As a first attempt at self publishing my advice would be to re-read and get a good editor.

The characters were extremely flat and one dimensional. The shifts in POV were non existent. There were grammatically and spelling errors abound in this book, all of which would have been caught by a half way decent editor.

The story line didn't flow well and the characters were contradictory of themselves.

Concept, not horrible. Execution, not great.

Keep trying :) You improve by writing and writing more.

★★½

Story seemed to drag on forever, editing errors were minor but increased as the book progressed. I did like the way that both MCs were receiving treatment for their mental health issues instead of relying on unhealthy and unsafe coping methods. Not a fan of the communication breakdown or misunderstanding that could be easily cleared up by communicating tropes.
