The more the two battles to save lives, the more in love Danni falls, but will she be brave enough to face admitting her feelings, and win Annabel’s heart, or risk losing the security, and the life of solitude, she’d always known? Or will she face losing Annabel instead?

This was one of the worst books I've ever read. The POV was EVERYWHERE. The typos, misused words, missing words, added words, and cliches made the contrived plot and cardboard characters even worse.

This reads like a first draft rather than a book that someone should pay for. There's no way that an editor or proofreader's eyes touched this book. And if there was any editorial work on it, that editor should be fired.

Yeah, I didn't like this book at all. These were also the worst police/FBI agents I've possibly ever come across. I'd give more details about it but I don't want to spoil it for anyone who may still have the desire to read it.

Well Played

This REVISED book features Dani and Annabel as partners in this crime/detective adventure. I found the book riveting and exciting and a bit intense at times. There were so many twisty turns that kept my interest and left me guessing. I never did figure it out and that is pretty rare for me.
I got hooked into this story and hated to put it down, it was so good!
The writing in this book was solid, the plot great and the characters intriguing and dynamic. It was far too easy to care for and worry about them! I can not wait until book two is released and I am told it will be soon.

Thank you Ms Carter.

Fast paced, relatively simple plot but you never know where it ends up. All in all I've enjoyed reading the story. I love the characters as well, and how the small little twist brings Danni and Annabel together. They are not your typical alpha type James Bond style heroine either, but all in all I find their characters believable. Sometimes things just doesn't go on right. I'm putting the next novel on my to read list.

The dialogue is clunky and so is the story. The cover is just awful too. This is the first of Dawn Carter's novels that I have read so I am going to hunt down The Crossroads and see how I fare with that.

Wow

I fell in love with the characters and storyline the first chapter. I couldn't put this book down. I had to know who did it. This kept me on my seat.
