In my defense, “don’t fall in love with your producer” isn’t exactly fair when your producer is Val Andrews, a sweet, talented, totally genuine prince in an industry of egotistical frogs. It’s especially not fair when your forbidden crush becomes a constant temptation while on tour with a vengeful ex and an enigma named Chad.
All I want to do is make incredible music and show the world I’m more than a vapid starlet. But when a cryptic memo reveals a sinister plot to destroy my career, it becomes clear there’s only one person I can trust—the one they said I can’t have.

Once again it was a fun and funny romance from Aly Stiles as part of this Work for It series in the SmartyPants Romance books. This was a quick and hilarious read. There were tons of laugh out loud moments, and lots of great characters, including our main couple, Val (short for Percival) and Larinda (called Larry at times!) Larinda is a country singer who has always been connected to a big name male country star and wants to break free and do her own type of music. Of course the record company wants to keep her doing what is popular and not what she wants. Sound like anyone? Val is a pretty much unknown music producer who we met in the last book by Stiles in this series, as the brother of Nash’s girlfriend, Paige.
Family for both of the main characters definitely made them who they are, as well as making what they wanted to do hard at times as well. Val’s family sucked, as we know from his sister’s book and exactly what they did to him. Larinda’s family loves her and is supportive, but can be meddlesome, even if not in the way she always thinks they are. Then we get crazy Chad back, and at times he kind of stole the scenes he was in. And honestly, there was something about Larinda’s ex, the big country superstar, that was reminiscent of Chad for me. For instance the way he would say things like “let’s hashtag this out!” And other stupid things he said or did.
Now one thing that I had a bit of an issue with is that it almost seemed like we skipped some of their getting to know each other. And I can’t remember if maybe that was in the last book, Play Smart, and I just don’t remember it as much since I was reading that for Nash and Paige. Other than that, this was a quick, funny read, and I look forward to more I hope in this series from this author!
I was provided an ARC of this book via the author and Smartypants Romance, all opinions are my own.
This was hilarious, while also being sweet and heartbreaking at times! This reads as a standalone but it has interconnected characters, and if you want the full comedic impact of Chad and to understand some of the stuff he's talking about, I'd start at the beginning. There are a lot of references to things from the previous books, but they aren't really necessary to follow along with Val and Larinda's story. If you find yourself saying "what in the world?" I'd start back at the beginning and you will understand what is going on. Despite this being Val and Larinda's book, I feel like this was Chad's book too.
This follows Larinda, a successful country music start who wants to take control of her music. She's found a young, new producer who sees her vision and doesn't try to walk all over her or shut her down when she has a suggestion like the rest of her team. Val is an unknown in the music industry, but he's got talent and Larinda wants him around. As Larinda's tour progresses, it becomes clear that there is chemistry between the starlet and the producer, however her team has clearly stated that she can't date her producer. Larinda has been "dating" her co-headliner Jarvis for years but she's had enough of his nonsense, but their record labels have other plans in mind.
Val quickly finds himself stuck between his own desires and protecting Larinda from some plot he can't figure out. Aided by none other than Chad from Sandeke Telecom, who becomes his new bestie and spy mentor, Val learns that her career is in danger and he will do anything for her. She is his ray of sunshine in a crappy existence, and she has been put in a terrible situation. Larinda is a people pleaser and has a hard time telling people no, she often gets taken advantage of. She gets some great advice from Val's sister about being the confident woman she is both on an off the stage which I really loved. I think we all walk a fine line between our professional self and our personal self, Larinda needed a little reminder that her two selves needed to be a little more alike.
Overall, I loved this! This has a great romance between two great characters, some great comedic moments, and some good emotional moments that will pull on your heartstrings.
Might contain mild spoilers 😅. I read all books of the work for it series so far and the books that Aly wrote are my favorites! So I was really looking forward to the release of 'stage smart' and was not disappointed. If you want to get all the jokes I highly recommend you read the previous books.
Val was introduced in the last book as the FMC's brother. Their family story is wild and made me really sad. Yet Val is a pretty decent human being and really cute. It was easy to relate to him and like him. My heart broke for him at some point and it actually made me cry.
Larinda is a country super star who does everything in the name of her career, but shows that she is more than a pretty face and has a backbone! I liked that character development for her.
