I really hate injustice… and Ryker Grayson.
Well, especially Mr. Grumpyson, because he is the personification of everything that is wrong with this world:

Arrogant billionaire,
egomaniacal bosshole,
ruthless breaker-of-hearts,
and because the universe is an exceptionally cruel place, he’s also undeservingly beautiful.

Nonetheless, I still believe in Karma.
Sometimes she just needs a little help, which is where I come in:
When I see something, I don’t say something. I do something.

My mistake was that I did Ryker Grumbleson before I knew who he was…
and then I also might have gotten him arrested right after. (Although that could have been Karma, who knows!)

In an attempt to retaliate, he tries to hire me as his personal PR consultant.
I begrudgingly accept because the money will allow me to save my 78-year-old friend and neighbor from getting evicted.
Now all I need to do is survive two looong and torturous weeks working under Ryker I aLwAyS gEt WhAt I wAnT Grayson.
WITH… I mean ‘working with’, definitely not ‘under’.

After all, I know better than to get involved with someone like him… again.



A slowburn, laugh-out-loud, enemies-to-lovers RomCom standalone with some steamy sizzle between an alpha bosshole and a strong and sassy heroine who can’t help but put themselves in close proximity of each other (although, that could be Karma too).

There’s a cat and the cat will be fine!

This book is filled with tons of misconceptions!!!! I really wish the enem1es to l0vers portion was stronger, but even when these two “hated” each other they were both secretly pinning for the other!

Quickish Review

With tropes of grumpy sunshine, enemies to lovers and workplace romance. I was in to love this. Humor’s subjective, so YMMV, I thought there’s alot of funny moments but a few too many of them that tipped it over into more cringe than funny for me.

I just wish that the romance itself had a few more heartfelt scenes instead of always going for the laugh.

That being said, I like elements of this and I’d read more from this author.

OMG! The snark and banter and wit was just hilarious! And WHO gets themselves into situations like this? Crazy!
Sienna is standing in the security line at the airport, on the phone with her soon-to-be ex-boss, who is busy firing her. Ryker, entitled rich guy that he is, proceeds to skip the line, his crying just-fired assistant behind him, pass the security guy a hundred, and be on his way to the VIP lounge.
Sienna is a big believer in Karma, also in helping it out when people seem to get away with things they shouldn't. So she follows Ryker, accosts him in the bathroom (ahem...) and decides to take his pants with her on her way out the door. You're welcome, Karma.
Sienna then goes and gets on the jet to go to her best friend's wedding. Who shows up just in time for the ceremony? Yeah - Ryker. Wearing pink pajama pants because some crazy girl stole his in the airport bathroom. Which got him arrested by airport security for indecent exposure, making him almost miss his best friend's wedding.
And that's just the beginning! Add in Sienna's neighbors - a group of geriatric gangsters with questionable boundaries - their billionaire landlord who is trying to evict them all, and a cat named Chairman Meow (among many, MANY other funny bits that you just wouldn't believe if I told you) and you have a recipe for a really witty and fun story.

This book is hands down, one of the best rom com books I’ve ever read. It’s now in my all-time top favorites list of all books I’ve read. Sienna is Nemesis. She would probably call it being a Karmic Warrior or Seeker of Justice. She sees people doing bad things to others and decides to effect retribution in a way that’s commensurate with the crime without being hurtful (or a felony) and without getting caught. She meets Ryker during the course of her day, when he fires his assistant . She has a moment with him that will make you think differently about airport bathrooms, delivers a little karma, and it’s on. This is a slow burn, grumpy-sunshine, enemies to lovers, workplace romance with no cheating and no S.A. It is hysterically funny- I laughed so hard I scared the cat. And it has tender moments, which gave me the feels. The zexytime scenes were measurably hot. This book is the whole package and I highly recommend it.

