The Book of Small Changes: A flash fiction I Ching

Rate this book
Sixty-five very short stories. The Book Of Small Changes takes its inspiration from the wisdom of the Chinese I Ching, replacing those ancient fortunes with new where the sea mourns for those it has lost, where encyclopaedia salesmen weave their accidental magic, and where the only true gift for a king is the silence of snow. Tim Stevenson is the winner of the 2013 National Flash-Fiction Competition and his stories have previously appeared in the anthologies “Scraps” and “Jawbreakers”. This is the first collection of his work.

A lovely, surprising, magical series of tiny stories set to the 64 (plus one) hexagrams and accompanying text of the I Ching. Take your time with these. They are worth savoring! So very recommended!!