Chad in all his Chad-ness and Val's reactions made me laugh so hard. He's just hilarious and I wish we could get his POV all the time. Plus Mer-nuts and Octopi?? What about the octopi? I can't even 😂😂😂 And what about all these flavored nuts? 😂
All in all this is an easy and low angst read with lots of fun and a beautiful love story. It left me smiling and crying.
**************
Among the new SPR releases, it's the romance that I liked the least at the moment. If the little couple is cute, the plot is boring and absolutely not dreamy. I am more sensitive to heroes who have everyday jobs, rather than the Taylor Swift clone and her producer xD
Larinda is a successful country singer. However, her professional and even personal life is dictated by her record company; for reasons of communication and marketing she is forced to have a false relationship with another singer, Jarvis, who thinks he is Mariah Carey. But Larinda is in love with someone else, Val, the young producer she managed to get to work on her next album.
As Larinda and Jarvis' joint concert tour begins, so do problems: Larinda discovers after everyone else that she has been engaged to Jarvis.
For his part, Val is in awe of Larinda's talent, by working with her, he learned to discover the young woman behind the public persona. Unfortunately, he seriously lacks self-confidence and doesn't even imagine for a moment that his feelings could be reciprocated.
As Larinda and Val get closer, the latter discovers that Jarvis is planning a scandal behind Larinda's back. And it's without counting on his tour bestie, Chad, that Mister Diva's machinations will be countered.
And thank god Chad is there, best character ever written *-* he orbits in another world, he comes up with completely crazy nonsense and in the end his role is super important ♥
I loved the concept of this. I liked the author's other books and writing style. Plus new Smartypants books yey. I like this series too. This felt a bit different character wise to her other books though for some reason.
I wanted to like this and I like to visualize the leads, I'm sure most do. But the look of Val described here I couldn't think of a cute and adorable person who is tatted up with a eye face tattoo as well. Except maybe a few musicians or celebs like Post Malone, Travis Barker or Bieber but not a fan of their skin art. Nothing against tattoos as well if done right. So I didn't quite gravitate to his appeal unlike the heroines constant gushing..
I'm also questioning the power dynamics these two have. For the sudden confession of feelings and all that. Not a big age gap, but she's an A list pop star at that but Val is like 23 a young producer. It was so sudden declaration of love, marriage and babies but both of them Larinda have intense feelings right away after the initial crush and subsequent working together. We didn't see any back story that would have made it better. I get Val makes her feel different and more empowered in her career trajectory plus music wise and I like that part. He becomes
There are funny and light moments in this that was ok, the whole spying thing and Chad a liason from Sandeke. The Sage and Coriander shenanigans were funny a bit odd but you just go with it. The whole ex drama was interesting. It was cute but not my favorite of the series.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Stage Smart is something special. Larinda Scott is a superstar, she has a career paved beautifully out for her, but the one thing is, she wants what she can’t have or really what they tell her she can’t. Val Matthews. Val Matthews is a magnetic force. He special, Larinda knows it. They make beautiful music together and she wants more.
So what happens when they both go for more? Shenanigans. Shenanigans happen! And it’s the best!
Aly has brought her gift of humor as well as her ability to break you with a story. Val is a tortured soul and Larinda is a people pleaser and this story is what happens when you realize your worth and know you are worthy. It’s such a wonderful journey of self discovery.
There also may be mer-nuts. And the world definitely needs more of that in our lives.
Aly Stiles's latest addition to the Work For It series, Stage Smart, is a delightful contemporary rockstar romance that captivates from the first page. The novel, standing at 258 pages, is a full-length romance that can be enjoyed as a standalone, making it accessible to both new and returning fans of the series.
The story revolves around the lives of two individuals who find themselves drawn to each other in the world of music and entertainment. The characters are well-developed, with their own unique voices and personalities, making it easy for readers to become invested in their journey. The emotional depth of the characters is one of the novel's strongest points, as it allows readers to truly feel the connection between the two main characters.
The plot is engaging, with a perfect balance of romance, drama, and humor. Stiles has a knack for creating tension and anticipation, keeping readers on the edge of their seats as they eagerly turn the pages. The author's writing style is fluid and captivating, making for an enjoyable reading experience.
One of the standout aspects of Stage Smart is the way it explores the complexities of love and relationships within the context of the entertainment industry. Stiles does an excellent job of portraying the challenges and triumphs that come with navigating such a unique and demanding world.
