A well laid out and readable book on back pain, some of the major causes. How to use exercise to help a person diminish the pain; and solid advice on the options for care (including surgery) and the outcomes to expect. The one back issue is did not cover was scoliosis. This to different than the other back issues covered but it I would have loved to have had it covered. I know many people who suffer from this and feel it has been shrugged off by the medical community for far too long.

However, for other situations- this could be a life-saver in terms of managing back pain. It's not magic- it's telling you how to DO something to help and prevent more pain.

Liked how back exercises were listed with pictures, but would have liked to seen more specific exercises for sciatica.
