Rise of the Weakest Summoner #9

Rise of the Weakest Summoner: Volume IX

Rate this book
Though the request they had received from the Elf Queen was certainly surprising and not easy to fulfill, Ast's group still managed to save Civienne's precious friend, at the same time, saving the Elf Nation from the threat of an evil cult lurking right beneath the capital grounds. Meanwhile, Asterios started learning a lot more about himself and his kind from his soon-to-be mentor, getting closer to discovering his true self, which is certainly an important aspect to study considering who it might be that had led the nefarious organization from afar.

Now that their job is done and Althea is no longer sick, she has a decision to make. Is she going to keep her promise and come back with them as Ast's teacher or is the queen going to try and stop her? Are they even going to have enough time to focus on his proper education amidst all the other affairs back home?

Considering the rather important upcoming date related to a certain joyous occasion, it might be a tad difficult.

Lost Memories and the Dragon Kingdom

Ast and his harem continues to grow and go on more adventures, but its also his birthday and he's going to get some super big gifts. "The Dragon Valley" is born. At the same time, the evil hole is about to become a dungeon that too is super evil and just wants to kill adventures. Ast and a team must confront and beat the core, but it's not going to be easy.
A New technique is attempted to open the seal in his mind, but new challenges arises.

Fun read, but long.

getting better as the story progresses

They were quite a few twists and turns in this volume, I loved each and every one of them. So looking forward to the next one and even thought I really enjoy the books, the audibles are adding an increasing layer of complexities that I am rather enjoying more and more. I know this is unreasonable, but hurry up and release them faster - I am not getting any younger here!

Terrific story telling - incredible series

The author does an amazing job of blending so many people and actions/reactions that there is no room for boredom or lazy attention to the story while reading. The series is a beautiful, colorful, and endearing work of literary joy. Very excited about Book 10!

I’ve been enjoying the whole series and making my way through each volume with haste. It’s a fun story and I do appreciate the world which has been presented - I know I’ll be keen to read volume 10 when it comes out.

The scenes with more graphic intimacy are definitely a specific taste, but I feel like they were at least a little bit more refined in this volume.

Good Read

I hadn't commented on this series yet. But I have to say that I'm really enjoying it. The build up is just about perfect for backstory and action. The sex stories can be skipped without losing anything. And your warned about them ahead of time. I'm looking forward to the next book

Another great installment

Great continuation of the story. One thing I did notice was that the adult themed chapters didn't have the hearts after the chapter title. Not a bad thing but a small change. Waiting for the next book to come out.

great book but a bit slow

The gang finally makes their town an independent state and with many plans for growth, however this means that the plot advanced slowly for most of the book. Good writing, necessary slow down, and many promises for more.

Tired.

The character interactions and the politics are sickly sweet. The conflict is rote and formulaic. This is getting tired, the book is more filter then story.

A little boring with mostly setup, well written and needed in a hectic story to bring back all the Characters from the past stories. Could have been a little better but in the end will be seen as a nice addition once the next volume comes out.
