Scot Louie writes a delicious cookbook. What I liked: he gives a list of substitutions for his spice mixes right up front, there is a short and sweet paragraph before each recipe, the majority of his recipes have items I have used before or I know where to get them and the food is something I will eat. What I didn’t like: Scotch Bonnet Aioli, not trying it, yep, I’m a wimp.
I made the Breakfast Pockets first as I had those ingredients handy and I already have a list going for the Sweet Sausage Smash Burger. Yum

I haven’t gotten a chance to cook out of this book just yet, but after flipping through the recipes I am so excited to create some delicious meals!!!

Just spent by morning putting sticky notes on the recipes I would love to try. There are a lot of notes. Looks like this will be my go-to cookbook. Everything looks yummy.
