Schon als Kind war ich fasziniert von Geschichte! Eine Leidenschaft, die bis heute angehalten hat. 🏺Ist das Thema für euch auch spannend? 🥰

Als ich "So haben wir gelebt" beim @knesebeck_verlag entdeckt habe, war es fast schon Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Ich meine wie cool ist dieses Konzept bitte:

Neun Kinder, die in jeweils einer Zeit/Kultur der Menschheitsgeschichte gelebt haben, stellen sich und ihr Leben vor. Dabei nehmen sie die kleinen und großen Leser ganz aktiv mit auf eine Reise durch ihre Zeit. Was wurde damals gegessen, welche Spiele gab es? Hatten die Menschen Haustiere und natürlich: was haben ihre Kulturen hervorgebracht, das wir heute noch kennen?

Wunderschön illustriert von Christiane Engel ist es eine pure Freude, sich in diesem Buch und seinen vielen kleinen Details zu verlieren. Auch Erwachsene können hier viel Neues lernen, da bin ich sicher. Ich zumindest wusste nicht, wer die Skythen waren, oder wer die erste Trinkschokolade hergestellt hat.

Der Autor Ben Hubbard hat viele verschiedene Informationen zusammengetragen und präsentiert diese auf eine sehr spaßige Weise. Ich war beinahe etwas traurig, dass das Buch nicht doppelt so dick ist, so viel Spaß hatte ich, darin zu lesen.

Dieses Sachbuch wird meine Sammlung ganz sicher nicht verlassen, denn hier wird Geschichte lebendig. Ein sehr tolles Buch, welches ich wirklich inhaliert habe - anders ging es nicht! 5 🌟

Informative & engaging book for children to learn about the historical timeline and the ways of life.

I would have given it a 5 star if it wasn't for the portrayal of Japanese culture from a slightly biased perspective.
