Audrey Quinn just wanted a quiet weekend in the woods to recover from a Very Bad Week. But a surprise blizzard strands her in a run-down cabin with an annoyingly handsome stranger, and things get... weird. Like, magical hot tubs, mysteriously cleaned floors, and a houseguest who’s terrible at chores (until they magically finish themselves) weird.
Unbeknownst to Audrey, she’s been marked as an offering to the fae realm. Rhain, Third Prince of Sepio, reluctant errand boy and her unwilling housekeeper, was only supposed to escort her back to the Otherworld. Easy—until she traps him in a magical contract that binds him to serve her.
Now stuck in a cabin full of enchanted loopholes, biting banter, and a talking cat with its own agenda, Audrey must figure out why her reality feels... enchanted. Meanwhile, the mischievous Spirit of Winter keeps meddling with their fragile truce (and maybe their hearts).
If Audrey wants her freedom, she’ll have to outwit a fae prince, survive the season’s schemes, and resist falling for the infuriatingly smug yet clueless man currently cleaning for her.
Snowed In with My Fae Prince Housekeeper is a cozy romantasy with spice, magical contracts, forced proximity, and one very passive-aggressive cat.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I rated it 3 stars, though I teetered on giving it 3.5 for a time. I really enjoyed Rhain's chapters; I felt like he was the most fleshed-out character with a palpable voice and character arc. Honestly, I wished the whole book was narrated from his perspective. I wanted to learn more about his life in Otherworld, the nature of his relationship with Najal, his parents, and his duties as the prince. I felt like the context of what made him who he was was lacking, but his personality was the most elaborated on. I felt like I knew him.
What stopped me from giving a higher rating was all of Audrey's chapters. To me, she felt 1-dimensional. It seemed like I was just told her qualities and not shown them. Any mention about her life before the cabin was briefly mentioned and she didn't have nearly as many flashbacks as Rhain. She seemed like a superficial main female character who was just a conduit to Rhain. I felt like her dialogue was overly formal (I could excuse this for Rhain; he's a fae prince. I could not excuse it for Audrey) and unrealistic. Any time I had to read "Captain Creepy," I felt my excitement for the story retreat into me. Audrey's chapters gave me the ick. Also, there's a lot of mention of breath. Rhain's cool breath. Audrey's breath. It seems like besides each other's eyes, all they could focus on were each other's "sweet" breath, lol.
I also felt like the ending was rather rushed and the feelings between Rhain and Audrey happened so quickly. Too quickly. Likewise, the consequences of what they'd done weren't explored. It was just too easily resolved into a "fairytale happy ending."
Overall, I think this book was good. I would've loved for more world-building and for Audrey to have a character arc, but I loved Rhain and Toast(!) who I felt were the most fleshed out. It's a good cozy read.
I DEVOURED this book! Once I started it, I could not put it down. It was the coziest fantasy and just made me feel all warm and fuzzy. Like sitting next to a fireplace, wrapped in a warm blanket, drinking hot tea.
The banter between the main characters had me laughing out loud. And the cat. A talking cat!? SOLD. Toast was my favorite. He was such a “cat” in the things he said and I couldn’t get enough of him. I need an entire spin off of just him.
The way this book ended has me dying to know what happens next. If you enjoy a cozy fantasy, please read this. You will not be disappointed!
This book is an interlude in my normal habit of reading and reviewing erotic romance. I'm glad that I made the time to read this!
Allyn Raye is a new author who has burst out of the gate with this enjoyable standalone book. There are a lot of things "right" about this story. It does not inundate you with characters in the first chapter, making it easier to appreciate the ones that are there without getting confused in the crowd. The dueling POV's for each chapter give valuable insight and are not just a change in the character speaking. The editing and proofreading here is excellent! And, there's an HEA to top it all off. What more could you want? Oh, wait. There's also a surprise at the end!
A lot of insta-love stories are terribly unbelievable. This story's take on the "trapped in a snowstorm" theme is not beyond my understanding. After all, it's all about the fae, which is all about the magic. And this book is certainly all about magic and the magic of romance. A talking cat who watches "Bridgerton" and steals scenes with dry one-liners that will have you laughing.
There are quite a number of sentences where I just looked up and said "wow, that's good." It's unusual to find, particularly with a new author, a unique voice that makes you sit up and take notice. This is such a book.
There is some graphic sex but no violence unless you consider the destruction of a certain wooden doll in the fireplace as a catastrophe.
Well worth your time!

