Avery
Applying to be a contestant on a reality dating show is the last thing I ever thought I would do…Well, aside from actually being on a reality dating show, that is. But here I am on Heart to Heart, hoping to come in second place.

Yes, second place.

I know how crazy that sounds, especially since this season’s love interest is none other than Tristan Tate, the former Sexiest Action Star Alive, and my teenage crush.

Oh, who am I kidding? He’s my today crush, too.

But I can’t think of Tristan or how his lips or his rock-hard body would feel pressed against mine. Not when my parents are in dire financial straits and the prize money awarded to the runner-up would solve all their problems.

Besides, it’s not like I have a chance with Tristan anyway. Or do I?

Tristan

One night of stupidity left my career in shambles, but with my new agent at the helm, I’m ready for a comeback. I just have to get through this reality television gig, win viewers over, and not fall for any of the contestants. If I can manage that, I’ll have my career back, provided a wrench doesn’t get thrown into the whole thing.

Enter Avery Martin: the wrench. Avery stumbled into my life, quite literally, and I haven’t been able to get her out of my mind since then.

And that’s a huge problem.

Because the more time I spend with Avery, the more I’m second-guessing everything I thought I wanted, and the harder it is to keep my hands off her.

Well, it you want a book that will already have you laughing while reading the dedication, read Heart to Heart by Sara Furlong Burr! The laughs don’t stop there.

Avery and Tristan’s story is my favorite Bachelor- type read yet. Celebrity Tristan needs the show for career reasons and is instructed by his agent NOT to fall in love. When Avery goes on the show due to needing quick money, will he be able to keep that promise?

This is the type of book that makes me happy. Tons of pop culture references, and fun articles about the show between the chapters. There are different rules to this dating show that I think are really creative and I would like to see on TV! This book is totally standalone, but it was clever to hear a reference to another book the author wrote. Compliments to her for so obviously knowing and loving romance. She nailed the tropes and got many in there without it feeling crammed. I was thrilled to find out that this is a series, and there will be an In Reality #2 coming our way!

My only problem, after working in reality TV, is that this was the most inept camera crew ever. OH, the good things they missed! Where were they- at the craft services table? These people should never be able to sneak away or not have a camera on them. Although they missed a lot, and I’m talking about at least three scenes they should be fired for missing, we did not, and that's all that matters!

Thank you to the author for the eARC; I was not required to write a positive review, and only write honest reviews!

When Avery is desperate for cash to help her family's bakery so she can fulfill her dreams of heading to law school, she applies to be on a reality dating show with the goal of coming in second. The lead is her childhood idol, action film star Tristan Tate, but she wants the runner-up prize: cold hard cash. What she doesn't expect is the level of infighting among the women or the true connection she and Tristan seem to have. Meanwhile, Tristan feels an immediate spark with Avery, but knows she isn't cut out for the world of reality television nor does he want to enter a relationship when he's simply trying to rehabilitate his image. But when Avery reveals she's there for the money, to help her family, he vows to do what he can to help her come in second--even when he doesn't really want to pick anyone else.

I love celebrity romances and reality show romances, so this mash-up of the two was right up my alley--especially as an avid watcher of The Bachelor. There were loads of laugh-out-loud moments in this book and Avery is a heroine you really want to root for--someone you'd want as a friend. Some of the antics bordered on too outlandish, and I wish we could have seen more the public's reaction, but this book was a joy to read from start to finish. Just so much fun! I can't wait to see what other reality show romances Burr has in store next.

Thanks to the author (and, admittedly, my good friend) Sara Furlong Burr for my eARC of this book! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

“Heart to Heart” is a Bachelor-inspired romantic comedy that takes place on the set of a reality dating show, and tells the love story of Tristan Tate, a famous celebrity, and Avery Martin, one of the contestants on the show.

This was my first time reading something by Sara Furlong Burr, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially since I don’t watch reality dating shows myself. But I actually really loved everything about Tristan and Avery’s whirlwind romance!

I thought that Tristan was a very swoony love interest. Even though there were originally 25 women on the show, his interest in Avery was obvious from the very beginning.

I think he could’ve been a character that was very cocky, arrogant, and full of himself, but I really loved that he wasn’t.

And Avery!!! She was such a genuinely good person, the kind of woman who has a big heart and a kind soul. Because of this, a lot of the other contestants were really jealous of her, and she was sabotaged more than once.

What I loved about Avery is that she managed to be quirky and down-to-earth while still defending herself when necessary. I highly recommend this book!

