It was a very interesting book. This book was all about poetry. It reminded me of my sister as she also writes poems sometimes. This book was funny as Boris was kidnapped. It also had a mystery surrounding the competition where Boris was. This mystery was solved by my two favourite characters in this book that is Creepella von cacklefur and GERONIMO STILTON. I rated it five stars as It was very funny and mysterious. they were lots of clues and it helped me to also figure out what was going on. My favourite poem of all was Phantom's tale by Boris Von Cacklefurand also the rap by the creepy crew. This book inspired me to write poems too which didn't turn quite well. the person who kidnapped Boris as quite a surprise I actually kinda expected it but the secret behind the kidnapper really shocked me

okay wait so… creepella wrote a book in the third person, describing how all the movie directors want her to star in their films because she’s so perfect and beautiful, but she refuses because she does not want to be an actress (she’s too busy solving mysteries). righttt okay my ‘not like other girls’ phase (or whatever you want to call it) is starting to make a lot more sense

also the poetry in here was abysmal. like yeah I know it’s a children’s book but you couldn’t try at least a little bit…? no wonder I had no interest in poetry for so long 😔 one of them is a parody of Poe’s The Raven, and they still didn’t make it good!! not even remotely!!! anyways

(also the portrayal of the two ‘rapper’ characters was… erm, a little dated. like yeah give the mice locs and dark fur, great, thanks. glad you’ve painted that picture for us that isn’t at all stereotypical. call me woke or whatever but it left a bad taste in my mouth)

ALL THAT SAID it was still alright - quite nostalgic, naturally. and a really easy read (literally read it standing in my kitchen over like 20 minutes). interesting to see what little me enjoyed reading and why…

My K needed to read 10-20 a day and HP was too much and I was sick of story books!!

I found these and they are perfect. He can find his sight words and sound out a lot!
