In the chilly dawn of a new life, Shenita finds herself navigating unfamiliar territory. As she grapples with anger and disillusionment, unexpected footsteps herald the arrival of Gabriel Neary, a figure both enigmatic and unsettlingly familiar. Offering coffee and cryptic conversation, Gabriel presents Shenita with a succumb to her rage or channel it into a purposeful path.
Drawn into a world of clandestine mentorship and hidden agendas, Shenita—now rechristened Helen—faces a journey fraught with uncertainty. With Mr. Slow as her guide, she embarks on a quest for redemption, teetering on the edge between salvation and damnation.
As the morning sun illuminates their clandestine pact, Helen grapples with the weight of her decisions. Trusting Gabriel means surrendering to a fate beyond her control, yet the promise of purpose beckons amidst the shadows of her past.
In a tale of redemption and reckoning, "Night Blind" explores the fragile balance between light and darkness, trust and betrayal. As Helen delves deeper into the world of The Technicians, she must confront the demons that lurk within her soul—and decide whether to embrace the monster within or banish it forever.

When last I read of Cherry, Slow, Bunny aka Naomi and Shenita, they were in the process of 1) Slow, finding out he was a daddy to a cute four year old he nicknamed Bunny, 2) Cherry, leaving to find Shenita who was her cousin and for all intents and purposes her sister, caretaker for Naomi and the latest collection of a nerdy little prick who cut her up before setting her free to be found by Cherry and Mustang! Fast forward to a meet and greet with Naomi's dad, his parents, sister, cousin, and cousin-in-law plus a re-connection with Cherry aka Abigail and Naomi Shenita was bruised mentally and physically. Others were part of the new life of Shenita who got to meet the heads of various sections of the "Company". To keep her safe she had to be given a new identity and then it all begins! I remember reading Blind Spot and hoping that to keep Shenita protected, that she become a Technician herself! Opening the blurb of Night Blind made me joyful that the author had indeed transformed Shenita from an angry former collected doll, to a poised, come into her own confident woman well on her way to healing, taking care of herself, and finding her own love interest in the process! Night Blind is so well worth the wait and surpassed as usual my reading pleasure! Ms. Olivia, you make my pleasure reading part of my life very, very happy!!! I now look forward to the mail order bride story coming in the fall. All fans of Ms. Gaines, do yourselves a favor and get, read and enjoy Night Blind! I did!!!!!
This book started with.Shenita, a scared, angry woman before she became Helen, a strong, empowered dynamo. Having been traumatized too many times in her life by men, she, of course, didn't trust them at all, not even her cousin Cherry's husband, Michael. The Archangel decided she might be a good Technician, and Michael agreed she needed to channel her anger. He starts working with her. Before he can get into serious training his wife gets injured and can't complete her assignment. Helen volunteers to complete it, which she does with an added bonus. This starts Shenita on the road to earn the name Helen. She got to a place after keeping her promise to the women being held by The Collecter, she further empowers herself by not being afraid to ask Jay, Michael's brother for what she wants, continuing on her road to healing. My favorite character in this book is Naomi, Michael and Cherry's five year old daughter...she was a hoot!!! She made me laugh out loud with her shenanigans. I especially loved the questions she had when she met Jay for the first time. It was hilarious. I enjoyed this book so much. I wouldn't mind a sequel to see where everyone is in a couple years. Fantastic job, Olivia!! Very well done!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💐💐💐💐💐💐 You earned your flowers with this one. I should know, I have all eleven Technicians books.
What a ride. Laughs, sexiness, new family members and a guest visit from my favorite Neary, Bleu. I loved everything about this story. I thought Shenita/Helen finding herself, her self worth was everything. Her journey had been a rough one but she became everything thing she was destined to be after in the end. Naomi, who is the ultimate daddy's girl was a hoot and so incredibly funny. Loved both Cherry and Slow's relationship became stronger and fruitful...brother Luke is on his way. Love the technician series...cannot wait for more!!!
… this was good. OG is always hilarious! The characters and laughs don’t disappoint. I love this series and it hit most of the markers in the continuance….glad to catch up and see loose ends bound…But boy… I sure would have loved a play by play of Helen’s copulation with Mustang… or at least a more detailed romp with Mr. Slow. Love that character! The brief acknowledgement of both interactions felt incomplete this go round, which took away a bit of the sexiness and mystery enjoyed in previous installments.
This was another great book! I really enjoyed this story, and the characters were very entertaining. The ending of Cherry on Top and the beginning of Cranberry was very interesting. Helen was fragile and strong. The way she flipped Jesus and let the other fruit know she was not one to take lightly. I loved the chemistry between Jay and Helen it was smoking hot 🔥! Naomi is too cute a d smart. I truly enjoyed this book, and I highly recommend this book to my fellow romance readers. You will not be disappointed.
Ms. Gaines~ You literally added to the Cherry on Top ! 🥰 These characters had so much raw emotions and deep thoughts, even the villians, that had you feeling like you were on a roller coaster ride. Helen became the new fruit and Mustang is stuck and knows it 🤣. Slow is finally on a fast track of family bliss. And the Neary family has gotten bigger. Bunny is wild and growing wilder. A beautiful read. Looking Forward to reading next about a tough Mustang and his love for wild Cranberry. ❤️❤️
Yess lawd 🤣, Olivia has delivered again. It's exciting, full of suspense, sizzling, hilarious, romantic storyline with the best characters EVERRR 😄. The Cherry 🍒 is retired, the Cranberry is added to the bowl of fruits. Promise kept, step up to complete a job with a little extra thrown in, Naomi is sharp and keeps her Daddy on his toes 😂😂😂. Bleu shows up, just read the book, it's that damn good 😉.
Olivia Gaines, I absolutely love her books. They are so 'can't put it down' kind of books. The Technician series had me caught up at book one and I wait on pins and needles for each book. My only sore spot is it seems all the women in the series have delt with extreme trauma in their lives. It would be nice of one of the lead women had average issues and met a technician. Other than that, keep them coming.
Wow, let’s hope there’s more sequels to come. I loved the strength and grace that Shenita and Cherry displayed while reclaiming their power and lives.
Can I say that Naomi was too cute! No doubt a future role player in the organization. The humour was on point.
Also, I appreciated that despite the alpha males bravado that Micheal , Mark and Mustang allowed their sensitive sides to come through especially in their commitment to the women in their lives.