While the novel is not without its flaws, they are minor and do not detract significantly from the overall reading experience. The pacing, for instance, can be uneven at times, with certain scenes dragging on longer than necessary. However, this is a small issue in an otherwise excellent novel.
In conclusion, Stage Smart by Aly Stiles is a captivating and engaging contemporary romance that will leave readers yearning for more. The well-developed characters, intriguing plot, and thoughtful exploration of love and relationships within the entertainment industry make this a must-read for fans of the genre.
Messy and complicated, emotional and heartwarming, witty and absolutely nonsensical (*see Chad).
"I will always choose you," I whispered against his lips. "I will always choose you too," he whispered back.
Val and Larinda . . . goodness, these two tug at your heart for very different reasons, but their different backgrounds and shared love of music make them the perfect balance for each other. You'll want to cheer Larinda on; stand-up for yourself girl!, and give Val a giant hug─his parents are the literal worst. I adore the addition of Nash (Larinda's friend and Paige's boyfriend) and Paige (Val's sister) (Play Smart) as they navigate the egregious machinations from the label along with the *help?* of Chad. It's anyone's guess what goes on in his head, but he is kind of the unlikely hero. . .
*Chad... I do not understand a single thing this dude says or does. He is an absolute nut (Mer-Nut?) that brings so much hilarity to every story he's in. Aly Stiles, the only person who can make you excited about someone named Chad, real or fictional. This isn't Chad's story─I don't think our brains could handle him as a main character─but if you want more of him, check out Street Smart, Play Smart featuring Nash (Larinda's friend) and Paige (Val's sister) and Look Smart.
I absolutely love everything I’ve read from Aly Stiles! She has a gift for weaving words together and taking the reader along the journey with her characters. While reading her stories, I’ve been brought to tears, laughed out loud, and wanted to embrace the broken pieces of fictional people because they are written with such authenticity.
I was thoroughly entertained while reading Stage Smart. I found myself laughing out loud many times and became engrossed in the tangled web of deceit, forbidden love, spy missions, and of course the hijinks of the infamous Chad.
In this story we’ve returned to the world of Sandeke Telecom with their many subsidiaries, their most inept yet oddly adept and fiercely loyal employee Chad (and his wonderfully endearing idiosyncrasies), and are taken on a country music tour with Larinda Scott.
Larinda, the Princess of Country-Pop music, has been hiding her vivacious true self and business savvy beneath a layer of fear and the extreme compulsion to people please. At the expense of her own needs, wants, and creativity she capitulates to keep the peace. Eventually she’s manipulated by the executives pulling the strings at her Label and by her fellow tour star/“boyfriend” into a fake engagement. Her true desires war with her knee-jerk habit of saying “yes,” her fears, and the threat of losing it all. Can she find the fearless attitude she exudes while performing to sold out stadiums and use that fire it to live the life she truly desires? Can she carve her own path in the industry, in life, and in love? Read Stage Smart and find out!
Another excellent rockstar romance from Aly Stiles and Smartypants Romance in the Work For It series. I completely love these books - they’re not just perfectly written, great stories and excellent characters, they’re hilarious! Also perfectly steamy.
The plot of this one is very unique, with the female rockstar, Larinda, who winds up falling for her younger producer, Val (Percival), in a reverse age-gap, forbidden romance, since the label says he’s the one person she can’t be in a relationship with. Then, she’s suddenly having to tour with her terrible ex who the public believes she’s engaged to, and hiding the relationship with Val.
Jarvis, the terrible rockstar ex who Larinda’s touring with, seems to be planning an awful plot that Val and Chad (everyone remember Chad from Aly’s earlier books?), seem to stumble upon and the pair across and a new investigation is born - Chad and his “investigations” are a theme throughout this series, and I’m here for it! The boys working through Jarvis’s plan is a main plot of the book and just so hilarious. Larinda and Val hiding their relationship or fighting their feelings because they’re forbidden to be together is another.
I have to say, I cannot get enough of Chad - Aly, please give us more of Chad and his “pre-girlfriend” 😂 I just love him and his antics!
I need more of Stiles and her contributions to this series and the loose connections to Reedweather Media (from Penny Reid’s original Elements of Chemistry & Physics series) - I love her and her writing so much. Absolutely recommend this to all, whether you’ve read anything/everything in the Pennyverse or not. You could read this as a standalone and enjoy it, but will appreciate it best if you’ve read her previous books in the series (to at least get the most out of the original characters).
