They're impossible... Rebellious. Crude. Stubborn. And the most delicious temptation I've ever known.
They’re wildly famous, so hot it’s crude, and they don’t give a d*mn what people think. I’m meant to tame them for the upper echelons of society, but they seem intent on tempting me to the dark side instead.
Our lives are already woven together in complicated ways, without all the other ways we’ve been getting… uh, entangled. But being with them feels good. And I really, really need to feel good after the hell I’ve been through the last few months.
But when everything is on the line, can the three bad boy rockstars behave themselves? Or will they just be another thing in my life that can’t be tamed?
TAMING HER TEMPTATIONS is an extra-extra-steamy why choose/reverse harem contemporary romance novel. HEA guaranteed! (While this book is part of a series, it also works as a standalone.) Happy reading!
Joya Lively loves pleasure. Especially when it comes in the form of gorgeous men. Throw in some fantasy, mystery, and an excited heroine and you've just described a perfect Saturday morning.
She writes stories that are all about making the heroine feel good, in more ways than one. She has a special soft spot for tales where the heroes and heroines feel safe and empowered to explore their deepest desires.
If you want to escape to other worlds populated by insatiable and seductive characters, then you've come to the right author.

Ruby Rivers, 33 Levi Wilde, 20s, brother to Ruby’s ex’s gf and frontman of Midnight Sons Dean Marquez, 20s, drummer Asher Moor, 20s, guitarist
Ruby Rivers is in the middle of a divorce from her cheating ex. Needing money for a divorce lawyer, she accepts a job working with the band Midnight Sons, trying to figure out what her ex husband was up to as Levi’s sister is pregnant with his child. Things get steamy between the band mates and her fairly quickly. Once the guys learn Ruby made a mistake involving her ex, they tell her she’s still too entwined in his life and she must find herself before they can be together.
3.5 stars in total. I liked the story, some of the subjects seemed be be glossed over though. (Such as the ending with Steven.) I’m not big on the insta love but this seemingly has this vibe (it’s not really though.) I loved how she was older than the guys and how the guys were able to coach her into figuring out what she liked and didn’t like. Also enjoyed seeing her come out of her shell.
I said it in my last review, and I will say it again... Joya Lively is quickly becoming one of my favorite reverse harem/ why choose romance authors! Her books are super steamy without being crass and always have lots of love and hilarious moments, and did I mention steam 🔥🥵😉?
Taming Her Temptations is Book 2 in the Fun & Filthy Series. It is a steamy, instalove with a bit of enemies-to-lovers vibe, OTT, reverse age gap, reverse harem/why choose, girl gets her 3 rockstars romance.
Ruby is a 34 year old jilted and jaded female who has found out that her husband, Steven ( who she was with for 17 years) was cheating on her with a much younger woman, Madison and has kicked her out with nothing but the clothes on her back. She is forced to move back home. While he is out of town, she breaks into his house to get a sentimental item that was her mom's, only to be caught by Madison's brother, Levi. He is the hunky lead singer for the rock band Midnight Sons and is there with the other members, Asher and Dean, who are like his brothers. They are all hot 🔥 and in their early 20s.
Ruby grew up in a wealthy, pretentious community but was the outsider. She ended up with Steven, who was wealthy and ended up conforming to his standards and losing herself a bit. Now that she is the jaded wife, she finds herself on the outside again and feels broken.
When Levi, Asher, and Dean approach her for etiquette lessons as they have to plan a gala, she wants to say no, but the offer is too good to refuse. The unexpected connection she feels with all 3 of them is a pleasant surprise, and they realize they have a lot in common. They also have a motivation similar to hers to find out more about her ex and possible shady activity.
Ruby develops connections with all 3 of the men. Levi is the charming singer who understands loss. Dean is the hunky, muscled drummer, and Asher is the quietest, sentimental one who writes a lot of the music. All three are attracted to her and want to show her she is a true gem, worthy of the world and their love. The story becomes one of self-discovery and learning to love on her own terms. She was never physically with anyone, but Steven and boy do her three men show her what she was missing 😉🔥, awaking her inner sex goddess. The chemistry between the three was pure fire. I thought my Kindle might combust. The third act breakup about gutted me, but we ended on a happy note, thank goodness.
Steven was a douch canoe and a complete slimeball. I wish we had a bit more resolution with him. A shanking in prison would have been nice.
Her rockstars were dreamboats, although I was mad at them at the end for how things went down in the breakup. They did redeem themselves, though. I loved them all, but I am team Dean!! The way he expressed himself and showed her how much she was desired...🔥🔥🔥🥵 It was so totally hot and swoon-worthy.This was another great read from Joya with plenty of love, laughs, drama, and smutty goodness!! I also loved all the supporting characters, especially her father and Odette!
I can't wait for Blair's story next!.