If you are a follower of The Technician s series, this is a book that will tell you things you have always wanted to know. We follow Shenita (with Cherry's family after we met her in the prior book. You know what she has been through and she is going to use the aftermath to build something constructive. It is not formulaic, it will keep you guessing.
I enjoyed reading Shanita’s journey to becoming the Technician called Cranberry. However, the rating is only a 3 because of the inconsistencies in the spelling of the names for some of the characters from one book to the next. (“i.e. Rebeka/Rebecca and Azrael/Azreal.) This is frustrating when reading several books the series all at once.
This was another good addition to the series...I can only imagine what Helen will get into...i was pleased with Stallion...shocked @ Cherry's retirement and next phase .. Naomi is a beast and Michelle is something serious...
I love this series and was happy to be caught up on Slow and his family. Bunny was hysterical and I was glad to see Helen get her revenge and keep her promise. Love seeing the new crew of Technicians being introduced!
What a wonderful Love story. Love of self, family ,friends and a lover. Olivia Gaines is an OG in more than one way .And who wouldn't want to buy Naiomi a pony. I'm just surprised that it wasn't a Black Mustang. This book is a 5 star read
I have all these Technician book but this one I think was the best. Naomi made this book great and how she treated the men in her life and the things she would say waiting on the next book
I just love Olivia Gaines books. She is by far my favorite author. She has out done her self again. The storyline and characters were great. And you can always look forward to laugh out loud moments. The Technicians is a great series. Can't wait for book 12!!
Another page turning addition to the Technicians series I have read every one and each one is exciting, full of interesting characters and a storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat anxious for what is going to happen next Great job Oliva as only you can do!
Olivia writes a beautiful story of Helen finding her way after being a victim. Olivia makes the story flow easily, as she brings in Neary family members from other technician novels. This is a great start to meeting the other technicians.
Night Bling is one book that I could not put down. I am happy to see that Helen is now holding her own as the Cranberry, but disappointed that the Cherry on top has been deactivated.
Took a minute to get into the storyline, but dang if it didn't fly into the games. Really enjoy this book. Laughed out loud at some points in the story, in others rooted for the characters to make it right. Thanks for sharing. 👩🏽💻🍹
I read this book in one setting. It’s been a while since I read the books on the Technicians and I was amazed on how much I remembered about Helen and what transpired with the Collector. Highly recommended

I love the realism, the feeling of family. There is always something to make you laugh in every chapter. I love the easy style and characters who are real.
As always, Olivia didn’t disappoint on this one. EVERYTHING she writes is gold! I love how she wove the technician series and the mail order brides series together
I loved Micheal, Cherry, Helen and every other character in this book. They are quirky, funny, and DANGEROUS! My suggestion is Start from the beginning of this series and till you get to this one it will be a fun ride!
