I love it when Frankie time travels to the past, and we see life in different eras, especially with the interesting interactions he has in them. I do find the new Good Guys' arc ends up breaking through my suspension of disbelief (time travel: fine, MC lucky as hell: standard trope) because it is a vast organization using huge underground facilities that apparently have gone completely unremarkable by locals as they were created. Not to mention that governments really hate independent organizations operating within their borders to ends that may not always match their own objectives. That being said, there is a lot of fun along the way, so I'll work a little harder at suspending my disbelief.
I’ve really enjoyed all of Mr. Vall’s books. I eagerly await every new release. I don’t know how he does it. There’s always good plots and good character development along with the perfect amount of spice without being over the top. Between Time pirate and backyard I’m a very busy reader!
It's a wonder how pirates get anything done if they keep fighting among themselves. Love can conure all but evil is hard to beat. I hope you lime his series I sure do.