This was such a cute book. Think of the reality show The Bachelor. Avery gets talked into auditioning for the show Heart to Heart by her friend and her celebrity crush- movie star, Tristan Tate, is the bachelor on the show. But, she’s more interested in the prize money to help her family. Both find themselves interested in the other.
This book was a sweet romcom. It was an easy, fun read. I definitely enjoyed it! This is my first book from this author and it won’t be my last. Congratulations Sara Furlong Burr on a breath of fresh air book ❤️☺️

I found the synopsis for Heart to Heart while scrolling through Instagram and it immediately hooked me. As an avid Bachelor watcher, I knew this book would be right up my alley and immediately signed up to be an ARC reader and added the release date to my calendar just in case I didn’t get picked because either way I was going to be reading this book! Well I got lucky and was picked to be an ARC reader and I was thrilled!
The premise of the book is that the FMC signs up to go on Heart to Heart (basically The Bachelor) to try and make it to second place so she can win $50,000 and save her family’s bakery that has been hit hard by the pandemic. Tristan is a former movie star who is trying to revive his career and decides that Heart to Heart is the way to go about it. He walks in on production and sees Avery’s audition tape and is instantly drawn to her and tells producers that she has to be a contestant or he will walk away from the show. Night one antics ensue and Avery is an instant fan favorite because of the chemistry between her and Tristan.
I loved the female friendships in this book, especially Sasha who had some hilarious one liners and said what everyone was thinking!
The chemistry between Avery and Tristan was genuine and I found myself getting all in my lovey feelings reading their love story unfold!
I absolutely loved all the Bachelor references (the wall jump and the windmill IYKYK), references to different book tropes and I could not put this book down! I highly recommend it if you love reality dating shows, want to swoon, or need a feel good read. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future!

Anything based on a reality dating show is right up my alley. I loved that when I was reading this book it felt like I was bingeing my favorite reality show (though the way the show in the book was structured was way cooler than anything we have on TV right now). I also love a dual POV, and especially when both are told in the first person. There was a lot of playful dialogue with awesome BFF side characters. I devoured this one and am already sad it’s over. Although this was released just in time for Valentine’s Day, I would recommend this book to a contemporary romance lover for any day of the year! Thank you Sara Burr for the eARC copy!

I absolutely loved this book so much so I wanted a bit longer with our characters and their story. The characters were very well written and had so much growth together and individually. I laughed so hard at some of the scenes and the antics that took place behind the scenes. Avery was so relatable and funny. This is my first read by this author and definitely not the last! I absolutely loved her writing style and world building. I definitely recommend reading her work it was absolutely hilarious and had me hoping my neighbors couldn’t hear me cackling to myself!

“When we’re together, it’s just us. You’re all mine, Avery.”

✨Romcom
✨Strangers to Lovers
✨Celebrity Romance
✨Reality Dating Show
✨Who Did This to You?

Okay, so think of the show The Bachelor. This is exactly what this book is. Avery gets persuaded by her best friend to audition to become a contestant on Heart to Heart, a famous reality dating show. This season’s bachelor is none other than movie-star Tristan Tate, Avery’s celebrity crush. However, Avery isn’t looking to win Tristan’s heart as she’s more interested in the prize money, and Tristan is only doing this show because his agent convinced him this was his way to get back into Hollywood. Even though neither are looking for love, both recently went through humiliating breakups, Avery and Tristan can’t seem to stay away from each other.

I thought this was a cute romcom to read. It’s was like a breath of fresh air, to be honest. Lots of laughs, tons of tension, and loads of drama. It felt like I was truly watching a reality dating show. I’m not one to watch The Bachelor, but this plot and story seemed pretty spot on when it comes to the overall aspect of the show (or at least what I would expect). This is my first read by Sara Furlong Burr, and I thought the author did a great job creating a lighthearted, fun, tension filled romcom that also keeps on you on your toes, because you never know who Tristian will eliminate next.

Avery was cute a bit of a klutz, but a sweetheart. She can stand her ground and tell you how it is, but then help you up when you’re down. She’s the ultimate best friend everyone deserves. She loves her family enough to go on a reality dating show to help save her parent’s bakery. That’s some dedication right there.
Tristan was also a sweetheart and did the best he could during this show, given his circumstances. Even though he wasn’t fully in during filming, he tried his best and gave it his all. He’s a hard worker who just wants to be understood. Tristan is extremely kind and sweet to Avery, and I loved watching their chemistry grow and their spark burst into flames.

