Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling author, Nana Malone writes Sexy Feel-Good Romance and loves of all things romance and adventure.

That love started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

Another roller coaster story for this couple. I have enjoyed Atticus acknowledging and opening up about his depth of his feelings for Gwen. Gwen still a strong woman is realizing that love is not a weakness but a strength. I have watched all of the characters grow over these past three books and their banter made me giggle. This story is full of twists dispersed with some sweetness and scorching hot scenes. I love Atticus and Gwen as a power couple.

Thank you Valentine PR and Nana Malone for the exciting third book of the Kings for the Boardroom series

Merger by Nana Malone
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
YOU MUST READ Takeover & Acqusition first before reading Merger!

Atticus. You will be the death of me. This man…were 3 books in and he finally got on my last nerves with how much he just wanted to hover over poor Gwen.

Gwen just went through a horrible experience and granted to witness something as awful and lifer altering as Atticus did with Gwen, who knows I may be also super protective, not letting you out of my site any further as well.

I think every woman has experienced the emotions of not feeling wanted or feeling less than by their significant other once before, and to read this in the beginning of the book broke my heart for Gwen.

"𝙈𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙮. 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧-𝙗𝙤𝙢𝙗𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡, 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙄 𝙙𝙤 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙙, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙄 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙢𝙮 𝙢𝙤𝙢 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙨𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚, 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙨, 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙧 𝙣𝙤𝙩. 𝙉𝙤𝙬, 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙙𝙤 𝙪𝙨 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩.”

Gwen really took control the second half of the book. She spoke up when she felt like Atticus was overbearing and I was cheering her on every step of the way.
One of my favorite Gwen scene was when she comes into Atticus’s office while he’s in a meeting over the phone and she services him 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨
So hot!

Tropes:
Touch her and die

Arranged marriage

5* This amazing volume has drama, steam, danger, great secondary characters, and twists and turns. The MCs are loving, likable, engaging, and under stress. I loved this entertaining and enjoyable read. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

4.5 Kings and Queens of the Boardroom Stars

What a great ending to the KINGS OF THE BOARDROOM Trilogy. Gwen and Atticus did not have an easy ride to their HEA, but at last, they had their MERGER.

I have loved this entire trilogy, every rollercoaster ride we took, and every cliffhanger we had to endure. Nana Malone did a fantastic job of hooking me in with every twist and turn, and I am sad to see that we are at the end. I do hope we don't have to wait too long for the spin-off because Age Gap is one of my favorite tropes, and this one will be so good!

Holy Hotness! This one’s a scorcher! What a rollercoaster ride! Atticus & Gwen’s story is full of curveballs. And truthfully I enjoyed the secondary characters very much-fingers crossed we’ll hear more about them. Although I really liked the ending I’m a bit confused. What’s coming next???

This trilogy could have been 2 books, this last one was repetitive and predictable. The male characters are supposed to be super smart but don’t see what is in front of them *face palm*

The perfect way to wrap up a storyline!!

Well she did it! I wasn’t sure where Nana was going to take us after dangling us off that cliff in Acquisition, but where we were lead is exactly where we needed to be.

In this book we get Atticus & Gwen’s steamy HEA, but the ride to get there is one you aren’t going to want to miss.

I throughly loved this trilogy, it has made me a fan of Nana’s storytelling. She writes strong, smart women and the men who love them. Do not miss this series!

1. Takeover
2. Acquisition
3. Merger

This may have been a 3rd times a charm for Atticus’ thought process. Ha!

This. Was. Fire.

I have loved the evolution of this couple and this story.

It was AMAZING! And I loved Gwen’s interactions in this one as well.

Highly recommend.

Cannot. Wait. For. Morgan’s story!

This may be the only Nana Malone series I’ll ever read. 1) If I’m being made to pay for a book I feel like there shouldn’t be any grammar/syntax/spelling errors. 2) This did not need to be a trilogy. She could’ve cut down on some of the sex scenes & redundant convos/scenarios and 2 books would’ve sufficed. 3) I like smut as much as the next person but the sex scenes were a little excessive. I found them to be cringey instead of sexy. Like, how are you having a full on conversation while having sex? And the whole “ mine!” or “yours!”- ugh, just stop! 4) All they could think & talk about is sex, even in front of their employees, like come on! 5) I couldn’t picture them being super rich & powerful, the men were immature. The romance book club- really?