I really enjoyed this story about Ruby and her three men, Asher, Levi, and Dean. Ruby has been kicked out of her home by her husband when she finds him cheating on her. She has returned to her house to collect something that was dear to her because it once belonged to her mother, when she is there, she is interrupted by three men, who is the brother of the female who was having an affair with her husband. Asher, Levi and Dean are all in a band and need lessons in etiquette and also in organising a gala. Things progress between these and they start a relationship but they also ask Ruby if she can help find out what is going on with her ex-husband which eventually leads her giving the FBI information that will put him behind bars. Meanwhile things progress, and they all eventually have a happily ever after with a family of their own.

I loved it! Levi, Asher and Dean are probably the most down to earth rock stars you will ever meet. While Ruby grew up in a pretentious community she was not one of the elite. She always felt like she didn’t fit and worked hard to make herself accepted. Now going through a divorce she is no longer a part of the society she has adapted to. She is back home, broke and almost broken. Then an offer she can’t refuse comes from the rockers she wants nothing to do with. Levi, Asher and Dean want nothing more than to help Ruby see there is more in the world than her home town and take down her ex-husband. Joya Lively does an awesome job of developing characters and their chemistry with each other. She is able to have Ruby connect with each of her rockers for different reasons and creates a group dynamic which seems realistic.

I really enjoyed this book and the FMC. Living a privileged life even though she was brought up more humble nothing was good to stop Ruby. Her husband soon to be ex did her dirty. Cheated and impregnated another younger woman. Locking Ruby out of her stuff with nothing, breaking in was her only choice. The break in brought three handsome studs into her view. Levi, Dean and Asher. Forced to move back home and try to piece her life back together and opportunity presents itself. Levi, Dean and Asher give her a job that will enact the revenge she is seeking. The steam in this book is so hot 🥵 and gave me all the feels. Not to mention I loved the interaction and character building with Ruby and all her men.

This story is essentially about Ruby rediscovering herself and finding the joy in her life. She is helped with this in the most delightful way by Levi, Dean and Asher - a famous pop star trio - who help her overcome the anger she feels towards her cheating and deceitful ex, and her perpetual need to fit in within a society that has always looked down upon her. All four characters were extremely likeable, with distinct personalities, and the chemistry and spice between them was wonderful. The author wrote many humorous and heartfelt scenes, and the addition of a host of other delightful characters made for a most enjoyable read. We are introduced to Blair (aka YourInternetBestie88) and I can’t wait to read her ‘why choose’ romance next.

One gilted wife and three sexy band members. Go Ruby Rivers! However, there's complications by the shed load here and Ruby has to explore the possibility that her ex was a con man fleecing thousands from her friends while juggling the novelty of trying the polyamorous lifestyle. Having led a sheltered life these things are overwhelming.
This is a very sweet and interesting story with some pretty cool characters. Ruby's sexual awakening and emotional dawning is nicely portrayed. Her journey from being an angry gilted wife to being a fulfilled emotionally stable person is a treat to read. There's a lot happening in this entertaining story!.

Ruby was recently dumped by her husband for his pregnant 20 something girlfriend and she’s trying to fit in in her home town now that she’s once again looked down upon like she was when she was the poorest kid in school. She’s been teaching herself to fit in with the upper crust community her whole life and now she’s been hired to teach three rockstars the same but ends up having a whole lot of chemistry with them instead.
This is a fun little reverse harem, made me laugh and was a fun quick plot line. The spice was good although not much of them all together. I liked the characters a lot and I wish I could’ve spent more time with all of them. I hope the next book is about Blaire!.

