Lea Griffith began sneaking to read her mother’s romance novels at a young age. She cut her teeth on the greats: McNaught, Woodiwiss, and Garwood. A firm believer that love makes the world go round, she still consumes every romance book she can put her hands on, but now she writes her own.
Lea lives with her husband and three teenage daughters in rural Georgia. Two dogs, a cat, and a beta fish named Coddy George complete a family that is always in motion. I've missed this author gritty stories.. Plenty of suspense, edgy romance and surprise twists. Looking forward to the next book in the series.. Along with waiting patiently for the next No Mercy book.

Holy wow

What an amazing story.
Captain and Ava love each other but she thinks he betrayed her. She was on the run for 2 years.
With the help from a truck driver who knows Tex, they are about to be reunited. Even if she isn't ready.
Ava is being hunted by the Russians and the Chinese. All because of her dad.
Tex has brought in Wolf's team to help protect her. Now she just has to live through it all.

Did you want intensity check, overwhelming emotions check, suspense check, action check & Alpha men to admire check! Lea gives us all in this book. Cap's determination is sexy & so full on. Ava stuns us with her brains. Tex as always brings a smile & add Wolf & team to the mix & what more can you ask?? Grab this read!!!! Honest review!

Even though it’s a fast spaced storyline it delivers context. It’s a very enjoyable second chance love story mixed in with so much action surrounding the premise. Easy one sit down read. First time reading a book written by this author, definitely won’t be the last. Looking forward to Olivia and Hollands story…fingers crossed it’s not a long wait.

Excellent

Ava had been on the run for 2 years. Ava got picked up by a truck driver who happened to know Tex. Captain had been looking for Ava for 2 years, the Chinese and Russians were after her. Good story.
