Hi, there! I'm Lee Strauss, (formerly Elle Strauss) USA TODAY Bestselling author, known for the acclaimed GINGER GOLD MYSTERY series as well as other cozy mystery, sci-fi, sweet romance and young adult.
You’ll find more information about all of my series by heading over to my official website leestraussbooks.com. See you there!
I read this set QUITE a while ago (as well as the rest of the series); back then, I didn't write reviews because I didn't think anyone would care about my opinion. After all, I like things others don't and vice versa. Anyway, this storyline was the first I'd read of time travel fiction novels and I loved it, and the concept, so much that I actively seek it now. I thoroughly enjoyed the mix of fictional story with historical settings and characters. And I thought these books were really well thought-out and executed. I liked the recurrence of characters, as well how a new major character was introduced later in the set. I must admit that I'm hoping the reason for a sale on this set now means that maybe a new installment in the series is on its way? I would love to read more about Casey, Adeline, Nate and all of the characters they encounter in the past!
I have read most of the books in this series. This is actually the second time I’ve read them. I really enjoy them. I wish there was more explanation and depth to the series. This is easily a page turner but I find myself getting frustrated also. Some stories drag on but this one seems to cut too short. I would’ve liked to have been taken deeper into the characters lives. I want to know more about what happens. I will definitely look for more by this author.
Interesting take on time travel etecetera. CLOCKWISE: A young adult time travel romance. (The Clockwise Series Book 1) CLOCKWISER: A Young Adult Time Travel Romance (The Clockwise Series Book 2) Like Clockwork: A Young Adult Time Travel Romance. (The Clockwise Series Book 3) Counter Clockwise: A young adult time travel romance (The Clockwise Collection Book 4) Clockwork Crazy: A young adult time travel romance. (The Clockwise Collection Book 5) CLOCKED: A young adult time travel romance novella companion to Clockwise. (The Clockwise Series Book 6) ; also received copies could review if wanted to, but since review everything I read....
*Note on Amazon shows #4 here as #6, don't know what that does to order of books, think it put #4 on goodreads so pushes #4 there to #5 here and then #5 to #6 here instead, the book in question is the only novella
Great series! Casey & Nate, how they come together, travel and become a unit. The love and compassion that have not only for each other but for the entire Watson family and extended. Tim finds his way and finally matures, while unexpected but welcomed. He sees that family and others are more important than his selfishness. How all of these lives and stories within the family helps bring the parents back to being a family again.
Adeline's visits are great and the relationships be builds. Early on in her story, I felt that the elderly neighbor would come to be very important!!! Mrs. Bradshaw you are wonderful!! Poor Howard, you knew he would have issues. Marco and Adeline finally come together, just awesome.
Travel back and forth between times. Occasionally taking someone else with you. Hide this experience from everyone bc... I have to question the 1860s scenarios, the episodes are questionable. Actually only read the first book and part of the second. The first book was fine but the second was a rewrite of the first, enough was enough.
This is an interesting series. Time travel has potential from the beginning, and this one does some interesting things with the idea. Two of the three stories are directly connected and the third is a similar storyline.
I really enjoyed these quick easy to read books. The plot and characters were good and the books easy to get into. I got a few free and paid for the rest of the series. I enjoy books I can share with my kids.
Another enjoyable book in the Clockwise collection. I read the first two and really enjoyed them. This one doesn't disappoint. I recommend this series.
