didn't read it in french, but translation as The Maze with illustrations by Dali, a great book told in a simple style. the conclusion or the explanation of the mystery is surprising, but hints are given.

I watched the Richard Carlson film of the same name a few months back and really enjoyed it. So, I thought I would check out the source material. The book and movie had lots of differences, but the story was essentially the same, and I really enjoyed both. The sense of atmosphere is excellent, and even through I knew how the movie ended, I was so, so curious to see how the book did. Really interesting read.

The mystery intrigued me, the characters drew me in. But the reveal of the secret of the maze was very disappointing. Be prepared for a silly ending.