I can’t wait to eventually pick up the audio (whenever this comes out) for a series re-read!
I received an advance copy from Smartypants Romance and this is my honest feedback.
I knew from their first scene together that Larinda and Val were perfect for each other. What I didn't expect was... How much I'd love them together! ❤
Larinda is a sweet, passionate woman who's afraid to say no to those who made her. She's intelligent but plays dumb when needed. She acts all the time. Apart from when she's with Val. When she's truly honest also with herself.
Val is a music genius with generous heart but he doesn't believe he deserves anything great in life. Oh boy, how much he deserves everything best in the world. Not a bad bone in his body. He'd do anything for his loved ones, especially to protect them.
It's worth mentioning that I was reading till 5 AM because I couldn't put it down. I was so invested in the story and I loved Larinda and Val so much! I am always in awe how believable characters Aly is able to make, even in a romcom! I love her way with words. I highlighted some of the lines, cried, send some quotes to my friend, still crying... And then laughed when Chad appeared with his spy stuff. Or nuts. So many nuts! It's a bummer I'm allergic because I craved all this weird nuts combinations!
I also really enjoyed meeting characters from previous books - Nash, Paige and Chad who always brings humor to the most messed up situations. These three were a nice addition to Larinda and Val's story.
I can't wait for another one. I love when Aly Stiles brings me to tears but I also enjoy when she makes me laugh! I highly recommend "Stage Smart" if you need some kind of distraction from everyday life.
Y’all…I didn’t get it. If you’ve read my reviews, you know that I give high scores on my books because 1) I’m careful who I read. Once I find an author I love, I keep reading them. There’s a reason for loving them. And 2) I view books as an author’s baby so I don’t get pleasure in completely trashing a book for the sake of clout or whatever. I guess there’s a third reason: it has to have fatal flaws with characterization or story/plot progression that I can’t get over to give it a low rating.
But, for the first time in the Smartypants Romance universe, I struggled. I hate writing this review because I want to be fair, but Aly Stiles lost me with Stage Smart. I read Street Smart, Play Smart, and Look Smart, and I enjoyed those stories, but I think she tried too hard for the silly that she failed to fully develop the chemistry between Larinda and Val in a way that is believable. I will recognize that Aly Stiles is an insta-attraction/insta-relationship author. Through her other “smart” books, this wasn’t as pronounced as Stage Smart because I spent much of this book questioning Val and Larinda’s relationship. Even as a forbidden/secret relationship romance, I kept asking “why.”
I’m also over Chad Smith and Sandeke Telecom/Reedweather Media’s ineptitude. It’s time to move away from it or shade it in a different color because I wanted to love Stage Smart, but I just couldn’t.
“I won’t even say you’re everything I’ve always wanted, because I never dreamed there could be someone like you.”
For the love of mernuts and (bumbling) corporate spies, Stage Smart is a fun read! Aly Stiles gives readers an all-access backstage pass to rockstar tour life in book 8 of the Work For It series. Larinda Scott is a pop-country star who has dealt with vicious music critics, pressure from label execs, and been betrayed by her ex. Larinda yearns to break free of her popstar image and make music from her heart but fears the looming threat of obscurity. Val Matthews is an aspiring producer introduced to Larinda at the end of Play Smart (book 5). With a little prodding from his older sister Paige and new-found friendships, Val was finally pursuing his dreams. When Larinda’s lyrics and Val’s skills are paired up musical sparks fly. But their attraction crackles in the air when Larinda and Val lock eyes. I love this forbidden, workplace, found family romance. My heart broke for Val and I bawled when he found his true love and genuine family. I loved all of the character cameos from past books in the series. And of course, last but not least, Aly gives us heaps of quality time with Chad Smith…the loveable goofball whose awkwardness rivals all. Stage Smart is a quirky and wild ride brimming with humor, heart, and goofy corporate espionage. Aly’s extensive knowledge of rockstar life and beautiful writing make Stage Smart a vivid experience.
Aly Stiles is one of my favorite authors, and while most of her books are angst-filled dramas, her books in the Work For It series are much lighter, funnier reads.
