Bakkian Chronicles - Short Stories contains two short stories set in the magical kingdom of Lentari: Disneyland Debacle and Winter Wonderland.
Disneyland Debacle is a 5,000+ word short story originally included in the Lyndsey Roughton anthology. Steve and the Bakkian Chronicles gang try to take a much needed vacation at the happiest place on earth: Disneyland! However, things don't necessarily go as planned when one attraction malfunctions with hilarious results!
Come join the fun and see who is tricked into going on a high speed roller coaster! The Disneyland Debacle is (loosely) based on semi-sorta real events. :)
The second short story is entitled Winter Wonderland. It is a 7,200+ word story that was written as a Christmas present to the fans!
Can you imagine the king of Lentari on the back of a snowmobile? Can you try and guess what is going through the queen's mind as she steps foot inside a bustling mall? See for hilarious antics for yourself as Mikal's parents visit the "Kingdom of Idaho" for the first time ever!

I don't generally read short stories as I read very fast and they are usually over before I think they've started. But I love the Bakkian Chronicles, so I gave Mr. Poole a chance and he gave me these gems in return. Having lived with in Orlando and worked at Disney only made it better.
I am STILL desperately searching for this book to read. I loved Poole's Bakkian Chronicles and cannot find ANY of the three short stories connected to this series to read. Even more frustrating is the "Search For Red Oskarlisk" is referred to several times but was never published and is now lost to time. :(
