For as long as she can remember Skye had her nose stuck in a book, getting lost in the world of someone else's creation (She still does). Her love for writing came from her love for reading. She could never have one without the other.

Writing was always a hobby and a cathartic experience for her. There are many stories lost to the never to be completed or published pile but needed to be written at the time.

Just a girl that loved stories so much she decided to write hers.

His Omega Bear is my first experience with Skye R. Richmond. I read it as a standalone, and had no trouble following along.

A very sweet story, this is an opposites attract Mpreg/shifter romance.

I've waited for this final installment. It never came. Why tease us with a 5th book and never have it published.

It's no surprise that I wouldn't like this book. Ever since Rhys first appeared, I haven't liked him.

This book could have a maximum of 7 chapters, which would be more than enough. I liked Jaxson and Emilia. The secondary characters weren't too much either, although this title was kind of marginalized, unlike the others that were within the nucleus of that family and community. It's Rhys' fault, of course.

How I wished that this insufferable omega wouldn't have a HEA. I thought about giving up on reading it several times, I skipped some parts, but besides having a goal to only give up on titles that are extremely difficult this year, I wanted to have a basis for my review: Only read it if you have patience for boring drama. Hurry up, it's a trap.

Rhys is self-centered, selfish, spoiled and unbearable. All the drama is due to his refusal to tell Jaxson that he is a bear shapeshifter. 70% of the book is him ruminating that he doesn't want to tell his partner because he wants to enjoy a little more happiness or that it's not the right time for him or that he deserves happiness or that he waited so long or that he doesn't want to lose his long-awaited family (like I said, self-centered, selfish). After everything was revealed, the least we expected was for him to suffer a little more, but no, Jaxson goes into the middle of the forest where he hid (drama) to look for the bear (Rhys), who isn't even good enough to become wild. To make matters worse, Rhys had more chapters than Jaxson. Sit down and cry.

How hateful!

The author says in the first book that Gabe's (and Rhys') grandparents have another son who lives on the other side of the land where the bears live, which puts them in the territory of another city and that they were actually wolves, because of the mixture of the species that ran in the family, etc. And that they had several cousins, all wolves. Here, it is said that Jayson (who was a bear), Jaxson's friend and Rhys' cousin, is actually the only son of Rhys' father's brother (his uncle in this case), who also died, but in a plane crash, leaving Rhys' grandparents with only his father as a son still alive. This does not match what was said in the first book. Oh! But it was from the other father. I don't believe this, since in the books only their grandparents are mentioned on one father's side, in no book do they mention the grandparents on the other side of the family. Just like here they don't imply that.

Dual POV. Jaxson and Rhys.
Alpha/Omega. Bear Shapeshifter. Paranormal. Predestined Companions. MPreg. Small Town. New Beginning.
Low Anguish. No Violence.
Mentions the death of a sister and friend. Orphaned baby. Pain due to the loss of loved ones.

Requires willpower to finish reading.

This was a nice end to this series. There were some things that bugged me, such as the easy forgiveness of Jaxson, the repetitive sentences, and the double last chapter (apparently this author doesn't believe in editing), and what I felt like was a rushed ending, among other things. Loved the cameos from the brothers and their mates, along with the tie in to Jayson and Hunter. Compared to the other books, this one was way more dramatic. It's like the author realized they needed at least one book where something went horribly wrong and chose the last one. Overall this was a decent series.

Rhys and Jaxson are just wow. I love the instant love faded mates stories. This beautiful family that they start to build is just so amazing, my heart breaks for the loss that they both had to go through before they finally met. My heart absolutely broke for Rhys and Jaxson both so many times throughout the book, but the end result is so worth reading the book. This author did an amazing job. It’s bittersweet being the last book of the series, but so beautiful to witness the happy endings for all.😀❤️

That's what I'm talking about! Definitely a lovely ending to the series. I loved both character and Emilia was a cute bonus. Def a bit of an emotion rollercoaster I strongly connected with Rhys's and Jaxon's feelings throughout the action of the book. There were some things that I might've liked to see more of/talked about more in the book, but all in all they weren't that important/serious for me not to really enjoy the book.

Final ranking of my fav pairings in this series:
1. Kian & Gabe
2. Rhys & Jaxon
3. Sage & Hunter
4. Nash & Austin
5. Cooper & Graham

my first and last book by this author. i would dnf it but today i had only this piece of... literature available.
at times i wondered if this was written by ai but i believe it would write better than this. its as if author doesn't know such thing as editing exists and you can delete things that repeat itself 2 or more times.
it astonishes me how you can say so many words yet still say nothing. dialogues held no meaning and were generic "you know you can reach out to me any time" and vague "we will get through it together".

This was an okay end to the series, but I prefer the earlier books to this one. All of the resolutions felt rushed. And, maybe I’m in a mood today, but the editing errors took me out of the story, though not error-heavy, the errors were obvious enough to annoy me (tuition instead of intuition, their instead of they’re). But again, I might just be moody and would’ve overlooked them a different day.

This series has been all about family, friends and mates. I am so glad that this final book was released to conclude everything for everyone we have become invested in. Jaxson and Rhys do have a deep love, but there is a secret that will be revealed that will bring in some drama. I was so happy that all the other guys were present for this final chapter! Happy Epilogue too!

When Jaxson moves to a new town to take care of his niece, he meets Rhys who is drawn to. But Rhys has his own secrets and Jaxson can’t deny the pull he has to him even though he has to face the knowledge of who Rhy really is.

This was an okay conclusion to the series. There are sone discrepancies to the story and the epilogue was a fluffy way to gloss over the ending of the story.

This is the final book in this wonderful series! This is Rhys and Jaxson's story! It's emotional, angsty, steamy and filled with the amazing characters we have come to loved! I've read all books in this series and I recommend all of them! Fingers crossed for a boxed set! I read an advanced copy of this book and this is my unbiased review! I loved it!

A few issues

Chapter 32\33 the same ending was not great for end of series. The other books in series much better. Weak plot needed more family since the other ones focused on family. Just missing something. Needs better ending for sure.

Loved the series ender. I wonder why people are complaining it had everything I would want in a final book. I could have had more of the family but I knew it also wasn’t their story so the parts we got of them.

I thought this was a sweet story with 2 men and a baby. I thought it was a great way to end the series, with all the characters present. Recommend reading.

Rushed

I was looking forward to Rhys story but grammatical errors and a plot error calling one of the in-laws "her" was too much of a disappointment to enjoy his story.

Boring, and Jaxson was blowing out of proportion when Rhys revealed about himself being a shifter.

Mixed feelings

I loved it up to the point that Jaxon learned the secret Rhys was keeping. I even stayed up late reading it. After that it just went downhill. I lost all interest. The epilogue wasn’t the way I’d end a series. It was so fluffy.

Also, there were some discrepancies that kinda annoyed me in the last couple of books but especially this one and I wouldn’t have even noticed them if I hadn’t re-read the whole series from the start. In the first book or two, shifter pregnancies were shorter than human pregnancies. And they said kids with a human would almost always be a shifter. By the end pregnancies were 9 months and it’s a 50/50 chance of being a shifter. I don’t know why stuff like this annoys me but it does.