* 4.5 stars * I devoured this book! Devoured it! What a breath of fresh air to read a romantasy book that was not all world ending gloom and doom. I would highly recommend this if you enjoy a little humor in your reads and/or if you are looking for a palate cleanser that is actually enjoyable and intriguing. This has been by far my favorite read of the year so far! Seriously forced proximity? Yes please!
The characters, and there aren’t many, but that’s ok, are all fleshed out well and are memorable. The interactions between the three main ones we spend the majority of the time locked in a cabin with are just amazing and it was a blast to see Rhain, a fae prince be outwitted by defense lawyer Audrey as well as endlessly annoyed by a stray cat.
And the ending!
There are a few times in the book when the descriptions are a bit heavy, but that’s a small complaint and better than not having any. As someone who struggles with being more descriptive, way to go in making sure your vision of this world that you created is fully on the page.
Thank you, Allyn Raye for creating such a fun world to get snowed in! I hope this becomes a series to see more play out and learn more about this world!

The book to me was a breath of fresh air it was quite fast paced for a cozy romance book. It felt a little too short so i couldn't really feel the coziness of living in a mountain cabin which was really disappointing. Also kind of a disclaimer but given the fact that the book was quite short ( i need more) i'm pretty sure everything happened in like 4days max. Which uhm quite fast paced for a cozy romance. This is not a slow burn at all. On the second day there was already a shift in their relationship. The reveal at the end was surprising to me bcz i thought it was Toast ,but oh well i'm pretty sure that cat has more to reveal. I will be reading the next book that'll come out in 2days i think. But yeah if you want a pallet cleanser that has banter, a strong willed female lead, insta love, and spice (skiped those scenes) you will like it. *I didn't buy this book i received it for free under the condition of posting an honest review*( and no it wasn't and advanced copy)
Allyn Raye has written a great cozy fantasy novel with Snowed in With My Fae Prince Housekeeper in which a Fae Prince and a lawyer each has his and her plans to stop things from happening.
From the beginning the plot and writing style sucked me in. It is a real cozy fantasy read with a lot of banter between Rhain and Audrey and that made me smile a lot. The dual POV was great as this way you get to know the main characters better. They are well developed and I loved them. Audrey is really smart and it was great to read how Audrey wanted to get out of the contract with the handsome Fae Prince. And the talking cat was just fantastic. I had a hard time putting the book down.
This story is a fun and easy read, with likable characters, a wonderful plot, it has magic, romance, all-in all a really nice cute story I enjoyed a lot.
This book picked my interest with the title. I wondered how a Fae prince was a house keeper and felt like it might be a lighthearted read.
The book moves pretty fast from the start and kept my interest as I was 30% through the book before I had realized I had not taken a break from reading.
The characters are likable and easy to enjoy. The story has an easy flow. The FMC is super suspicious and she touches on her history of stories her mother would tell her of the Fae when she was young. I wish the author would have expanded on this a little more. It would have helped make the FMC’s suspicious nature more solid and understandable.
The Fae’s character begins very focused with a single purpose, and grows into a totally different person as he tries every thing he know to achieve that purpose, but then realizes that his original purpose isn’t the way he wants to go. And, also realizing that there are other forces working against him in achieving his ultimate goal.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and found that I was not ready for it to end when it did. It did end in such a way that the author could write a sequel. I would definitely read it if they did!