This really did not need to be a trilogy. Honestly, the “Merger” was basically a novella with its mere 200 pages or so. The whole story could be easily divided into a duet at most.

Especially that there was barely anything going on in that last installment. And it’s really hard to take that billionaire boys club seriously with all their security and hacking knowledge, when they miss an obvious threat that stands out and instead try to blindly look for answers in all the wrong places.

Those guys were supposed to be experienced and smart, yet they felt like boys playing grown ups.

Anyway, it was just plain boring and repetitive, which is almost impressive to do with such a short book.

Holy Smokes! After that nail-biting cliffhanger at the end of Acquisition, I had so many feelings and questions. Thankfully, Book 3 of the series didn’t waste any time jumping back into the action. I won’t spill any major spoilers, but Atticus and Gwen have their work cut out for me. Not only do they have to deal with all the major developments of the previous books, new ones, and of course their relationship itself. While Atticus and Gwen have many differences, they have many things in common as well as their complex and relationship with their respective fathers. You can see how much it still truly affects them not only as adults as they navigated previous romantic relationships. I also appreciate how readers were treated to another side of them, especially Atticus. It adds depth to their characters. Of course, while heavy subjects were explored the author always lights them up with clever humor and off-the-chart steamy romance. Lastly, I had several characters on my list for suspects and was right about one of them. I still have a few lingering questions, but I am sure they will be addressed in future books. Speaking of future books, I am already so invested in Lance and Morgan’s story. I felt there was so much more than their occasional “spat”. Overall, I enjoyed the story and conclusion. I am patiently looking forward to seeing whose story will be released next.

I’m overwhelmed with emotions! 💥 This final installment was bittersweet, but it gave me EVERYTHING I needed. Gwen and Atticus? PURE 🔥🔥. They’re the ultimate power couple, and I’m obsessed with how Atticus’ love for Gwen grew even stronger. He was ready to give her the world!

Atticus not only protected Gwen, but FINALLY let his nurturing side shine. He understood that she needed comfort, but didn’t want to be treated like she was made of glass. When they talked it out? PERFECTION. And can we talk about Atticus showing his caring side? Like painting her toenails??? SWOON!

But let’s be real, Gwen was THE star of this show! She proved she’s a total BOSS, taking control of everything, and Atticus bowed down HAPPILY. The SPICE in this book though… DEAR LORD! Atticus’ dirty mouth was something else, but in this one? Whew, it was NEXT LEVEL. 😏🔥

The group dynamic was 👌—they all came together in a way that kept me on the edge of my seat. The way they figured things out, from Gwen to Atticus to Morgan and Lakewood, was SO satisfying. And let’s not forget, everyone fears Atticus, but they better fear Gwen too! She’s classy AND lethal.

The ending? PURE PERFECTION. And Nana Malone, THAT EPILOGUE???? I NEED that next book like YESTERDAY! 📚✨

A nice conclusion to this trilogy!

Although I still enjoyed it, the book was most likely my least favourite of the three. For it being the shortest in the series, it felt like the longest. The story could have been a duet. There were just many moments in the second and third book that felt like it was dragging. Sometimes there would be a conversation that last 10 pages, but it’s simply back and forth dialogue that goes no where.
Glad that we got to Gwen and Atticus together and happy for sometime.

Enjoyed the characters development even though felt unsatisfied with some side characters involvements. What truly happen with his mom’s past? What about her Dad? Why was shown when he and many others plays pretty much no role to the plot?

For the next book, I’m intrigued but mainly due to the Morgan and seeing other characters. I don’t like Lance very much. There isn’t a specific reason but I just can’t get a read on him.

Nana Malone’s cliffhanger in Book 2 of the “Aquisition” had me ticking off the days until I finally got to the finale of Gwen and Atticus’ story. “Merger” was likely one of the hottest I’ve read from the author. I paused and looked around—thinking others could hear what I was reading inside my head. Many “oh my” moments got steamier and steamier. But that aside, “Merger” continued to show how much love Gwen and Atticus had grown and how much support Atticus had for her. He treated Gwen like a queen and called her such.

The teaser that the author incorporated into the plot of Gwen’s younger sisters, Morgan and Lance, excited me. I want this to happen so bad, and I can’t wait til it does.

