This book is exactly as described, which is wonderful. While I didn't use this devotional in the mornings, I still found the passages timely and uplifting. If you're looking to grow in your walk with God, I recommend this book.

I’ve been reading a JM daily devotional each year for the last couple of years and I always enjoy it. I appreciate her blunt take on scripture and what you’re “supposed” to take away from it.
That being said, since I’ve read many of her books now, some of her thoughts are a little repetitive, so I took off one star.