Ah, what can I say other than, excellent!!! In short, the story is excellent, although a little slow at the beginning, but the more you read, the more it draws you in. Lilovi du hilarious, sweet, humorous and sexy at the same time. I love when opposites attract, frowning men and cheerful women. Ryker is just such a character, tough on the outside and soft on the inside. While Sienna is exactly what every man needs. Hard-working, loyal, but with a strong character and independent. Their confrontations, arguments and mutual fights are totally hilarious and her team O-team is excellent. The topic and the plot itself do not have any depth, but the way of writing is excellent and interesting and really draws you in so that you cannot stop until you reach the last page. at times I was literally screaming with laughter, I was angry, but all in all, every recommendation for this book is excellent from me. Definitely something to take with you on holidays and enjoy.

The pace was just all over the place. Started out strong and promising and then quickly dropped to a mostly boring crawl with no action until 75% and then the last 25% of the book was up, down, and sideways and not in a good way. I got whiplash at the end over how abrupt these two went from hating each other over a misunderstanding to all is well, love and peace. An employee does some extreme shady stuff and one second the MMC is furious and the next he is giving her a lump sum and telling her she must continue working for him despite her terrible judgment and attempt to end his romance. I almost DNF. It does have a happy ending and no cliffhangers so I'm not totally miserable but I do feel like I wasted my already limited time on this one. I had a really hard time imagining these characters (in my mind) also and usually that comes easily to me.

Hysterical Opposites Attract with Zany Capers and Amazing Characters - So Much Fun!

This book was so much fun I couldn't put it down, and couldn't help cheering for Sienna and Ryker to get their HEA. Despite appearing to be complete opposites outwardly on the inside they are both quite alike once Sienna gets to Ryker's "cinnamon roll" interior, and their chemistry is off the charts steamy from their first meeting in the airport bathroom. Add in "the chairmen committee's" antics and more laughter ensues. The book was well written, flowed easily, and the characters were well developed. I look forward to reading more from this author - Enjoy!

I absolutely adored this book. I can’t remember the last time I laughed myself silly throughout the entire book and not just at the main characters. Lemme just tell you, grandma is hilarious. It’s lighthearted, the ust is there but it just makes things better. Ryker doesn’t take everything so serious that he can’t banter, joke, and play childish games. Sienna is similar but really believes in her golden rule - don’t be a dick. There has to be a bit of a mystery of course, and there is, but it’s handled in a hilarious way and quickly resolved. Even the friends are goobers. I recommend this book completely without hesitation.

A captivating romantic comedy that I couldn't put down. I absolutely loved the push and pull between our main characters Sienna and Ryker. Loved the steamy chemistry between them in this enemies to lovers romance. Sweet and steamy and laugh out loud humor is everything I want in a romance read and Swanson delivered! Well written with a smooth flowing storyline and captivating characters. I can't wait to read more!

The FMC believes in karma and isn’t afraid to help it along in seriously hilarious ways. She has a found family of hilarious and sassy senior citizens who get up to all sorts of trouble. The enemies to lovers slow burn tension in this book is chef kiss perfect. Really enjoyed this read and I will no longer be able to think of a group of older people without calling them a “wrinkle” of seniors in my head. If you love hilarious, slightly spicy romance then don’t miss this one.

Look out for this new author, she's into s.th.

Sienna has a weird urge to help karma get bad people, when Ryker cuts the line in the airport/ bribes the TSA officer and fires his crying assistant on the spot, Sienna decides to get revenge on behalf of the universe.

As any sane woman would do, she has wild passionate sex with him in the airport bathroom and then steals his pants so he would be arrested and humiliated publicly.

The story continues to be unhinged and filled with angst too ^^

I really enjoyed reading the story 'Resting Grump Face' by Quinn Swanson. It was so complex with different storylines to it. It was extremely well thought up and so funny as well as romantic. I loved the effect these two characters had on each other and each page just got better and better. It was so much fun to read and kept me enthralled from beginning to end.

This is Ryker and Sienna’s story.
This is a well written story which is a slow burn, with enemies / lover’s romance, opposites attract, humor, witty banter, palpable chemistry, emotions, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy addictive page turner.

So entertaining

A true Rom Com. This author has a great turn of phrase. I can't remember the last time I was so entertained by a book. I'm sorry it ended. Her senior friends were a real hoot and the back and forth with Grayson were so cute. Read this book, please. You won't be disapointed.

Then The O team was just a very extra good extra!