This final book in the Kings of the Boardroom trilogy was the perfect ending to one spicy, wild, suspense filled ride and picks right up where Acquisition ended.

Atticus and Gwen are determined to find the threat causing them grief and looking to eliminate Gwen once and for all. I LOVEEE when Atticus goes all possessive caveman, and Gwen only allows that to slide so long before she shows him that she can handle things with him. This story kept me on the edge of my seat, ready for the next turn, but met me, say the twists that unfolded sure did leave me jaw-dropped just as I expected from Nana.

If you love explosive chemistry, hot as hell sexy scenes, suspense with witty banter, then I definitely recommend reading this trilogy!!

Wow, what a whirlwind! I can’t believe the twists and turns, the ups and downs—this book is a total roller coaster of emotions. Fire, passion, intrigue, mystery—I felt it all while reading. Atticus freaking Price is an unhinged, unrelenting, possessive, and domineering man, and I loved every second of it. From the mysterious happenings to the hard decisions and stolen glances, this book is an absolute masterpiece that I couldn’t tear myself away from.

The love Atticus has for Gwen is hot, pure, and raw—an all-consuming kind of love that will have you swooning. Gwen’s newfound self-assurance and confidence paired with Atticus’s rare moments of relinquishing control make every aspect of this story captivating. You’ll be enthralled by the adventure these two lovers embark on, and the ending? Absolutely perfect—a beautiful conclusion to an unforgettable journey.

This is the continuation of Atticus and Gwen's story, and it does not disappoint. There are tons of twists and turns with someone trying to kill Gwen. Good characters and lots of great dialog keeps you reading right to the last page. Atticus is conflicted in how to keep Gwen safe and has to learn to let go (at least a little) so he doesn't lose the one he loves. Good read.

I voluntarily wrote this review from reading an advanced copy of this book.

This is the final piece of Atticus and Gwyn's story, and it picks up from that heart stopping cliffy at the end of book two. You best hold on because the story isn't over yet and there is plenty of drama, intensity, tension, emotion, sizzle, heart and twists to keep you glued to the pages while reading as fast as you can to see how it all ends.

I always adore Nana Malone’s storytelling but Atticus and Gwen just spoke to me. Atticus was over protective and yes maybe too much of an alpha male but his love for Gwen ultimately shines through. Add in excitement, danger and love and you have all the trappings of an excellent conclusion to their trilogy. Can’t wait to read Malone’s next book!

This was a fitting end to the trilogy. We find out who has it out for Gwen, which wasn’t a surprise at all. I do wish it was a more interesting mystery/reveal.

I loved that pantry scene. It made me love Atticus more.

Also that ending?! I get teasing the next story but we did not get confirmation! Maybe there will be a follow up or they appear in Morgan and Lance’s book but that’s a pet peeve of mine to not completely finish a story before previewing the next one.

Overall an enjoyable trilogy and fitting ending.

The final book in this series! I loved these books, and I’m sad to see it come to an end. It’s been wonderful watching Atticus and Gwen develop into the couple that they are now.Merger was the perfect ending to the Kings the Boardroom books.

I won’t lie, Atticus made me frustrated in the beginning of this one. His overprotectiveness was A LOT. But, Atticus and Gwen really are the perfect match. When Atticus shuts down, Gwen always knows how to get him to open up again. I love how fiercely he loves Gwen. They’ve both been through so much, and I’m so happy to see them get the ending they deserve.

Thank you so much Nana Malone and Valentine PR for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the final book in the Gwen & Atticus series. Imma tell you I was annoyed about a few things:
- there is a pregnancy test taken and I have no idea what happened because I’m assuming it was addressed in the epilogue that only Paterson members could read. Really? I’ve purchased all 3 books and that’s not enough to share with me?
- seriously the characters who were supposed to be highly paid and trained security didn’t think there was something up with Lucy? SERIOUSLY???
- The book ended their story and picked up Morgan and Lance’s which was cool. But why was that more important than closing the circle on Gwen & Atticus. especially when this book won’t be published until March 2025.

So I was extremely let down by the third book.

2.5 stars.

I was so disappointed in this book, I don’t even want to talk about it.
I loved book one so much. Book two was okay but this one I felt like was dragged on. Too much smut for me too, it just felt unnecessary at times. I love Atticus and Gwen and loved that they got their HEA but this book wasn’t for me.
I am interested in reading the next series and I have high expectations for it.
