Join writer, raconteur and chronic traveler Kevin Armstrong as he journeys through time and space on his gay sex odyssey. In a remote country town in Australia where he has gone to direct the musical "Cabaret" he falls in love with a just-turned-legal cub reporter. Too many editing errors. WAY too many. Totally distracted from the novella.
Very little mention of the Burmese boy named Adrian. Mostly concerned with the writer's sexual experiences in Kuala Lompur and other Indonesian gay spots and saunas. "Zero" on the 'things I didn't already know' scale. Graphic m/m/boy sexual experiences and scenes.

It is unclear whether this story is fiction or semi-autobiographical. In any event, it is about a gay, young Australian man and his adventures in the gay saunas of Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong and his apparently non-stop sex with younger Burmese and Chinese men. He provides detailed descriptions of his activities in various gay saunas in these two cities and the growing romance with his “Burmese Boy” from the title. Although this is almost non-stop sex it is very well written and a delightful read.

It's very primitive story about gay sex with Asians. Too poor language, always the same spots and poses, I have no idea whom this book could be interested for.