Overall, I thought this was a good read, and definitely recommend to anyone who loves The Bachelor, or any reality dating show for that matter. Huge shoutout and thank you to Sara Furlong Burr for the ARC!!!

Heart to Heart was a great read! The writing was easy to follow and well written. From someone who hasn't watched The Bachelor (I know silly) I loved every part of this book and storyline. I thought it was a great idea for Avery a small-town gal to enter a huge contest. I loved the emotions and banter between Avery and Tristan it was fun. I thought the competition was very funny and had a lot of laughable moments it was very entertaining. Of course, you always need to have some mean girls in a competition but were they really mean? Overall, my experience reading this story was great and I would recommend, it was full of events, heart break, and love.

Thank you for this e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

This book is for all the girls who love reality dating shows! I, however, am not a huge fan of those. I can watch some.. Anyway back to this story. This story was so cute and lovable! I loved both Avery and Tristan!
Avery is a simple girl who's trying to just make it thru school but when she's dumped by the worst guy possible. She's sad and lost. Her amazing friend Kiki makes her do this reality dating show to help her family out.
Tristan was a HUGE name in action movies and then got dragged thru the mud. He's trying to make a name for himself and make a comeback. This is his chance. A reality dating show with 25 women vying for his attention and his heart. This is a he falls first and will do anything for the right girl.
America falls hard for Avery. She is favorite among the girls. What I love the most that despite the shenanigans that happen on the show, the most unlikely friendships form among the girls and one even finds love with someone else.
Also Tristan is incredible. He finds out why Avery did the show and decides to take upon himself to save the business himself, proving to her just how much he's not faking it and in love with her. He was such a sweetheart and he checked off all the right troupes for a book romance!! You will truly love this book with all it's fun characters and watching the dating show antics!

This was so fun! I never watched the bachelor or any other reality tv show so I was very hooked with the ins and outs of the production of this kind of show.
Avery , law student , have the worst break up so she returns home to be with family and realize her mom’s bakery is in trouble.
Her best friend Kiki convinces her she has to enter this heart to heart reality tv show with actor Tristan Tate , her teen crush and win the thing so she can help her mom or at least have fun with it.

Tristan, actor in need of a big publicity has his own reason to accept this kind of exposure but .. 25 beautiful women???

These two connects from the beginning, but not only the romance was great also all the making , the contestants, this smart women who have their dreams too!
Make me want to watch a rerun of this show now

Thank you for the advance copy Sarah
I enjoyed it a lot!

Such a fun read!! Avery submits an application on a whim for 'Heart to Heart' a reality TV dating show reminiscent of The Bachelor, and hilarity and romance ensue. It took me a little bit to get into, I'm not really a fan of the Bachelor, but otherwise, it was a wonderfully written rom-com that had me giggling at points.

In the “In Reality” series’s book 1, we meet MCs Tristan and Avery. The plot gives some major “The Bachelor” vibes from reality TV, but the plot and the characters are just awesome. Such hilarious banter between the two MCs and you just can’t help but fall in love with them both! This was my first read by Sara Furlong Burr and I’ll definitely be checking out future novels by this author! Great read!

This was a super cute book. I've seen the Bachelor a time or two (although admittedly it has been a LONG time since I've watched it), but I have seen UnReal so this was extremely believable to me. I'm not surprised in the least with the manufactured drama in the show.

I loved Tristin and how he was immediately drawn to Avery. I loved that he knew she had to be on the show the moment he saw her video.

Avery was super sweet, caring and genuine. She would do anything to help people she cared about, case in point...her going on the show to begin with.

This book had me laughing throughout the whole story, especially the official first meeting between Avery and Tristin. I was both laughing and dying of second hand embarrassment from that scene alone.

This is a delicious little rom-com that is begging to be put on the screen. The characters were easy to like and early on, I even found myself crushing on the disgraced former action hero, Tristan.
The "Bachelor Nation" vibes were strong, which I loved. Give me all of the roses!! Or, in this case...Give me all the key pins!!

If reality dating shows and rom-coms like Bridesmaids are your thing, this book will be your thing! Treat yourself to a copy of this charming, spicy, modern fairytale by Sara Furlong Burr. It's the perfect little winter read. Or beach read. Or rainy weather read. Or. Any dang time read.

Heart to Heart is a romantic comedy that takes place during a Bachelor-like reality show. This is a stand alone and a book that will make you believe in romance...

