Readers still had questions about Harmonie & Cairo when their story was complete, and many were disappointed with Sydney... but wait til you hear her story.

My goodness “Pray For Me 3: Sydney & Devin (A Spin-Off of Harmonie & Cairo)” was a great read but simultaneously was annoying, exhausting and an emotional roller coaster with some of the characters 🥴. …Foremost, Sydney & Devin cute couple but they were to impressionable, young, gullible & naive; Conversely, Ms. Reynolds you couldn’t super glue her mouth shut if paid 😡🥴🤦🏾♀️! She was always present, opinionated, intrusive, manipulative, condescending, hateful, lonely, jealous & bitter etc. 😡🤬🥴‼️ …because she was always 🍋 miserable, why not inflict & sabotage everyone’s life around her, encluding her daughter, son in law & their family⁉️Honestly, I hated how this woman was portrayed. I wanted to drop kick her into the middle of next year. Hopefully, through counseling the readers will receive a plausible explanation for her reprehensible behaviors towards Sydney & Devin. Thereafter, thank you for the rainbow of hope after the storm ⛈️ clouds of life. …because misery loves company. We needed it☺️🌞‼️
Sydney's Mom was really working my nerves in the beginning. She was acting like a moody teenager and had me second guessing because aren't you the parent? Also another thing, the miscommunication...(sighs) I kept getting frustrated when Sydney wouldn't let Devin explain and tell his truths. She just kept talking over him, like woman…chill out, you're only deceiving yourself. But in conclusion, I'm glad everyone was able to settle their beef and with the help of God, they were able to find a way to better themselves.
A lovely ending to the series, am saddened to know that Sydney’s mother cause so much pain and ahvoc in her life. This story is a story that will remind you that we are all not worthy of Gods grace but he love us unconditionally no matter our passed sins or current ones . He is always working for our good ! I would recommend your read this book , if you’re looking for a book that heavily depends of faith, family drama , redemption, forgiveness and restoration!
The story of Sydney and Devin is a testament to not confronting issues. Sydney stayed in the shadows of life because of her mother. She met Devin in then stayed in his shadow as well. When the truth was finally revealed she realized she had missed out on so much. Devin was her protector but he also served as a crutch. Them finally being honest with themselves enabled their relationship to be renewed.
I really was skeptical about reading book 3, because these characters weren’t as big or interesting as books 1 & 2. However I read it and was very much entertained! The author did an amazing job telling Sidney and Devin’s story! This was a great spin off!
I felt so bad for Devin. I feel like he was more the victim in this story. His wife wouldn’t stand up to her mother. The mother disrespected them both in their home. He tried to help make the best of his situation, but it seems he was the one to blame for an innocent mistake.