The title seems a bit on the nose. However, Audrey and Rhain’s story was different. There were tropes, but they weren’t unnatural in the plot. I enjoyed that, but I think there was a lack of attention to detail. Without spoiling anything, the cabin where most of the book takes place was described as rudimentary (no power). Then towards the end of the book Audrey can plug in a printer in the cabin. A few cases of some contradictory plot lines that I couldn’t ignore. The book has so much potential and I can see it becoming a series! I would be interested in reading more and seeing where Allyn takes the world building.
Not the sort of book I’d usually read but the snippet I saw in Book Sirens intrigued me and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this tale of magic and mystery. The star of the book for me was the cat, Toast, his antics really made me chuckle. Rhian was a bit of a mystery, definitely rusty in his knowledge of the modern world which was also highly amusing. Especially as Audrey’s a thoroughly modern woman, clever, astute and not easy to trick. We cover some of my favourite tropes here Forced proximity One bed Enemies to lovers (sort of) I love a story with a sprinkling of magic and this was a quick entertaining read.
This series seemed interesting, so I accepted a free copy of this one.
This was definitely a different tale… Trickster Fae trying to steal humans. Weird. But what if the human is a lawyer? What if she can't be tricked? What if he falls in love, instead? So many questions!
Completely trapped with such an infuriating person. No escape in sight. Might as well buckle in and just try to get along.
I had higher hopes for the spice content, but it is what it is. The closest that we come to cursing is "Frick frack Cadillac", to give you an idea. That aside, it was actually really good! A little slow to start, but it does pick up. And we get to see into the mind of a cat!
This was a pretty darn good read! A new to me author but I will definitely be checking out her other books.
The concept and plot were one I hadn't really read before and I liked it. I really enjoyed the banter between the FMC & MMC. The FMC was one tough cookie! 😏
It did start off a little slow and not much info was given initially to help with the understanding of what was going on. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.
After I got into it though, I couldn't put it down! There were a few nice and spicy scenes that I enjoyed🌶🌶🌶 and the love 💜 between the main protagonists was very believable. Can't forget to mention there was a talking cat! He brought humor to the book 😂
Thank you Allyn Raye for the ARC! This is my honest opinion. 📚
This was a lovely, cozy fantasy romance that I enjoyed very much. I loved the blending of the modern world with a fantastical one, and enjoyed the one bed trope in a house. There was just enough spice that it did not overwhelm the plot itself, which can be difficult to balance. There is a side character in this that I absolutely adore and had me laughing out loud. I would have liked a bit more tension or relationship building between the two main characters as I didn’t quite connect with their feelings for one another. I am very intrigued by Rhain’s world and past and would love to read about that more. I loved the last chapter of this book and will definitely be watching for more books from this world!
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

"Snowed In With My Fae Prince Housekeeper" is a fantasy romance with fae and talking sassy cats and bored winter spirit who has nothing better to do then to mess around with people's life since the love to watch the "'Ton" 🤭
It was a fun, light read with a smart, self sufficient, lawyer FMC , a broody handsome Fae MMC and a super sassy, full of attitude talking cat ( who was my favourite character BTW!) .
I enjoyed this book for the most part. It was a cute, sweet, barely spicy romance. Every time I had to put it down I struggled with picking it back up. The characters weren't super relatable or likable, and bickered up until they got intimate. It definitely wasn't bad in anyway really, but wasn't my favorite.
I love the premise of this book, it's the reason I was drawn to request an ARC. I was hoping for cozy, some romantic tension, and a fair bit of magic. There was magic, and it was mostly-cozy, but it did fall flat on the romantic tension. I'm giving it three stars because there were funny parts and creative situations ( a nutcracker and a talking cat!).
This book was such a lovely and cozy read! Very funny and well written. The reader is in for lots o banter and some spicy scenes. Liked the characters although i was hoping for something more between them I just loved love it!

A very cute, easy read with light spice in the mix. I enjoyed reading about our smart and capable little lawyer and her gorgeous fae prince. I'm excited to read more from this author and see whose story is next.
I DNF this book. I read 20% and had to stop. I understand not wanting to have readers go through and information dump, but I was so confused about who these characters were, why I should care aboit them, and what they wanted. Also I did not like the FMC.
I received an advanced review copy and I thoroughly enjoyed the book! Watching Audrey’s hard exterior shed and Rhain allowing himself to experience something he hasn’t before. I’m not a huge fan of romance books, but this one was so cute to read!
My favorite parts were Audrey standing her ground about the contract catching Rhain off guard. And of course the best feline Toast! He was truly the star of the book always providing the comedic relief and honesty. I was quite excited by the last chapter being from his point of view and hearing a bit more about the spirit Winter. If there is a sequel I would be interested to hearing about how Audrey is adjusting in the Otherworld and if she gets around to solving those mysteries.
I loved this book! I read it in one day. It was the first fae book, but now I'm hooked. I need more Rhain's in my life. The reason for the 4 stars was that I didn't feel the emotional connection between the MCs. I could see the attraction a little bit, but it wasn't until after they kissed each other that I saw the emotional connection. The questions I had during the book were answered in the epilogue, which was great. I didn't care much for Najal, I didn't like what he did to Rhain when he came back home, but I would love to see a sequel with Madison and Najal. Maybe him finding someone to love would make him not as arrogant.
