About the author

John Eckhardt is overseer of Crusaders Ministries, located in Chicago, Illinois. Gifted with a strong apostolic call, he has ministered throughout the United States and overseas in more than eighty nations. He is a sought-after international conference speaker and has authored more than twenty books, including Identifying and Breaking Curses, Prayers That Rout Demons, Prayers That Break Curses, Prophet, Arise!, and God Still Speaks. He also produces a weekly television program, Perfecting the Saints. Eckhardt resides in the Chicago area with his wife, Wanda.

For someone that calls himself an apostle, this book is very disappointing. Eckhardt shows little biblical understanding and transfers a lot of Old Testament verses relating to Israel as if they would speak about Christians and demons. He makes lots of outrageous claims, such as that hurricanes are caused by fights with demons.

This is an eyeopening book! Too many churches shy away from the topic(s) of demons and the spiritual realm. If we truly took Ephesians 6:12 to heart we would know that we MUST combat and throw out the spiritual forces in our lives and the lives of others.

It’s not everyday that I hear about spiritual warfare and it’s impacts on a believer in Jesus Christ. However, John Eckhardt provides some detail descriptions of the demonic forces that are prevalent in this world and how we can use the tools in the manual to defeat the tactics of the enemy. One big thing I took away from the book was that Christians have demons influence in our lives. Yet we as believers are so oblivious to it because we are born again. Yet we forget that in our soul (mind, will, and emotions) we may suffer from generational curses from our ancestors such as alcoholism, addiction, idolatry and many other things. Yet we are in so denial as believers that we don’t take the time to research and look at our fa July history to see if things have been passed down to us. Great book and highly recommend it.

This took my breath away as it addressed so many things that have plagued me coming out of emotionally abusive relationships. Too many Christians dismiss spiritual warfare, but John Eckhardt provides verse after verse supporting his theory that demonic spirits can and do afflict us today. This book is so comprehensive that I started reading it a second time and then gathered two others, and we're now reading it through as part of a Bible Study. Even after reading many parts for the third time, I still find new revelations. It's a deep subject, but there is so much freedom once we grasp and learn how to battle it as Jesus did.

Great read!! Very informative regarding spiritual warfare and deliverance. Ton of scriptures and knowledge on operations of curses, spirits, spiritual animals, prayers, different levels of praise and so much more. Explains it to you on a simple level. Provides scriptural and historical context and everything. Definitely a good read for the person that wants to learn about spiritual warfare and deliverance from demons. John Eckhardt is like the go-to kind of person. Learned alot from him with this one

This is the worse book ever. It doesn't give outside information. "If you suffer from depression, you must be demonicly possessed." I find this book ignorant and laughable.

the author is full of crap. he is possessed of evil spirits...
acupuncture is not Chinese witchcraft allowing evil spirits into the body; also not occult.

teddy bears are not ungodly spirits for children.
