Alexandria Campbell was preparing for her big day but suddenly life started throwing one, two many lemons, forcing her to make lemonade mixed with a lot of alcohol in Jamaica. Once her world came crashing down, Dria knew life for her would never be the same again.
That was until she met, The Ares Banks. He quickly came in and made Dria forget about her broken heart. The love was instant and deep but will it remain as solid as the rocks on the sandy beach in Jamaica? Or will it fold like the clothes in her luggage, as soon as it rolls into the airport?
You know what they say, "I would rather love the right one too soon than the wrong one too long," and in Dria's eyes, Ares was the right one but only time will tell if it's too soon...
I liked the idea. Overall, it was good meeting this couple. A few issues bogged the story and the flow. The story needs a clean edit to check the grammar and syntax issues. Ex. I see is present, I saw is past tense, and seen needs a helping verb (ex) I have seen. Otherwise, the story was about a broken wedding, a couple finding a new love interest, a no-good gambling doctor, a scandalous man stealing friend, and brothers in some kind of mafia-type crew that was worth reading.
This was a beautiful redemptive love story!! I absolutely love this one right here! This my first book by the author ✍🏾 and can say she wrote a five star romantic book!
One thing Sami Rich is gonna do is write an amazing book. I read this book and felt like I was living it. I needed to know how it ended and it was perfect. 🤩
This was a great instant love read. It had the sadness, the happiness and the drama. I wish Dria had another moment with Tasha or we got to hear about her demise cause Lawd Dallas had a demise and I wasn’t mad at it. Ares knew what he wanted and didn’t play games about it even with Dria being scared. I’m glad everything with his brother situation was handled and everybody got to move on and come together. Now the epilogue with the kids confused me though cause who was the twins Adonis, Muse or Iris but at the same time it never said Iris was their child so idk. I just would’ve like clarity for that part but overall good story. Sammi kills me with the playlist though cause they be so good and make you wanna reread the entire book again 🤣🥰
This book was wonderful. It started with excitement and action. And TONS of DRAMA!!!!!! I’m so glad that the FMC was strong. Dria did not play!!! Right at the sign of heartbreak that girl tapped into her anger and was throwing this hands. ON SITE!!!! I absolutely loved that part. Going to Jamaica and finding Ares the way she did was truly fate. Dria has a wonderful heart. Ares mm mm mmm my lovely Ares. This man is kind, thoughtful and is all MANNNN!!! But let’s not forget that fact that this guy is 100% about THAT LIFE!!!! When it comes to those he cares about, this guy means business. It’s so romantic!!! ( sorry completely girl moment there) Overall with these two main characters even though both of their past are very tragic they are able to walk through, overcome and enter the light together. Now these supporting character, that’s where humor and respect lies. This is a solid group of individuals. They give and demand respect. My only issue with this book is that you can tell this book was written by a female. Not that it’s bad, just in the way the MMC moved and his responses through this book. Not a bad thing at all. But you could definitely tell the difference.
This was okay. Nothing to write home about. Everything happened entirely too fast in a short span of time. This had sooooo much potential to be great, but the author wanting it to be an instanalove hurt the story. We didn’t get to experience the downfall of Dallas, never had another run in with Tasha or nothing. Just page after page of repetition of how in love the 2 MC were. I don’t like a whole bunch of drama but the drama in here wasn’t a lot. It was enough to build a full story off of, and that ending was HORRIBLE. I’m still sitting here like “I want my time back”. It’s crazy because it had such a strong beginning. I almost stop reading all together when the MFC was at the gas station and instead of either calling Ares, her brother, cousin or just simply going somewhere where there would be ppl, this idiot goes into an empty garage even though she had a bad feelin after seeing the familiar car the sped away. Like u can’t be that dang goofy. But then I realized I skipped so much that I was already at the end, so I just finished it out. It was predictable. This my first book by this author. I’ll read another by her, but if it’s anything like this I won’t another.
This was my first time reading a book from this author and when I tell you she did not miss a beat. You have a new fan Miss Sammi now it’s time for me to read more of your catalog.
This was a very sweet urban romance with the mmc having bde and the fmc showing heartbreak without weakness and I loved that. There was humorous scenes as well as those that touched my heart.
The main fmc kind of annoyed me. I also felt like everything was rushed was everything on the time span of 2 months? There was no build no angst and the third act break 😒 no thanks
This book moved fast as hell. I’m still trying to figure out how the hell…huh? I’m a wreck lol but hot fkn dog! Typos and misspellings but it’s not bad. Perfect quick read for a day at the beach or getting your hair braided.
Immerse yourself in an enchanting love story that will capture your heart! Don’t miss out on the magic of this delightful romance—it’s a journey that will leave you believing in love all over again!
He was coming at her strong & ain’t give a damn who was tryna stop him, her included. He was like ima give you your space but we inevitable so soon as you figure out you can’t live without me I’ll be right here. Like talk heavy!!
This was a cute story. The editing needs some work with grammatical errors and misspelled words here and there. Ares was not playing about Dria! Dallas got what he deserved but I wish Tasha had a different outcome.