-LOL moments
-Romantic comedy
-Celebrity romance
-fake dating
-Hollywood heartthrob
-Small town girl

"My first day of filming and I had already single-handedly brought production to a screeching halt, ruining a suit that cost more than a month’s pay for the average person in the process. If not for the abject humiliation, I’d almost be impressed with myself."

Sara Furlong Burr is a new to me author but let me tell you, I loved this book and her writing was amazing. An easy, fun filled story that had me laughing at the turn of every page. The fun idea of a bachelor type show made into a story had all the elements of the perfect rom-com. I loved both of our characters. Avery, the soon to be lawyer and Tristan, the Hollywood heartthrob. the journey through their relationship Wass a slow burn but when they got together...boy howdy, turn up the fan! Their characters had the right mount of angst and comedic relief. I enjoyed each of their interactions and the story flowed perfectly. I loved the side characters as well. Kiki had me rolling and her boyfriend, Ethan was just as funny. The way this story is told kept the story fresh and again, this book was hilarious. If you are looking for the perfect summer read with all of the feel good moments, this book is for you. I haven't enjoyed a story like this kind in a very long time.

Heart to Heart is book one in the In Reality series by Sara Furlong Burr. This is my first opportunity to read a book by Sara. Reality TV is one of my guilty pleasures, and this one fits right in!

Avery, FMC, applies to be a contestant on a reality TV dating show called Heart to Heart to help save her parent's failing bakery business. The catch is she only wants to come in second place. Yup, you read that correctly. Second place. Why? Because she has no intention of falling in love and because the second place has a big cash prize. Little does she know that all that will change when she actually meets the show’s love interest!

Tristan, MMC, half-heartedly decides to star in this season’s Heart to Heart to try and jumpstart his career, which is currently in shambles. This action star heart-throb has no intention of falling in love with any of the contestants; this is just to gain new fans. That's all well and fine until Avery literally stumbles into his life, cake and all.

The book reminds me of a fun behind-the-scenes look at what happens on a bachelor-type show. It is a cute book and an easy read. I really enjoyed Avery’s character and found her relatable. If something can go wrong, it will! I can relate! I am interested in what book two will bring.

Thank you to Sara Furlong Burr for gifting me an eARC of Heart to Heart. I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is Book1 in the In Reality series and if the rest of the series is as good as this one, then we are all in for a treat.

This is the story of Avery and Tristan. Avery just got dumped by her boyfriend after she found out he is cheating. She has also found out her parents’ business is struggling. Tristan is an actor who needs good PR to re-invent himself after a public breakup.

How do these two people from different states and lifestyles meet? Cue up a reality dating show with Tristan as the “prize.” But here is the twist, Avery does not want to win. She wants the money the runner up gets to help out her family.

This romcom is a sweet romance with just a hint of spice. The characters are likeable and funny. Avery is klutzy sweetheart with a genuine kind heart. Tristan is down to earth and while he does not want to be on the show, desires a real relationship.

This was a great plot and a unique twist on the famous reality dating show that will not be named. This author built a wonderful world full of characters you wanted to know. The plot flowed smoothly, the dialogue enhanced the story, and it even had a sweet side romance thrown in for fun.

This is the first time I have read this author, and it will not be the last. You will read this book with a smile on your face.

Fans of the Bachelor/Bachelorette, read this book! If you’re looking for a good romantic comedy, this is it. It had me captivated from the beginning.

The premise of this story is based on that of the show. The author did some sneaky work by inserting particular scenes from the actual show without being to obvious. I know I appreciate the telling of a story in both characters point of view, that way you have a more rounded perception about what is actually happening. This author did just that.

The main male character was swoon worthy. And not just physically, but emotionally too. This story has all the good feels, along with all the good tropes too (I.e. protectiveness, good girl, fake dating, HEA, etc.). The main female character is beyond relatable to all of us common folks wishing they could shoot their shot with our favorite Hollywood leading man.

The story follows that of a contestant on “Heart to Heart” (the equivalent of ‘The Bachelor’). This different angle gives the reader some understanding of what actually happens behind the screen of a reality show such as this. (Not that everyone knows what exactly happens).

I was rooting for the main characters the entire way though (and for some of the other unlikable characters if I’m honest 😉). The spicy scenes were just the right amount to keep it interesting but not over done. I would honestly love to see the story continue and find out what happened after it all.

