extremely long road together, looking for answers and dare I say each other? Both have had a crush on each other for years, but Tarian believes he is too broken to fully commit to the one girl he always wanted. Their quest for answers takes them all over but his one constant in all of it is Grecia. Absolutely beloved this read and series!
