A Life Interrupted, is a historical novel of Betty Hill and her extraterrestrial life set during the turbulent 1960's. Betty and her husband Barney, were a well-established interracial married couple living in white New Hampshire. They were the very first documented case of an alien abduction by extraterrestrials while driving through the White Mountain National Forest of New Hampshire.

'Betty a Life Interrupted 'is a fascinating read . I believe it to be one of the best books on alien abduction I have read . There is so much to be learned in this account of the Hill's extraterrestrial experience far beyond the 1975 movie 'The UFO Incident". Moreover, the book is so well written that a believable atmosphere is created in which one can clearly envision the scenes. Dodge writes with an open mind and compassionate perceptiveness in the effort to help the reader understand what motivates people to believe what they believe . Whether you believe in UFO's or not , this book is "unputdownable" and absolutely deserving of a 5 star rating !
The author makes you feel like you are there with Betty in her kitchen sipping whiskey and smoking Parliaments. Being born and raised in New Hampshire, I knew all the locations that were mentioned in the book. He makes you want to watch the night skies hoping to see what Betty and Barney saw.
