Love love love the chemistry between Tobias and Jocelyn; yes he's an alpha Dom, but the way he's written is realistic, with realistic dialogue you'd hear every day, not that corny cheesy stuff I've read in other books. Tobias has offered to save Joce's diner on one condition, and of course she's against it, but eventually goes along with the arrangement. But as we get further along in the story, strange things are happening to Joce that she can't understand or explain. And that is what makes this novella more than what you'd expect: you get the mind-blowing sex, the confusion and reluctant acceptance on Joce's part, but add to that past lives and you get one intense story.
Glad I found this series, but slightly pissed that I still gotta wait a week for the last book lol.
