This is a great beginning book for learning French vocabulary, for both children and adults. The book has beautiful, fun, colorful, and entertaining illustrations to assist with learning these thousand words. I recommend this book for anyone wanting a fun book to develop their French vocabulary for various aspects of life.

an excellent addition to a language course. when learning a language you've got to start from scratch like a child, so this is a great book to give you everyday vocabulary for the most common objects.

Easy to use, with cute pictures and stickers that weren't difficult to move if you got it wrong the first time. I actually liked this MUCH better than reading regular vocabulary books. This involved a little more interaction and brainpower. Plus, it was fun.

Found this on my childrens' shelf and started leafing through it. Dated, but cute, and useful words. Hopefully I'll retain some of them.

I bought it for our children. I like that all the pictures are actually pictures of clay.

Was a bit skeptical that this would be too easy for me as I started my second french language course (beginners Plus) but found it really useful to learn some everyday word. Definitely recommended for anyone of any age looking to start their french language course.
