Alex Mason #13

Son of Hell

NEVER HAS SO MUCH BEEN AT STAKE, NEVER HAS THE PRIZE OF ABSOLUTE POWER BEEN MORE SEDUCTIVE...

Multiple time USA TODAY & Amazon 5-million copy bestselling authors DAVID ARCHER and BLAKE BANNER have combined forces to create one hell of a thriller series!

The world population is hurtling toward nine billion; some say more than the planet can support. Two titanic blocks rule that population – East and West – bound together in a global economy - and a secret, war to the death. Never has so much been at stake, never has the prize of absolute power been more seductive.

And never have the leaders of these titanic blocks been quite so insane.

Insane enough to invoke the Son of Hell, to bring the war out of the shadows and fire down from Heaven; and count the dead not in dozens but millions.

But in a war where the warriors are not men but robots and drones, how can you know your enemy?

When Mason and Gallin are sent into Ukraine to meet an undercover agent from Moscow, they cannot imagine the maze of deceit, terror and madness they have entered. In a mission that will take them from DC to Kiev, Brussels and ultimately Lithuania and Kaliningrad, Mason and Gallin will be fighting the ultimate war to save humanity from itself…

From the Son of Hell.

Fans of Bond, Rapp, Harvath, and The Gray Man will love Alex Mason. A man who is a law until himself. Who will stop at nothing to protect freedom and innocence. Archer and Banner are at their best in their debut co-authored series full of espionage, intrigue, politics, and death. If that sounds appealing, give Mason a try. You won't be disappointed.

From Russia with Revenge

A massacre in Russia, claims the British are responsible and the spider's web continues to weave an extravagant web for Mason and Gallial to untangle before the whole world is spun on its axis.
Once again they are paired by ODIN and Mossad to avert an event which could destroy both the UK and Israel. Plenty of bodies, plots and abuses of position and power.
A bit repetitive, each book has a number of unlawful men all being hit, punched, kicked, stabbed or shot in their genitals! Whilst I know this is a soft target, a little more variety, please.

Well done sequel!

This novel ties up so many loose ends that happened in previous stories. In my opinion, it is not required to have the previous story knowledge. You can read this without having read any prior Alex Mason book.. Jinx! This is book 13! Gotcha. Yes, you could read this as a stand alone story but seriously, why would you?? You'd be missing out on all the fun the rest of us have had with a dozen Alex Mason books under our belts. Totally up to you

Explosive commentary on international violence, power, and control

Familiar characters encounter world dynamics in familiar ways, this time to stop a radical Muslim power play. A radical Russian psychopath almost succeeds in stopping Alex and Gallin from exposing evil double agents. Fascinating possibilities appear not so fictional.

Great read

I really enjoy how the plots of the Alex Mason series revolve around issues which are currently possible. The characters are believable and well rounded. The action is well presented and there is always a bit of humor to lighten the intensity. This is a great read.

OMG

I can see this happening. Author writes as if he is watching the characters not part of the action as in earlier books, but still a great story, and well worth reading. I shall be looking for his next adventure. Happy reading, enjoy yourself reading all his books.

Amazingly Revealing

What's impressive to me is how current and relevant the story lines are to what's happening in the world today. Opens the reader's eyes to political means of attempting to influence control on a worldwide scale. Much more than just a story!

great reading

A story of intrigue, cunning and deception at the highest level. To show how vulnerable the world status Quo is and how easy it would be to bring the world to the brink of WW3.

Could be happening as we read it!

The number of people Mason and Gallon can trust seems to be in the single digits! They are on a mission to keep information from falling into the wrong hands and stop the perpetrators, but first they must identify them.
Fast-paced!

Evil

This was a true picture of what will happen without the rule of law and a disregard of human rights. This is what every American should fear.
