Tara's Path

Rate this book
One woman, two men. Three different options, one path to choose.

After the infidelity of her husband, Tara's perfect life collapsed completely. As she needed to get away from everything, she left for a one-month trip on a small island to pull herself together.

There she met a mysterious captain of a taxi boat with whom she immediately felt very strong chemistry.

With each day of Tara's vacation and through her communication with her best friend Rhea we find out more and more about Tara’s marriage with Philip and the reasons of his infidelity. It seems like Tara's marriage was not as perfect as it appeared at first sight.

Now Tara has to deal with unsolved emotions towards her ex-husband while starting a romantic relationship with Captain Eddie. At the same time, she needs to explore her own desires and decide what to do with her life.

Will Tara return to her seemingly perfect life? Will she move forward in the direction of new love? Or will she go in an unknown direction – the direction of her intuition?

Which path will Tara choose?

Tara's Path is a novel about a strong and independent woman who tried to live an ordinary life. It is a story about honest and deep human connections, rich with emotions. It is a kind of book you read in one breath.

I recieved a copy of this book from the author, thank you!

This books was a good read. It follows Tara, the mc, through a trip to an isolated island to get away from her life and reflect about things that had happened lately. This leads to an instrospection of her life, decisions that she had made and their effect on the current state of things. We see Tara thinking of moments back in time to analize her actions, the mistakes she made and determine ways to fix them.
I liked the way her thought process is shown, small moments and memories that explain some of her actions, coming to a decision about what she wants to do and acting upon it. It's certainly no t your typical HEA, but it shows a strong and resilient woman chosing herself above society expectations. The lenght of the books makes it fast pace, I would have liked a bit more time with side characters, but I understand how this is Tara's story and her voice is the one we heard throughout. At first the use of language sounded a bit too formal, but after a couple of chapters it didn't matter anymore.
Definitely worth the read!

I read this book as a change of scenery in my thoughts. It's not like my typical romance, fantasy, or thriller read, but it's worth my time, and it's a short read with less than 200 pages. It's the kind of book you end up finishing in one go, but I took a little while to finish it.

The book is about a girl named Tara who went on a vacation to clear her head and get away from her life after her infidelity with her ex-husband. But the trip led her to Eddie, and now she is confused about which path she should choose. During the trip, she reflects on everything that happened in the past and the mistakes she made.

I liked the way this book is written, as we can clearly sense her emotions and her thought process. The book is a short but detailed one. We also get to see how her relationship was with Philip and what led her to make some decisions. The writing of the author is good, as I've already mentioned. I don't know if I should consider the ending a HEA or not because it's not our typical HEA, but in a way, I'm glad for the choice Tara made, and I'm proud of her.

Tara's Path is a novel about a strong and independent woman who tries to live an ordinary life. It is a story about honest and deep human connections, rich with emotions. I definitely recommend this book.
