This book was a good story, but kind of for a younger age than me. Amy is really nice and when she saw that the lady that lost her puppy was so sad, she knew she had to help. In Santa Vista, everyone is afraid of Marge Sullivan and thinks she's mean, but Amy learns that she's really nice and she cares about a lot of people. My favorite part was when Ellie was trying to make her grandma's parrot sing. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes animals around age 6-7.

These are perfectly age appropriate for 7yo self readers! My 7yo is above grade level at reading so I definitely put this as a second grade book. The words and concepts are good for her to grasp. We read this 3 in 1 together, but she could read them alone. A great precursor to tween babysitter’s club books!

I read these three stories aloud to my daughter. She enjoyed them all. However, she would have liked to know who adopted the bunnies.
