Innocent Lies
So good, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time not wanting to put this book down. This story very tactfully deals with sex trafficking and the affect on the woman trapped in this lifestyle. While at the same time, this story is about forgiveness, compassion, grace, and friendship. And while God is not a major player in this story, I liked how the main characters turn to him during times of trial and difficulty. This story is sure to pull at your heart strings while at the same time giving you a glimpse of the dark realities that go on in our world where woman are not valued. And this contrast between the treasures of life and the darkness of evil are very well balanced in this story. I loved this book and I highly recommend it.
In this book you meet Kelsey, a desperate mom on the run from the man who had treated her as property to be loaned, rented and sold. And she is tired of this life on the run after 10 years. So in a final desperate attempt to protect her son, she makes plans to keep him safe even if its without her.
As part of her plans, the boy is found by a police detective who makes sure the boy is safe. But the detective cannot help but wonder what kind of monster mother would leave her child behind like that. And as the story unfolds, you as the reader will find yourself rooting for this mom and her son. Will the mom be able to reunite with her son, will she ever enjoy freedom again?

Beautiful story about redemption, standing up for truth, and finding your true home. In this story Kade and Ginny meet and are drawn to one another. As their friendship develops, it is tested by the trials of life. How does one respond when someone you love is being locked at negatively to the point that it’s having a negative impact on you? Do you stand by then or cut ties and run? Kade and Ginny face that choice and you will have to get a copy to find out how they respond.
My 2 favorite quotes are

Three new novels by Robin Patchen. In “Innocent Lies” an eight year old was sent in to Daniel Anderson and say “he does not have a daddy.” The man was a police officer. In the “Beautiful Lies” Harper Cloud works as a nurses aide and works for Red Burns. In the third book “ legacy Rejected” Ginny Lamont arrives at her sister’s house as she and her family is leaving town. She says that both of their lives are in danger and that she needs to leave. Great suspenseful stories. I’ve now read the 10 books in that series and each one was filled with sweet romance, action packed twists and turns, and refreshing script on how God cares and watches over His children.
Thank you Robin for writing clean enjoyable novels they have far exceeded my expectations. I have read other series by you and have enjoyed them immensely. Please continue to write those wonderful stories as the Lord blesses you with the ideas and message He wants you to get across to your readers.

An exciting series.
This series has many twists and turns as each story is laced with lots of suspense. These stories have lots of drama,suspense and intrigue as you try to guess ahead who the bad guys are but I was in the dark until the end of each book. The romance was equally impressive with handsome men and the ladies who needed rescuing. Written by one of my favorite authors.

A Good Collection of Stories
I enjoyed this set of stories in the Nutfield series. The second was a bit long for me, but enjoyable still. I appreciated the author’s approach to handling spiritual situations and romance in all three. This series is clean, inspirational, suspense romance, so if that’s your thing, and you enjoy MCs who keep pressing on and don’t give up, do give this book and the series a try.

Always good
Robins books have clear Christian messages without being preachy. These also had tight plots, flawed characters, and unexpected problems and answers.