❤️💛

Avery is a college student who just had her heart broken, so naturally her best friend tries talking her into auditioning for a reality dating show. This season will star Tristan Tate, Avery’s long time celebrity crush. She doesn’t want anything to do with love until she finds out her parents bakery is struggling and the runner up on the show gets a nice monetary payout. All she has to do is make it on the show and get second place. What she doesn’t expect is the connection she feels with Tristan.
I loved this book. It was a quick, easy read and it was truly cute and funny. I had plenty of laugh out loud moments along with sweet ‘aww’ ones as well. I felt like Avery is a character easily relatable to many people. She’s doing all this to try to help her family, but that doesn’t stop her from having insecurities or second guessing herself almost the whole way. Tristan is a swoon worthy movie star, but he’s down to earth, too. I loved their easy, instant connection and their banter.
This is the perfect rom-com for anyone looking to laugh and fall for characters that remind us it’s okay to love and that the best feeling is knowing you’re truly loved back. Family, romance, friendship: love is what keeps everything going.

Heart to Heart by Sara Furlong Burr

Avery is a broke college girl from Michigan who was recently dumped by her boyfriend. She finds out that her parents are in need of money and so she decides to go on a dating reality show where the second place winner gets a cash prize. The bachelor on the dating show is her childhood celebrity crush Tristan Tate. Tristan sees Avery’s audition tape and hand picks her to be on the show. But will she choose the money or the man?

I loved this book! Avery is so fun and quirky and is unapologetically herself. Tristan is sweet and caring and is enamored with Avery. I thought this book was so fun because it is different than anything I have read. It was fun to see the “other side” of reality show, although fictional. I loved how Avery and Tristan were unsure of each others feelings but not in a painful, drawn out way, that made my heart ache. I thought this book was funny and I loved how it didn’t follow the exact path that I was thinking it would take. Lastly, this is a Michigan author, so of course I have to support my home state. But honestly, Sara did such an amazing job on this book! I am a Tatertot forever!

Overall 5/5 ⭐️

ARC Review!

This story features a reality TV show reminiscent of 'The Bachelor'. Avery, a law student who initially hesitates about joining the show, is determined to win the second-place prize to help with her parents' debt. And who's the bachelor? Meet Tristan, an action movie star whose career was derailed after an encounter with the paparazzi and is now seeking a comeback.

With Avery's clumsiness and down-to-earth character, she becomes a fan favourite, and even Tristan can't resist her charm. The unexpected happens as the two hit it off, despite Avery aiming for the runner-up spot and Tristan's primary goal being a career revival. The last thing they expect is to fall in love.

While I found the book to have a slow start, especially as it takes over 100 pages for the main characters to meet, the story then takes off, and I couldn't put the book down. There are plenty of laugh-out-loud moments with Avery's mishaps, and the dynamic between the two kept me hooked. Even for those unfamiliar with 'The Bachelor,' this book is highly entertaining and has sparked my interest in reality TV. I highly recommend it, especially for fans of reality television.

I absolutely loved this book. Such a sweet, slow burn, Bachelor Inspired book. Avery, FMC, just got her heart broken and also found out her family is having money problems. Then there's Tristan, MMC, who is a blacklisted actor trying to get his reputation back on track and get some acting jobs so he is becoming the main guy on the show Heart to Heart. Multiple women come on the show to try to be the last one he picks on the show. Avery decides to apply for the show because she hears you can get money if you get far and wants to help her family.

Avery is sweet and has a big heart and also had a huge teenage crush on Tristan Tate. So many cute moments happen in this book and also some sabotaging just like the show that's on in reality. I don't want to give anything away just know this is a wonderfully written story that will have you not wanting to put down. I also enjoyed reading about her friend, Kiki, who is a riot. Will also say I was shocked on another character in this book. Loved. Definitely recommend this book.

This is my third book by Sara Furlong Burr. Needless to say, I'm a fan! Both Avery and Tristan made sympathetic and delightful love interests, and Burr's trademark sense of humour shines through the pages.

Last year, I treated myself to watching the Bachelor solo, and it did not take me long to become completely absorbed by the characters and drama. I've been missing those moments in front of the TV where no man in the house dared to pester me, and this book provided that same variety of guilty pleasure!

I appreciated the author's (humorous) warnings about spicy parts of the book, though I have grown quite adept at knowing which parts to skim/skip in an open door romance.