In Stage Smart, Larinda is a music superstar who has found a new direction (and possibly a new love) with her latest Producer, Val Andrews. Unfortunately, her record label has a strict rule against dating her Producer, so any romance would be forbidden. Val joins Larinda on tour, but so does her vengeful ex and a spy named Chad. Soon, it becomes apparent that there is a plot to destroy Larinda's career, and Val is determined to get to the bottom of it to save her.
If you've read Aly's other books in this series, then you've met Chad and some of the other characters in this story. In typical Chad fashion, there is plenty of ridiculousness, spying, and Mer-Nuts going on here. There is a bit of suspense as Val works to save Larinda's career, and although this is mostly a lighter read, there are still some moments that pull at the heartstrings. I may have even teared up a time or two.
If you're looking for a fun, forbidden romance with plenty of laughs and just a touch of angst, then this is one that you'll definitely want to add to your TBR.
Troupes- friend to lover, forced proximity, forbidden romance, work place romance
Representation-
CW- child abandonment, cheating ex
Aly is at it again with a fast paced forbidden romance between a country starlet and her younger music producer!
This one is best read after Aly’s other Work for it books, as we finally get Larinda and Val’s love. story! There is so much in this one to keep you intrigued, the whole story take place on a TS inspired music tour with a fake PR relationship, a real secret relationship, Chad and his crazy mer-nut merch that has somehow made it’s way onto the tour and a evil scheme to slander Larinda’s name and end her career!
In the middle of it all Val and Larinda have had a year of working together tension to build on by the time they finally make it secretly official during the first leg of the tour!
This was such a fun, faced paced, crazy romp that has the best surprise conclusion that leave everyone with a HEA, well almost…
Another great addition to the Work For It series for the great Aly Stiles!
I knew going into this book that I’d probably have some sort of whiplash, whether it was because of Val and Larinda or Chad (IYKYK) and I did but I also found that there were some funny and heartwarming moments that kept me turning the pages to see Val and Larinda get the HEA they both deserved.
I really liked Val and Larinda. Larinda is a sweetheart who doesn’t always see just how strong she is. Val is a really good guy who hasn’t had the easiest life and at times lets the demons of his past run roughshod over his life. Their journey to their HEA was definitely an interesting one with a lot of ups and downs and situations that made my head spin at times, but I liked the chemistry and flow between them and how they got to know each other better as the book progressed and found that they could have the life they never even thought to dream of.
This was a fun read and I really liked catching up with Paige and Nash and seeing how their own HEA was working out. And then there is Chad. The guy still makes my head spin, but I have to say that he definitely keeps you on your toes.
I love everything SPR, love this series and love everything Aly writes. This book is so funny, heartwarming and has a bit of mystery. And it has Chad…freakin Chad!
Lorinda is a singing sensation that has hired a new producer who makes her love her music again. She has felt pressured her whole life, struggles to say no but has amazing parents who are her biggest cheerleaders.
Val - sweet Val- you just want to give him a big ole hug. He did not have a good childhood and his parents are horrible people. But, he is incredibly smart, talented and thoughtful person regardless of his upbringing. Lorinda loves how he produces her music and gives him a chance…just what he needed/wanted.
Lorinda and Val are so amazing together, bring out the best in one another and help each other find the right balance. They will make you laugh, swoon and cheer them on.
Chad…Although this book is Val and Lorinda’s story, he plays a huge role. He will make you laugh, confuse you, and come up with some crazy thoughts and ideas. Although a total pain…he does win me over by the end of the book.
This is my second book in the series by Aly Stiles I've read, and I loved it!! Even though I haven't read all the books, it was easy to read, and it could easily be read as a standalone, but then you would be depriving yourself of the silliness and wacky character, Chad! In all honesty, he may be my favorite!
But this book gets the 5 stars from the two beautiful souls who happen to be the two leads.
Val is impossible not to love. He's so sweet, so kind, so hot and tatted. He deserves all the love he never got from his parents (thankfully, his sis Paige and her bf Nash have his back) Despite his upbringing, he's got a lot of love to give to his crush, Larinda.
Larinda is hopelessly in love with Val, her new producer, but he's totally off limits.
This book is equal parts swoony romance and comedy. Chad alone is hysterical with his "spy missions."
I really do need to go back to the first book and see if the rest are on audio (especially with Ryan Lee Dunlap) because this series is just comedy gold!