Thank you to Joya Lively for proividing me with an ARC of this bok in exchange for my honest review.
Favourite Quote: "We might not be getting our names tattooed on each other, but I'm pretty sure I prefer matching pink piercings, anyway"
Honestly, I love Joya's book, they're nice, sweet romances that act as a great palette cleanser to all the dark romance I typically read. It's also always nice to mix things up with a reverse age-gap, as we get with Ruby and her boys. This work was an easy read, I giggled at the moments of Ruby trying to teach the rebellious rockstars some manners and decorum while they tried to get her to unleash her crazy side. Add in the plot of trying to expose her ex's financial indsicretions and we got to see Ruby grow as a character also (although she was still too nice at times!!!). One of my favourite aspects of Joya's books though is there's not always an instant HEA, sometimes time and work is needed to make it all work in the end. I alady can't wait for the next one.
I loved this story. I felt so bad for Ruby at the beginning. I honestly didn't know how she could deal with Levi after what his sister did to her. Dean and Asher were definitely my favorites and their scene where they walked in on Ruby listening to their music was absolutely chef's kiss. I think as the story progressed, we really get to see her come into her own. Do I think she forgave these guys too fast? Personally, yes. I'm not sure I would have been as nice after just one dinner gala. Overall this is probably one of my new favorite authors, for sure a favorite new series.

🎸 Reverse harem 🎤 Rockstar romance 🥁 Reverse age gap 🎵 Multiple POV
I was lucky enough to be sent the second book in this series after ARCing for the first one. I love Joya’s writing style and character progression which was so much easier to see in this one as it was twice the length of the last. The spice was definitely spicing although a bit insta lovey but it worked. The way the guys helped Ruby what it was she wanted from life was super sweet and not at all frustrating like some reverse age gap books can be.
Can’t wait to see what happens with Blair in the next book 🤞🏻
My heart is out for Ruby when the book opens to find she has been cheated on and is breaking into her old house to retrieve a set of Easter mugs…. The story picks up when her and her brother began a sort of Easter egg hunt as two siblings in their early 30s.
I downloaded this book onto my kindle about a month ago, and wasn’t exactly sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised! Dean, Levi, and Asher were swoonworthy, and I loved reading about this relationship develop. And yes, it is steamy 🥵 but I also feel like there was a good plot as well! Although I would have loved to see more karma directed at Steve!
This was a 3.5-4 read for me. There were times I thought the story was rushed and read more like a novella, and maybe that was intentional. They all fall together rather quickly, but I did like Ruby standing up for herself in a toxic place. 4/5 for spice with number of scenes, some kink, and dirty talk. I did feel like the scenes were fast but maybe that was intentional. Overall a good spicy and quick why choose.
Ruby is something. I feel her heartbreak about her situation, and SS is awful. I loved the writing and phew things got spicy with her, Levi, Dean, and Asher. I love my books to have some angst and this didn’t disappoint. I hate Madison and I think she should have gotten more flack but it was still a really good book.

There was no taming going on in this book that’s for sure. Take 3 rockstar musicians, add in some family drama, newly separated FMC and her need to earn some cash and well you end up with this book. Her ex is scum of the earth, her dad and Ms. Odette are adorbs! Multiple POVs, RH, no MM, low angst and gives you a side character that will have the next book in this standalone series. I’ll say it again. These books are great palate cleansers!
The overall romance pattern was cute. I felt like SH Steve's downfall was rather unsatupisfying. I also was not a fan of the long stretch of time when the MCs didn't talk. It seemed far-fetched, at best, that they didn't go to her. I love Dean, Levi, and Asher. They are so cute and a little dramatic. 😍 Overall a good palette-cleanser.
RH, Hot! I could not put this book down. I was hooked into the character's lives right from the start of the book. I loved all the characters and the storyline. This was my first time reading this author and I loved it. I can't wait to read more and more.

This book is part of The Fun and Filthy series, but all can be read as standalones. This story is about Ruby and her guys. Lots of STEAM. Loved the characters and the storyline.

This was a steamy reverse harem about a woman who is getting divorced and three rockstars that are part of the same band. Ruby has been cheated and lied to…and is still the epitome of propriety…until she gets caught stealing a bunny punchbowl set😂. From that point on she starts to live her truth and it is a quite enjoyable truth😉. I enjoyed how the men were seamless in their acceptance of the unusual relationship and accepted early on that her ex was a tool! Overall this was an enjoyable and spicy RH that many who indulge in the genre will enjoy!