My only issues were the slow start (I would have put the contestants' names and backgrounds at the back of the book, so OCD people like me wouldn't feel pressured to keep track from the get go), and the occasional confusion due to both characters using the same stand-out words. (Something schnozzle? and "My God...")

Great drama, great story, delicious fun over all!

Oh my gosh, this book had me laughing out loud. With an antic filled reality tv dating show, that shouldn’t be a real surprise. But my goodness, poor Avery is just about as klutzy and unlucky as I am. But that all turned into a romcom that everyone knew they were going to end up together but the main couple. It was a bit of a slow burn, because cameras everywhere and such, but the spicy scenes were on point. I didn’t realize this was the first in a series, but I will definitely be on the lookout for the upcoming books!

❤️ Featuring a horse named Filly Ray Cyrus that might be my favorite nonhuman character in a long time ❤️

After being dumped by her long time boyfriend, Avery’s reality tv obsessed best friend suggested she try out for Heart to Heart to get back at him. But she’s an introvert who doesn’t do public anything or try to stand out. But when she comes across a foreclosure notice in her mom’s bakery drawer, she reconsiders. If she can make it on there, and get to runner up that would save her parents’ bakery. Besides. The love interest is her celebrity crush from her teenage years, there’s no way he would pick her. So she might as well try.

Thank you to Literally Yours PR for the copy, all thoughts are my own.

Hallmark meets The Bachelor!

I voluntarily read an early copy of this book and was not disappointed. First, this was a new author for me and I really enjoyed this.

Avery signs up for a reality dating show in hopes to win enough to help save her family’s struggling bakery. Tristan is a celebrity coming off a bad break up and dust up with the paparazzi gone wrong. I’m personally not a fan of reality dating shows but this was a fun spin on it. Avery and Tristan have an instant connection. I love a good celebrity story and I really liked that Tristan was not a cocky bad boy celebrity. He was down to earth (as much as he could be) and very empathetic to Avery and the other contestants. Avery was her lovable, clumsy self and didn’t try to be anything different.

This is a fun romcom that’s a perfect mix of Hallmark and The Bachelor. It also has a great supporting cast of characters. An easy, entertaining read and I look forward to more from this author and these characters.

Avery I loved her character so much, she was an easily relatable fmc, at least for me but she reminds me of myself a bit plus I'm partial to her because she's also from Michigan. She is funny, sweet, clumsy and all around one of my favorites from this book.
Tristan Loved his character as well, I could easily picture him in the book, and some of the lines in the book without being too spoiler-y had me absolutely giggling at how cute it was.
my favorite quote that wouldn't be spoiler-y is
"I don't want to be past tense when it comes to you."

Other Characters I love the friendship she had with Sasha and a certain redemption arc for someone.

This book was a great palette cleanser for me especially since I primarily read dark romance. I will be recommending to anyone who is looking for a cute rom-com story. Plus loved that it was based on a dating show, I personally only watch love is blind but I loved this story.

ARC Review

This book definitely deserves the title RomCom. It's hilarious and sweet all the way through.

After her first serious boyfriend breaks up with her for someone else and finding out her parents might lose her childhood home after the pandemic, heartbroken Avery decides to apply to a reality dating show where she has to win the heart of Tristan Tate her celebrity crush.

Tristan Tate is a mission to recover his career after a unfortunate run in with the paparazzi and a very heartbreaking breakup. His agent believes attending and "finding" love on a dating reality show called Heart to Heart is the best solution.

Once on the show they meet in a very RomCom fashion that had me laughing and kicking my feet. As the soon progresses Tristan & Avery agree to have a fake relationship, but Avery doesn't realize that it's not fake for Tristan at all and in fact not even fake for her either. It just took longer for her to accept her feelings as real.

No reality show is complete without sabotage and a villainess contestant and trust me does Heart to Heart have both. I can't recommend this book enough!

I finished this today. I'm finally getting through a book during my 2024 book slump. For any adult who likes the bachelor or enjoys humor, this is for you. Heart to Heart is a dating show where 30/25 women are trying to win the heart of Tristan Tate. An action hero actor who is trying to help his image. Avery feels out of place compared to all the dolled up girls, and she's in a Cookie Monster Onesie.

This read was fun, and thankfully, I was outside alone because I was literally laughing out loud in parts. The characters are fleshed out with a mix, which is hard because there are a lot of them. The romance wasn't rushed it felt real and fluid. There are spice scenes. There was a lot of visual eye candy to help with the social media feel of a dating show. If you read this, I recommend the paperback to really take in all the visuals
