The S.W.A.P. Game
Malik and Sheila Baptiste have been married for 13 years. In an effort to "spice" up their sex life, Mailk talks Sheile into "swinging" with their next door neighbors (Stacy and Darnell). Sheila reluctantly participates in the "swinging", but something goes terribly wrong - Malik wants to stop and Sheila becomes addicted to the lifestyle.

This story was just like the car wreck-you knows it's going to turn out bad but you have look anyway. Malik & Shelia were ideal for the Muldrues to introduce their lifestyle, unfortunately. Interesting ending.

Swinging
This book was just okay to me. This was not my favorite book by this author. I felt that certain aspects of the story were built up only to be not as big of a deal as they were made to be. I'm still a fan of this author's work just not of this book.

Some Games Aren't Meant To Be Won,
Malik and Sheila Batiste are moving on up to a deluxe apartment in the skyyyy!!! Well, not really, but close enough. Their lives take a turn for the better when newly appointed Vice President of North Texas Healthcare System Malik purchases a new spacious home for his family. In the new neighborhood where they are the minority, Malik and Sheila are too happy to learn of an African American family across the street. Their neighbors, Darnell and Stacy Muldrue, greet them with that famous southern hospitality. Their children are even the same age. It's just an all around good situation.
Malik and Sheila soon find out that Darnell and Stacy may be a little too hospitable. Where do they draw the line? Well, with the S.W.A.P (Sex With Another Partner) Game, there are no boundaries. Temptation traps the foursome in a shocking web of betrayal and murder.
New author Brian Smith has tackled the taboo topic of swinging. S.W.AP. Game is a solid debut effort that makes for a quick and easy read.

Malik and Sheila Batiste have been married thirteen long years. They'd worked hard and it was now paying off as Malik was now making six figures and among a very small minority, African American executives. The Batiste family would be changing for the better.
The Batiste family meets their friendly neighbors, the Muldrue's, who provide the Batiste with the diversity, innovation and add some excitement into their ordinarily boring lives. Malik and Sheila both find themselves fantasying about their very perfect neighbors, Darnell and Stacy.
Unbeknownst to Malik and Sheila they are being engaged. Can the Batiste swing with The S.W.A.P. Game?
At first I was a little apprehensive thinking that I was about to reread a previous released book on the taboo subject matter. NOT AT ALL!!!! I was very pleased to find a real story with real consequences, drama, sex, lies and internet. The biggest thing for me was the way you were bombarded with THE S.W.A.P. GAME, Brian if you shorten it believe me it still means the exact same thing.

I do not know where Brian W. Smith gets this stuff from but his books are outrageous. Every time I think that I have things all figured out, he throws a twist in there. I love drop your jaw surprises and once again he pulled a rabbit out of the hat.
Malik and Sheila are a modern day couple that has been married for a long time. She tries to tell him what works for her and he is not listening (typical man). Shelia has been trying to tell Malik for years that there are aspects of their marriage that is suffering, but because he has a high powered job, he truly things that he is the man.
Enter Darnell and Stacy, a very attractive couple in their new neighborhood. Both of them wind up drooling over the other spouse and you know all heck breaks loose then. Yep I said heck... It was on and poppin. Then to compound problems add an unexpected twist and you have Brian doing what he does best...leaving you asking what in the .........

My Thoughts....
This author really knows how to keep the readers attention till the very end. The story dealing with Sheila/Malik,Darnell/Stacy and let's not leave out Sheila's friend Nikki. This was quite a interesting read that dealt with swinging[ 'The SWAP GAME']. How will this all turn out? Well, with all of this story's twist and turns the reader will be lead to quite a intriguing ride all the way till the very end. What I really appreciated from the read what the message that was sent from the author. Will the readers get this message? I did! In the end will Sheila get what she wanted from her marriage?
I liked the 'Ten Book Club Debate Questions and bonus question at the end of this novel. These really give you reason to ponder what would you have done if you were in that situation?

This was another awesome book by Brian w smith. Sheila and Malik have no idea what they are in for in the swap game. The ending was surprising. I highly recommend this book

well this was a total surprise, i wasn't expecting the ending but it really made me think! THis couple had it all but the wife was unsatisfied sexually so they decided to swing but one got addicted and the other was jealous, I wish it was longer just so i could know the outcome. But all in all i really enoyed this read!!

Wonderful crazy twist
The S.W.A.P. Game was a wonderful twisted story that made your imagination and visuals run wild. You brought the characters alive along with unexpected twists. Great read.

Think long and hard before you agree to participate in the SWAP game. Having a dull sex life sometimes makes couples cross the line. After Sheila and Malik are attracted to the neighbors in their neighborhood, they are easily persuaded to switch partners. Because Darnell and Stacy Muldrue are attractive, it was not hard to catch their eye.
The Muldrues are seasoned professionals at the SWAP and they are well versed on setting traps for new bait. Little did they know that they interfering with this couples's marriage would cost them more than their fair share of heartbreak.
What would you do? Some games just shouldn't be played...

What else can be said more than what the author has put on the cover "Some games shouldn't be played". If there is one lesson that couples should take away from this story is "pay attention to your mate". Try to satisfy one another and there should be no reason to stray, unless you are already a freak.

Malik Batiste could never imagine the changes that would happen in his family's lives. Malik gets the promotion he has been waiting for and now he can move his wife, Sheila and 12 year old son, Junior, to an upscale neighorbohood. Once they are settled in, the couple meets one of the few black families in their neighborhoods and their neighbors, Darnell and Stacy Muldrue. They start out as simple couple double dates...dinner, shopping and golf. Little do Malik and Sheila know, the Muldrues are gearing them up for the swinging game of S.W.A.P (Sex with Another Partner). Malik and Sheila agree to bring exploration into their marriage for ONE time only. But can this type of game only be played once? How do you go back to being a married couple and neighbors after a passion filled orgasmic night of back banging sex? Some games are not meant to be played! One click this novel! You will not be disappointed as Brian Smith does it again!

S.W.A.P. is an excellent novel and very well structured. If you want a good novel that will make you sit up and take notice, laugh, and that says all of the things you are thinking, S.W.A.P. is definitely the story! Brian W. Smith has the ability to not only write a good story, but add all of the stuff that is happening while things are bad and good. S.W.A.P. is one of the few stories that I have read that has done this. Brian also makes you lose yourself in his characters. At times the characters are so pronounced and real that you forget Brian is the author. This is a gentlemen who is definitely in touch with people. I cannot praise him enough and looking to read more from this author. He knows how to put words on paper. Not only can this author write an excellent novel he could get a job as a professional comedian. Brian W. Smith tells it like it is! Can't praise him enough!

Excellent novel; quick read. This is the story of a couple who is teeter-tottering on the edge of marital woe. Malik and Sheila Batiste have been married for 13 years and seem to have it all - beautiful son, lavish home, and demanding careers. But, their sex life is in trouble. Enter new next door neighbors, Darnell and Stacy Muldrue, and the S.W.A.P. Game.
In true BWS fashion, the author keeps the surprises coming as the couple decides whether or not to participate in the taboo scenario that presents itself. Will they live to regret the decisions that they make? Will the relationships survive the chaos that is sure to ensue?
This is a page turner for sure!

Wow!! Very interesting topic. The storyline was GREAT! I am falling in love with Mr. Smith's books. I would love to read more about Duke and Sexy.