Another beautiful book from the gifted Aly Stiles. Filled with warmth, angst, friendship, the glorious Chad, humour, wit, and, most of all, love, it has been an unputtdownable read. Val, talented music producer, sensitive, lacking in any sort of self-esteem and in love with kind hearted, equally talented, successful singer, Larinda, are working together as Larinda struggles to break out of the spider's web of obligations, machinations and unwanted relationships. As these two fall for each other, there are those around them who are not as kind or as selfless as they are. With a fabulous storyline, infused with the authors love for and knowledge of, music, Stage Smart combines all these elements with the wonderful madness of Chad, the ridiculousness of a posturing music star and the building up of Val's sense of self worth and Karinda's struggle towards career emancipation, Stage Smart will draw you in with a big hug and leave you with an even bigger one! 💖💖💖💖💖
Chose this as the eARC I receive as a member of the Smartypants Romance Patreon because Aly Stiles' Work For It books might be my favorite ongoing series.
This book probably could technically be read as a stand alone (there's explanations of relevant events in previous books where needed) but I feel like the supporting characters and world building benefit so much from having read the previous Work For It books by Stiles. So much of the wonderfully weird comedy here comes from Chad and I'm not sure you could truly appreciate him if you first met him here.
I guess this is just to say go read all those Work For It books so you can eventually get here and enjoy Larinda and Val's love story.
Friends to lovers, forbidden romance. I loved it. Add in the pretend boyfriend/fiance that nobody likes, the mer-nutty ‘undercover’ Chad, and a whole host of fun antics and it’s all a recipe for disaster, in the best possible way. In and amongst the joking and scheming there’s also some extremely intense and emotional scenes with a main character that is the most genuine, adorable and highly loveable person I’ve read about in a long time. This story makes me want to be a better person. It makes me want to gather up all my loved ones and protect them and love them and never let them go. A wonderful story that I didn’t want to end. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.
This series, especially Aly Styles’ additions to it are fun and enjoyable. I loved that we have a female country star and her producer.
Val has some major baggage and god bless Larinda and her heart. She just loves him exactly the way he is. I’m especially glad that she steps up and stands her ground on what she loves. Their romance has this gentle softness to it, they had such a long lead in to it, that the pining was just swoony.
Chad has 100% had his redemption arc. He was this side character that was just zany and made zero sense. But as each book continued he’s still him self but he has this code of ethics that you can’t help but love. Every time he’s on the page now, he makes me smile and laugh, as I try to figure out what he’s up to.
Stage Smart is a story about a very successful country music star (Larinda) and the unknown producer (Val) she hires to help her break out of the mold her label has forced her into.
This book is undoubtedly a rom-com (Chad's return alone ensures that - iykyk), but it's got plenty of feels and even a bit of a mystery/spy situation going on. Val is a bit damaged on account of having abhorrent parents, and Larinda is under the thumb of her record label and struggles to stand up for herself and what she wants. They're imperfect, flawed characters, but they're they kind of people you want to root for, and I loved their growth throughout the book (both as individuals and as a couple).
This is book 8 in the Work For It series from Smartypants Romance, but it can easily be read as a standalone - though you should start at the beginning to get the full Chad effect 😂
A story I didn't want want to put down! This author has a knack for making me giggle when she wants to. When Larinda goes on tour she wants to do the kind of music she wants to. Her label of course doesn't want that, they want tried and true.
Absolutely loved Val, felt for his younger years but he's overcame that. He's helping Larinda and also falling for her. These two are a sweet couple that you just have to root for. I love that their relationship doesn't come easy and has to fight for it.
Let's talk about Chad for a minute, this man and his investigations will have you snort laughing! Another great addition to this series!
She’s on the Elite List. The only list I’m on is the robocall spam list to refinance a mortgage I don’t have.
That idiot is a drop of melted wax.
My Review:
I vastly enjoyed the sparkling humor found throughout, although I struggled with the spinelessness of the main character of Larinda. However, the brilliance of Ms. Stiles’s clever wit and the oddity and/or adorableness of her other characters kept me invested in her tale. I smirked, chortled, and laughed aloud during perusal. I am enamored with her creation of Val and Chad has never been more out there while still on point. I’m still giggling over such comedic gold as “Someone liquify me!” and “emblem of speech” and the ever-keen observation that “Nothing brings people together like belt drama.”
