This Walkthrough guide is intended for undergraduate biology students. This guide is a step-by-step explanation of the particulars of the cell cycle, mitosis and meiosis. This guide would be useful in General Biology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Cell Biology and Genetics. An “A” student would locate the Worksheet in Chapter 1 and attempt to answer the questions from their lecture materials and their textbook. If you get stumped, just flip to the answers located through the rest of the book. Included in the Appendices are figures showing the complete chromosome set and how they go through the various stages of mitosis and meiosis, not just the 2-4 chromosomes your textbook uses to illustrate the concept to save space. Happy dividing
